Hotel Byron - Floransa

This hotel is in a good location close to the bus station, however, it is in very shabby condition. The man at the reception was very friendly but the hotel is just in bad shape - appeared dirty and really let go.

Friendly staff. Good location, close to everything. Bed was very hard though. Very basic room.

Hotel was just minutes from train station. We were able to drop our luggage and then enjoy the sights without encumberances. Hotel was a very easy walking distance from all major attractions. Personnel were pleasant and helpful. Room was quite adequate. Bathroom was great and all were extremely clean. Not luxurious but certainly filled our needs.

Nice hotel for the price. Staff very good room a bit small and in need of redecoration could also be a bit noisy. Beware of mosquito's in late September.

Hotel Byron is a very short walk from the train station, however our directions/map that we used to find it the first time could have been better. We ended up walking many extra blocks to find it when it was 2 blocks away. Nice, older hotel had a large room with 4 twin beds (we needed 3) which had very old, soft mattresses. Except for the condition […] if the mattresses, the room was comfortable and spacious. The air conditioning unit was operated by remote control, which was nice when it was on, however, each time we left for a few hours and the maids made up the room, they turned off the A/C and we came back to a hot room. August is very hot in Italy! Breakfast was adequate with croissants, limited cereal, hard rolls, cheese, assorted cookies, toast, yogurt and 2 juices. They had a very nice coffee machine with several varieties of coffee drinks and hot water for tea. We found a lovely restaurant across the street, just down a half a block, which we returned to repeatedly for dinner. Everything in Florence is within walking distance so location of the hotel was good. The staff was very gracious to us and spoke quite good English. They also assisted us with a map of the city, highlighting where the most popular attractions were. We felt very safe walking around the city in the daytime and at night. I had a one day layover in Florence after a long backpacking trip, and I was looking for a hotel close to the train station that was simple, affordable, and very close to the train station. I saw Hotel Byron had a special rate for the night I was in for, so I booked a room, and I was happy with my choice. HB is a good three-star hotel with a friendly […] staff only 100m or so from the main train station. My single room wasn't glamorous by any means, but I was only there to rest, shower, and sleep. The bathroom was very clean, the bed was quite comfortable, and restaurant just outside was just fine. Everything past the main lobby could certainly be remodeled, but at least it has character. We only took the room to tide over a few hours but even during that short time, the room we got was damp and musty. There were mosquitoes in the room. The hotel staff was helpful in accommodating requests to deposit baggage. The location is convenient if you want to be close to the train station but apart from that there is nothing which would compel […] us to stay here again. Devamı

The Hotel Byron is a decent place to stay....nothing fancy....and in a great location. The staff was little bit "stuffy", but the room was clean and interesting, the included breakfast was really decent, and we even had off street parking (at a price). Overall, a good experience, nice and quiet at nite (considering the busy location)....close to everything […] we wanted to see in Florence. Not a bad deal for those travelling to Italy. Devamı

一人で行ったので、宿に金をかけず、ショッピングに回しました。とにかくコスパ優先の方にお勧め。特に問題らしい問題は何もありません。ロマンチックさが無いくらい。

駅から近く、行動するには最高のロケーション。WI-FIが使えるのはロビーのみ。しかし他の旅行客との交流が図れるので、これはこれでよいのかも。値段を考えればお勧めです。

the staffs are kind and nice. location is close to the most of the attractions. the room I got at first night was tiny... Second day I got large double bed room. go with double bed room not twin beds. the hotel is pretty old. wifi works only in the lobby. breakfast is not bad. parking fee is, can't remember right now, pretty expensive. shower booth […] is too small. Das Hotel ist individuell gestaltet, z.B. Stuck an der Decke. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfbereit! Sehr nah am Bahnhof; Sehenswürdigkeiten sind zu Fuß sehr gut zu erreichen! Insgesamt ein sehr zufriedenstellender Aufenthalt für einen niedrigen Preis!

Lo peor fueron los mosquitos y un día que hubo mal olor en la habitación, pero en cuanto lo informamos, nos lo solucionaron con auyentador eléctrico para mosquitos y airearon y desodorizaron la habitación. Muy bueno el recepcionista de la noche y el encargado del desayuno. Bueno también el desayuno. Bien ubicado entre la estación de Santa Maria de la […] Novelle y la Piazza de la Republica. Devamı

Si te interesa bañarte en un espacion de 40x50cm y no poder ni enjabonarte las rodillas! es el hotel adecuado.

Servicen er super, og beliggenheden er god i slentreafstand til centrum og Ponte Vecchio.

La chambre était plutôt grande et bien insonorisée, même si la clim faisait un peu de bruit. Le personnel était globalement sympa et prêt à nous aider. Le wifi ne marchait pas dans la chambre, ce qui était un problème pour nous. Le petit déjeuner est très sommaire. La situation (à 2 pas de la gare) est idéale. Très bon rapport qualité-prix.
