Los Gatos Lodge - Los Gatos

We stayed for four days and had very enjoyable time. The hotel is near shopping , points of interest and walking opportunities. The park like setting with swimming pool is very attractive and restful. Complimentary breakfast is convenient and adequate. Overall, avery nice experience.

Ideally you would have 4 bedpillows on the kingsize bed (not just 3),and also a second sink in the vanity counter.We found the landscape lovely, and the location excellent, personal friendly and had a good stay. We would stay again if we visit Los Gatos again.

rooms were dirty, grounds were dirty, and late night noise was BAD.

I ended up staying at "The Lodge" on two separate occasions in one week. The location adjacent to the silicon valley and the town of Los Gatos makes it convenient and pleasant. The Lodge has a nice pub with friendly and efficient service. The facility itself is pleasant and clean, good for family or routine business travel. There is gate that leads […] to the local high school athletic field and that offers convenient access to the downtown area. It's a short walk to the downtown with an array of shops and restaurants. This is an average hotel, surrounded in a nice, safe, and secure neighborhood. Room was comfortable and good shape. The only flaw was that the bathroom door would continually open.

The 1st room I was assigned smelled of cigarette smoke. The 2nd room was better. The bed was comfortable. The shower curtain billowed in during my shower. The room was quiet. The grounds are very nice. Breakfast is good. They ran out of oatmeal before 10 AM. I enjoyed the tangerines, bananas, cereal, and dining room ambience, lthough I'd prefer not […] to have the TV on. I've stayed at the los gatos lodge before. It has never been a luxury place. But in the year that between visits it has gone downhill. The room is musty, the rugs need cleaning; the bed linen is not white, they may be sparing bleach. The room heating is an old, noisy air conditioner run in reverse, so noisy that with it on you can't sleep, with it of […] the room was so cold that you couldn't sleep. I'll stay there no more!!! It is okay for me, but my wife hated it. Not enough towels, thin walls, and lack of hot water. The good news is that it is cheap.

It is a good location for Los Gatos given the price of room. The breakfast is more than the typical continental breakfast offer by others. The hot water in the shower was not good. It appears that when more than one person in the hotel was taking a shower at the same time, hot water was not available.

It is a bit like camping in the rooms. Sort of a lodge type feel. The building I was in needs updating bad.

I wish I would have read the reviews before booking this hotel. It is a dated property and my room was just OK for the price. Smelled like dirty feet. Nothing special.

Do not be fooled by the Palm tress in the photo. This is not a nice hotel. There was no hot water and it is very shabby. I was very disappointed.

The room was very small, heater noisy. We were also interrupted by a maintenance person trying to get into the room. Good thing we had put the latchkey lock on. We did however receive a call from the front desk apologizing for the mistake. It was extremely cold outside and the hall doors were left open making the hallways also very cold. The lodge was cute, location was too far to walk to any attractions but it was a close drive. The room was adequate but the heater worked too well and you had to choose between sweltering or nothing. The toilet was malfunctioning and sounded like an airplane toilet. The shower had awesome pressure but the water was incredibly hot and I had to keep adjusting […] and the drain wouldn't drain so I ended up taking a combo bath/shower. My biggest complaint however was the service. We asked for an extra coffee packet the night we checked in, we were told someone would bring one in the morning and when it wasn't there, we called and made the request again and they still never sent one. They also made bad recommendations when asked where to go for food, especially breakfast. It was inexpensive, that's about the best I can say. Devamı

There is nothing remarkable about this hotel. The rooms are adequate but in need of rennovation. The internet is impossibly slow. The Fitness Center is small and the equipment is not maintained well. The coffee maker in the room was without the actual coffee and mugs. This was the only real bump. The continental breakfast could be with more choices.

Quiet, convenient location. The breakfast was in the bar area and I thought is was rather unfriendly. It was quite cold with no lights/staff there. Otherwise, the lobby was warm and friendly with fireplace. I would stay there again

The breakfast buffet was low on regular coffee and the variety of cereal was not too great, though they offered a lot of the ones they had. The bananas were better suited for banana bread than for adding it to the cereal.

The staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was a little too soft for my taste. Breakfast was okay.

This hotel is conveniently located to CA9/ 17/ 85. The room was okay. The desk chair was missing, and there was an extra TV-set on the patio. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was fine, only the shower was tricky with hot and cold water switched. Breakfast buffet has limited choices other than cereal (cold/ hot) and hard boiled eggs. Okay for its purpose

A very pleasant setting, close to everything but very quiet, amid spacious and attractive grounds. Our unit was roomy, clean and well equipped and the staff were friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Los Gatos Lodge.

The staff at the front desk were pleasant enough. The room made me feel like I had to have flipflops on rather than walk around......the sliding door was rough to even open....the telephone didn't work....the TV didn't work properly....the faucet in the bathroom stuck and was difficult to turn off...the toilet took tried to flush and then was like a […] GUSH.
