Cabo Inn Hotel - Cabo San Lucas

My Mom and I were up to a bit of an adventure away from the 5 star, all inclusive easy holiday. The Cabo Inn provided an awesome spot to experience a taste of old Mexico with daily walks to surrounding restaurants and markets. We enjoyed the friendly staff, clean facilities including the library and swimming pool. We both started out in separate, regular […] rooms and then my mom upgraded to the rooftop bungalow. It was a delight for her. She felt like a Queen and has taken home some beautiful photos of her whimsical surroundings. The Cabo Inns' boast is not centered around brand new. It does not claim perfect condition. I have some friends who would only feel comfortable in 4 or 5 star hotels and I would never suggest they stay at the Cabo Inn. On the other hand, if you look for beauty in the colors and textures of Mexico you will find it here. We would go again in a heartbeat. Devamı

Very inexpensive, even during Semana Santa/Easter Week. Artsy environment, with bright paint, unique decorations to brighten the small, spartan rooms. Office staff very helpful; some are native English speakers. Communal fridge, microwave, and potable water in lobby. Don't drink the tap water! Street parking somewhat iffy, but hotel shares a gravel […] parking lot across the street, behind a locked gate. To park or retrieve your car, bang on the gate for 5 or 10 minutes until someone comes to open it, or just honk your horn until you wake everyone on the block. Very close to marina, 10-15 minute walk to Medano Beach, similar distance to the old downtown/Plaza Wilkes neighborhood. Devamı

This hotel was small and comfy. The staff was friendly and the room was just right for me. I only wanted a room to sleep in and shower so I got exactly what I wanted. For the price, Cabo Inn is perfect.

The top floor rooms - palapas, are wonderful. Nothing like them - waking up to a balmy breeze in a very comfortable bed. The staff and owners are very kind and friendly and helpful as well.

This cozy inn is an intimate place that is very colorful with a decorative mexican feel. The plants and the festive forrest look made it feel tropical. You really have to stay there with someone you enjoy being with, because the space in the rooms are compact and there is a common area where everyone can talk , watch TV and maybe have some coffee with. […] The walk to the neighborhood stores , banks and restaurants are close by. The marina and the mall is the popular place to find great resturants and take water boat rides out to the middle of the sea with tour guides. The beach is also in walkin distance. I went for my 45th birthday and had the greatest time of my life. Would go back in a heart beat. Fun place right near the action, not too noisy, request palapas if available and you can afford it. The owners are friendly and helpful. Such a fantastic little place! So colorful and just great. Has everything a budget traveler needs there or nearby.

Excellent 10-15 min walk to beach, malls, marina. Great location. Lots of great character in layout and appearance of building, unique ambience, artful decor. Very economical choice. Felt very safe as a solo female traveller. Got great tips from owner on unique sights and even where to find economical groceries nearby. The Cabo Inn is wonderful! It is brightly colored with wonderful plants and decorations. Each room has paintings on the walls. There are several types of accomodations varying from rooms with twin beds, to multi bed rooms and larger Suite units on the 3rd floor. There is even an outdoor lounge on the 3rd floor and a small pool. There is a central courtyard […] that has a communal table and a small kitchentte for guest to use. The coffee is brewing early in the morning for guests... It was such a wonderful experience meeting people from all over the world. Best of all it is walling distance to the marina and all the wonderful restaurants. Thanks Cabo Inn for making my Cabo vacation enjoyable! Devamı

First off, I did not want to stay in some ugly resort full of tourists, so this hotel appealed to me. Its a nice clean basic hotel run by some very friendly people. The property is well maintained with many artistic touches, my room "The Picasso Room" was small, but, I didn't need a huge room, nor did I want one. I love the stmosphere of the place. Very sociable, not all resorty, close to the centre, and the staff and owner are great! Definitely will recommend to friends visiting there and will stay there next time I visit Cabo San Lucas myself! A++

We LOVED the Cabo Inn. It is in downtown Cabo, a short walk from the Marina, with many restaurants and activities nearby. The inn itself is small, very friendly, very ethnic in decor with wonderful color, greenery, open air courtyard, communal kitchen, clean and charming. We were in the Frida Kahlo room with a large mural of Frida on the wall. Every […] room has an artistic motif and everywhere you look there is color. It was quiet but usually with people to talk with sitting around the table in the courtyard. This is a family owned inn out of the past with English spoken. Good location but very very basic....... The facility was clean but old and worn. The hotel is very noisy being close to several nighclubs.

Cabo Inn is a very cute, quaint hotel. Built as a brothel, the rooms are small, but they have all the conveniences. Very colorful with Mexican flavor. Owners very accomodating and pleasant to talk with. I would definitely recommend others to use Cabo Inn.

If you want a 5-star hotel experience, forget it. But if you want a great value, an authentic feel and a central location, this is the place. There should be a sign saying "No whiners allowed." This little gem has so much character; the common space has beautiful plants, colourful pots and tapestries. The open air yoga, massage, hot tub, sitting area on the rooftop was a wonderful space. The people were all fabulous and interesting. The recommendations for local cuisine were great; a truly great Mexican experience!

The Cabo Inn is a great little spot, perfect for the economic traveler looking for a glimpse of the real Cabo San Lucas. Being in the heart of the city you are immersed in the culture of the Cabo locals and only a five minute walk to the beach and the tourist sector. I was traveling alone and everyone at the Cabo Inn, staff and guests, were so nice. […] I was never bored. whether I was hanging out on the roof deck by the pool or partying with one of the other guests in town, I was always having fun. If you want to rent a car and drive up to Todos Santos or rent kayaks just ask the front desk and they will help you get the best price. Situated just off the mayhem of the bars and clubs, the Inn was quiet and clean. The unique rooms complement the character of the town and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.

You can tell that Hotel Cabo is very well loved as the whole place oozes personality and charm. It's right by the harbour, which is like any harbour in a tropical setting. I really love this little hotel, just wish it wasn't beside and all night bar!

The owners of this charming hotel were so gracious and accommodating. I really appreciated their help with reserving tours and with their openness about their interests and pursuits. I had a great time and much preferred this simpler and more supportive personal experience in comparison to the larger more touristy hotels. I would recommend this hotel […] highly to a friend. Le Cabo Inn Hotel est un bien bel endroit si on a envie d'utiliser la minuscule chambre pour dormir seulement et se laver avant d'attaquer les activités inépuisables de Cabo San Lucas. Le prix est très abordable (mais si vous avez une ivitée pour la nuit, attendez-vous à vous faire facturer un supplément)... Le pire n'a pas été le supplément à payer, […] mais le fait que le propriétaire ne soit pas venu me prévenir en personne, il en a plutôt informé l'amie de ma copine qui passait pour nous prendre ce matin-là. C'est un cas unique et isolé mais, un conseil, soyez certains de tout suivre à la lettre sinon, gare au malaise. La nuit, l'endroit est très bruyant (situé sur une rue très passante la nuit et le matin). Heureusement, j'avais mes bouchons pour dormir. Mais dans l'ensemble, c'est pas cher, c'est propre, c'est proche de tout, mais ce n'est pas conçu pour y passer tout son temps. Ah, oui, j'oubliais. Le lit était un matelas de styromousse monté sur un bloc de béton. Très inconfortable pour le dos. Le matelas dégage égalment une légère odeur de moisissure, mais on s'y fait. L'endroit est plus un motel qu'un hotel. Son principal attrait est sa situation par rapport à tout ce qu'il y a à faire et à voir. La salle à dîner est une salle communautaire, mais elle est principalement utilisée par la famille du propriétaire et leurs invités. Ainsi, bien qu'elle soit à la disposition des clients, on peut se sentir de trop et dérangeant. Mais pour le prix, il n'y a pas trop à se plaindre. Devamı
