The only good things were food in the buffet n friendly personnel. Bad n expensive Internet , old rooms, old tv, no difference between standard n VIP rooms, but charge 30$ more per person. Bad beach chairs 60% broken, not enough pool chairs, do not stay there.

Check in staff has very limited "customer care knowledge", they probably never worked in a hotel before. Upon arrival to our room we discovered the sliding door to our VIP suite balcony on the ground floor to have a broken handle and no lock, it seems this was fixed by installing a nail through the window frame before and stayed as a standard "new lock", […] the toilet water was running constantly, half the light fixtures didn't work, very little hot water electrical outlets exposed without cover plates, the internet package of 1 hr a week was declined because I didn't have a voucher, (never got it), the pool towels were so limited that people waited to get them, and when the van came with new towels, they only brought like 20 at the time, they were gone again... food was ok, drinks were ok too. We spoke Spanish, so we had an advantage... but met many people very angry because of poor communication. I asked to be moved to another Suite, since I paid extra to have VIP quality, but the said they couldn't change my room, and if they were to do so, it would be a regular room and I would still be charged as VIP, which I found it to be a rip off. now I'm back home and feel totally ripped off. You can't walk around the resort in peace without having sales people from the hotel selling you their excursions, treatments and deals... it becomes really tired-some and stressful. There are signs of deferred negligent maintenance, this place lacks focus on staying on top of things... sadly! Devamı

We were there with 28 month old toddler. Liked small territory (compare to other resorts) Nothing special about food. Could be better for Christmas and New Year. We did know how much we paid and what to expect. Expect less and will get more :) Big waves (not for everybody). We loved it and our toddler too. The food was awesome and the resort itself was amazing. Could have done without the people they let come into the resort to peddle. They were allowed to set up right at poolside just before the pool closed for the day and they followed you and would not leave you alone. Other than that we had a fabulous time in the DR.

Great people working in the restaurants and the bars, very friendly, kind... great people; however the rooms and beds are not so good; we had to ask three times to have towels in our room. Food in restaurant was not what I was expecting (some processed and frozen food instead fresh), as well as drinks. Not too many options in the buffet.

We had a great time. The staff was great. No complants about any of the restraunts. The grounds are beautiful. The rooms need updateing . We had to change rooms because of noise.We were the first room to the entrance of the building and also were the shuttle drops and picks people up at all hours. There is NO working windsurfing equipment , as they claim !!! 1 demaged board with falling out dageord , 1 leARNIG BOARD ALSO BROKEN STRIPS , AND 1 ( ONE !!!) SAIL , DESIGN 1989 4.2.M NO STIFFENERS , MUSEUM STILE WITH BROKEN ROPE . They shouldn't say they have windsurfing . The staff at the Caribe Club Princess are great. They work very hard and will go above and beyond. From the moment you arrive at the front desk you will be welcomed by the hotel staff. At the buffet's there was plenty of food and of good quality. Most people will find items they will enjoy. We ate at all of the specialty restaurants and they were great. […] Beach was nice with plenty of chairs, typical use your towel in the morning to save your spot. Pool was also fun and active to hang out at. Now the downside. The hotel is dated, especially the rooms. They need to start spending some money on updating the the rooms. They were clean but I can see where some people might not be happy because of the age. The mattresses are old although I did sleep well on it. A/C and the minnie frig worked well. Overall we were looking for a budget vacation, so we did not expect 5 stars. We had a great time at a 3.5 star hotel and it was priced right. The staff here are 5 stars and remember a small tip is greatly appreciated by all the hard working people of the Dominican Republic. We did two excursion, the Polaris buggies lots of fun and Country Express with guide Louis. Louis was awesome. Very informative and friendly. We had a blast with him. Thanks Louis! Devamı

we took our kids to this hotel for 8 days. At first glance the grounds, beach, and room were beutiful. However, No hot water, no warm water. We had a whirlpool suite that we couldn't fill up because there was not only no warm or hot water, but no water pressure. We were able to fill up 1/3 of the tub in about an hour. The AC Cooled our room to a warm […] 76 degrees. it was nicer outside than in our room most days. When we called maintenance they were no help I think the guy just held a wrench and pretended to do stuff for a minute and said be back in 5 minutes never came back. Called again the next day and 2 hours later still no one there to fix our ac or hot water. So we delt with it. And don't bother asking the staff questions, they don't know anything, they are poorly trained and unhelpful. It takes about 10 minutes to get a soda at dinner, the employees all wonder around doing nothing and walking by you, and by the way they will not stop personal conversations to help customers at all. I went on an excursion and i had to wait outside the hotel gate for the transportation to pick me up. I booked the excursion through expedia. When I was done with the excursion we ordered a picture cd, guess what they still would not let the excursion company through the gate. Then when i would call the front desk to ask for something they threatened that if i didnt go to security to pick it up we would not get our extra pillow. Devamı

This was my first trip to the Dominican Republic, and the hotel was nice, but the location is beautiful. The hotel room with king bed was spacious, but you are not there to spend time in your room. The pools were great, beach was pretty, restaurants with plenty of variety, and lots to drink, overall great time

I would say that overall my stay at Caribe Club Princess was very good. There were a few quirks- the AC in the room didn't work real well and the show basically had no water pressure. The AC ran the whole time just to keep in to 74-75 degrees; they should really think about replacing their system with the new modern portable wall units you see all over […] central America now. If you are going to this hotel expecting a nice room and food, just choose a different hotel, however if you are kind a person ( like me) that the most important is the beach and have fun I recommend besides everything the price is good because at the in a caribe what it matters is the beach

I've been to DR 7 times, first time at this hotel and unfortunately had bad experience with customer service. The beach is beautiful, the pools are nice, the food is good, the rooms need some reinnovating, the entertainment could be better. I booked this hotel to get married. Francelia, the wedding coordinator, was good but having a visual of packages and decor would be helpful. Now, the customer service was poor; it wasn't consistent throughout our stay. I've always used Discover credit card in all my DR travels and when I used it to pay for our wedding package; the reception said it […] was denied. From then on, it was a headache, a problem that they wanted me to fix when I told them from the beginning what the credit card company needed from the hotel. Even the general manager from guest service wanted me to resolve this. We were there for 10 days. On the 8th day, they finally understood that they had to take care of the problem; an added stress to a wedding vacation. The food was good. The service again wasn't consistent throughout our stay. I'm not sure if it's because my husband is Dominican; we were questioned hard at the security to enter the hotel. We even showed him the voucher of reservation. Wasn't pleased from the start. The beach was beautiful, clean, white sands...The entertainment was alright, some dancers looked like they were out of sync and didn't feel like dancing. The disco needs a new DJ. I felt like giving him my ipod. He needed to upgrade his playlist. This hotel is good if you're only there for the beach and excursions and just need a place for sleep and shower. I've been DR 6 times, 4 times in Punta Cana and I will definitely not come back to this place Devamı

We were so disappointed in the hotel! From the second we got tho the property we knew that we were going to have problems. My husband and I had booked a king room and when we arrived we had a room with two double beds. After arguing with the from desk they finally got us a king room. When we got there they told us to leave our bags and they would be […] delivered to our rooms. So, we go to our room and when we walk in it smells terrible! The moldy smell is overbearing and we had to instantly open a door because the smell was so bad. Also, our la p was completely broken, as was our mirror. We had one towel in the bathroom and no provided toiletries in the bathroom. So, I called the front desk to tell the, about our room and to ask for a different room because of the smell. They told me to go to dinner and they would have a new room for us when we were done. We went to dinner and when we returned 1 1/2 hours later, out luggage still hadn't arrived to our room and when I called the front desk and was told that there was no empty rooms and we would just have to deal with the smell. I was livid! After throwing another fit I was told that someone would be right up with new room keys and our luggage. 2 hours later our luggage shows up, but no new keys. After calling back 5 different times, I was told that I needed to relax and to not get so worked up about it by the front desk. Needless to say we will not be going back... Devamı

This place is paradise. I just got back yesterday and I had a great time. I feel terrible that people leave bad reviews about this place bc its not true. The staff here is incredibly hard working!! The grounds are impeccable. You have to make dinner reservations early enough so they're not all booked but its not a big deal just get it done and enjoy […] the rest of your day. I highly recommend the VIP package bc they give you a free massage, internet and premium drinks. Your wrist band means everything so definitely pay the extra and get an orange VIP band. There are daily activities, beach parties, aerobics, spa, nightly shows and there is a club on site - I never made it there bc I was always too tired from the daily activities lol. There is something for everyone. Obama truly is awesome so if you go, dont be afraid to say hello to him, Antonio and Jose. All of the other staff are equally wonderful. The room was a little dated but if you're going to stay in the room all day, you might as well stay home! There are plenty of chairs on the beach and near the pool. There are 3 large pools so how can people say they couldn't find a spot??? If you are a happy person and you go there with the intent to relax and have fun, then you will have the time of your life. If you are a negative person, go somewhere else (dont bring your negativity to this paradise). I have nothing bad to say about this wonderful resort - I really enjoyed myself. Best, friendly and funny bartenders, good variety of food (different theme every night). Different activities everyday and the pool was awesome. The beach wasn't all that great, because of all the algae. Great hotel, and you meet people from all over the world.

Although the potential is certainly there, my experience was certainly not a good one, they could not even tell me how to get to the hotel after talking to 6 or 7 different people on 6 or 7 different occasions, but this is not the problem.Took over an hour to check in and it was not a busy time, there is no internet service other than in lobby which […] is a 1/2 mile from where you stay. The main restaurant is great, the speciality ones very sub average. There are too many guests for the number of plates, cups and silverware so always short, not enough pool chairs, etc. They run on a volume situation attracting Dominicans at one of the best rates locally but you pay a price if you want service. My first day was bad because I got the worst room in the hotel which was located in a dark hallway the bed i got was a double bed not suitable for a couple even though I payed for a king one.The next day they changed my room to a not too much better that the previous only the bed was bigger ,this room was next to a hotel storage where employees made […] lots of noise.The rooms in general are very rusty including the bathroom not to mention the mattress which was dirty, old and smelly.In the pool I asked for towels and the guy in the kiosk laughing told me they didnt have anymore.The food is bad, not too much variety and not sea food whatsoever!! maybe u will find chicken or pork if lucky. The snack restaurant which is ur only option after 11pm has only dry hamburgers and nasty hotdogs. The drinks in this hotel are very very cheap, fernet is not included not even good rum. The bar tenders are not happy with their job they make rude comments like when i was hugging my gf in the pool, one of them said "hey no sex in the pool please" akward. The a la carte restaurants are so hard to book that in 7 days i stayed i couldnt attend neither of the 5. There are solicitors all over the hotel, trying to take you to a next door hotel to sell u something so they can make 5 bucks per guy they catch, it was a bad experience over all, the only nice part of the hotel is the lobby.My advise if u can spend two or three hundred dollars more, DO IT, it will save ur vacation.......Trust me!!! The first room we got had a broken air conditioner and after the first night they changed our room. In the second room, the AC worked but the shower barely did and the hot water was spotty at best. We booked a Superior Suite, but the picture of both rooms didn't match the actual room. Online, the Superior Suite picture was actually a picture of the […] Honeymoon Suite. We looked at a Honeymoon Suite to upgrade and I realized the Honeymoon Suite picture online was actually the Royal Suite. The food was dreadful. My wife was afraid to eat any of the meat dishes at any of the restaurants after the first place we tried. The food delivered through room service was okay when we could get them on the phone. Sometimes I called and would get no answer. Sometimes we called and got an answer but nobody that could speak English and hung up on us. Sometimes we waited on hold or the line was busy so eventually gave up. We ended up buying a lot of chips from the resort store. The only plus to this resort is the proximity to the ocean and pools. Of the three pools, we spent all our time in the non-bar pool since it was quieter and more relaxing. The beach is right by the hotel and it's less than a 2 minute walk from even the farthest room so that was nice, but not enough to make up for the bad food and uncomfortable room. Devamı

Obama, Luna and Antonio!!! Love those guys. I am Dominican and I took my Peruvian husband for the first time to DR. These guys showed him all our typical drinks, they were very friendly and funny!!!!

Overall it was an enjoyable experience. We had to wait 2 days to get our tv to work and another day to get a remote. The air conditioner was not adjustable and was set to freezing. The staff was so helpful and super friendly. It was actually the staff that made it enjoyable. I would give it a 3.7 on a scale of 1-5 with 5 being super awesome. The hospitality, friendliness and overall kindness of everyone is enough to spoil anyone The activities are constant and entertaining for both adults and kids. The food was fresh and delicious even for the most finiky eaters. Great place for families on a budget.

No wi-fi in your room or anywhere else but the lobby. Internet use for 15 mins = $5.00 (US). If you want to print your boarding pass, it will cost you $1.00 (US) per page. Not enough plates at the buffet. We had to wait for the plates to be replenished. This happened four out of the six nights we were there. If you want a safe in your room to keep money […] and documents, it will be an additional $24.00 (US). It's not very close to the airport. They always replenish your water and soda in the mini bar that's in your room. Overall, it's nice and peaceful. The staff is nice. We saw peacocks, ducks, beautiful and exotic birds and fish. the hotel toilet was broken.we had to fix it every time we flushed it.it kept the water running.i also called the room attendant for water at 5am and no one was available to get me some bottle water.so i drank the tap water which was full of clorine.the refrigerator don't not work.

My boyfriend and I enjoyed our vacation at the resort. Big thank you to Max (front desk) for the friendly smile every day and the Spanish lessons. :-) The resort was well-maintained, staff was friendly and the food was decent. The ability to travel around the resort and to the other sister resorts by bus was very convenient. We enjoyed the nightly […] performances in the theatre by the staff. Although not trained dancers, they did a great job with enteraining the guests. Especially enjoyed the Night of Stars where they put on performances as Beyonce, Spice Girls, Village People and Michael Jackson. The Michael Jackson performance was fantastice...truly enjoyed it. Prior to our trip, I read many bad reviews of this resort and was worried about our trip. However, I don't understand why there were so many negative reviews about this resort. It's a 3 - 3 1/2 start hotel...not five start. You get what you pay for and I think it was money well spent. Devamı

The hotel resort is clean. They are continuously cleaning the grounds/buildings/pools. Staff is very friendly and security personnel everywhere. The food isnt the best but it isnt the worst either. Only had an issue with the "Rodizo" dinner...the meats were overbroiled to the point of being burned.
