the breakfast room has the carpet extremly old and diirty and every morning the floor was dirty with bread and other things. it is amasing ( and sorry) to see that nowdayssmoking is still alowed in the lounge of the hotel making it impossible to be there.

The hotel location was convenient and had an excellent view of the Danube River and the Parliament. The hotel room was in superb condition--very comfortable and spacious. Felt like a home away from home. The in-room Nesspresso fresh coffee and machine was a pleasant surprise compliment. Yet the staff service was below par for a Novotel hotel. No staff […] came to help when we parked our car and unloaded luggages (there were a few idle staff standing outside at that time). The concierge was unhelpful when we had questions. Devamı

I booked this hotel as I wanted to treat myself to a view of Parliament on my last day in Budapest. To be fair, the view of Parliament at night from your room cannot be beat. They are literally directly across the Danube from it. But of course the castle view from the Pest side is equally, if not more, exciting. As for the hotel itself, I was a bit […] letdown. It had a very basic feel to it--perhaps this is descriptive of all Novotels? Carpet was cheap and industrial looking--not plush, and had some stains. They incorporate the maddening "half door" shower design which of course leaves water all over the bathroom floor. Bed is low and flat--felt like I was sleeping on a futon. Furniture was basic and uninspiring--like cheap IKEA. Overall the hotel had no vibe to me and felt off the beaten path. I guess that's to be expected after staying 2 days in the exciting Pest area. Breakfast buffet I did not try as it was way overpriced at 22 Euro and they charge 10 Euro for wifi. Come on, hotels charging half as much are at least offering free wifi. Staff was helpful though. Overall, I cannot recommend this hotel as the only thing I would book for is the view and even then I would think the Intercontinental across the Danube offers equally impressive views of Buda castle and is more plush. Management did contact me after reviewing their hotel and offered an upgrade upon a subsequent visit so I can say that the staff and management do care and are responsible. The whole restaurant and lobby area was a haze of smoke. The hotel itself must rate as one of the ugliest buildings in Budapest. Breakfast is mediocre and overpriced. Rooms are nice and clean.

Hotel was great. Air conditioning not working.

Un hôtel très bien situé, avec station de métro et tram très proche, le quartier du château peut se faire à pied. La vue sur le parlement est très agréable lors du petit-déjeuner. Nous étions 4 (parents et enfants) dans la même chambre, ce qui était très confortable. La chambre était spacieuse. Le lit d'appoint porte bien son nom, mais est tout à fait […] correct. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est à conseiller, il ne manquait rien, le service est très rapide, même juste avant 10h, on trouvait de tout. Tous les services indiqués étaint présents. L'hotel est bien entretenu, c'est très propre. Le quartier est assez calme. Le plateau de convivialité avec sachets thé, café, etc... est bien agréable pour une petite pause... Le personnel est assez froid, mais nous avons pu constater que c'est une généralité en Hongrie. Mais ils restent disponibles et serviables.... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cet endroit magnifique qu'est Budapest, où tant de choses sont à voir!!! Devamı

Hotelet hadde en flott beligenhet ved Donau og kort vei til de fleste severdigheter. Servicen var meget god. Og frokosten var veldig bra, det beste vi har opplevet ned over i Europa

Alt fungerte på dette hotellet. Rommet skikkelig rengjort hver dag. Sevice en viktig del av personalets holdning. Vi ble bukket både inn og ut av restauranten/frokostrummet. Stor og mangfoldig frokostbuffe. Fantastisk utsikt mot parlamentsbygingen. Kort vei til trikk og metro. Et lite minus: 2000 forinter, 55-60 NOK er en meningsløs pris på en flaske […] vann fra minibaren som også manglet prisliste. Devamı

Laadukas hotelli metroaseman lähellä. Kolme aamiaista ja joka kerta jotain säätöä. Milloin kahvi oli kylmää, milloin hotellista ei löytynyt lusikoita, milloin kahvikuppeja sai pyytää erikseen. Ja joka kerta sai vaikutelman, että oli henkilökunnalle vaivaksi.

Sentralt til metro, 4 min. til sentrum. Får kjøpt det meste en trenger. Stort Shoppingsenter 15 min. å gå. Trafikkstille.

Novotel for andre gang, faktisk, så dette er et hotell man kommer tilbake til. Det ligger på den rolige Buda-siden, men så sentralt at alt som er spennende er i gåavstand. Ellers er det jo et lekkert hotell med store og gode rom :)

Jeg hadde en super uke i Budapest å er veldig fornøyd med hotellet bortsett fra at det var litt varmt på rommet å fikk bare åpnet ett vindu (såvidt). det er aircondition der men jeg opplevde at det bare ble varmere av den! (selv om jeg satt den på 5 grader). frokosten var god det er flott utsikt til parlamentet om du er så heldig å får rom den veien, […] å ikke inn i bakgården! andbefaler dette hotellet til de som vet/skal oppholde seg på buda siden av Budapest... det ligger ikke så veldig sentralt med tanke på sentrum. men det er billig med t-bane biletter å de går hele tiden men stenger 24... man sov gott, inget märkvärdigt

Problem med dåligt avrining avlopp dusch, i rum. Samt golvbrunnar i bastu, samt dålig luft i gymavd. Och när vi skulle checka ut, tänkte de ta bet för filmkanaler som ingick i rumspriset. Men för övrigt var de mesta OK. Hälsningar Douglas m fam

Ottimo Hotel: pulito, accogliente, personale molto discreto e professionale. La posizione meravigliosa con vista del Palazzo del Parlamento e del Danubio. Prezzo ottimo soprattutto per chi a bambini come me a seguito.

Flussblick ist möglich. Dann schaut man direkt aufs Parlament. Entfernung zur U-Bahn und Bus-Station 2 Gehminuten. Wer gut zu Fuß ist hat, Fußentfernung zur Marieninsel bzw Innenstadt. Hotelkomfort sehr gut. Raumhöhe der Zimmer sehr angenehm (zumindest im 5.OG). Englisch und Deutsch sprechendes und sehr hilfreiches Personal. Möglichkeit zum Tee oder […] Kaffee kochen auf dem Zimmer. Minibar vorhanden, auch Safe. Geräumige Dusche. Separate Toilette. Devamı
