Kisisel hissettim kalis süremi. Rahatti, personel olumlu idi ve Istanbulun kalbinde idim. Sultan Ahmetten tas atabilecek kadar uzakta. Denizin kenarinda olmasada balkonumuzdan göre bilyorduk bagizi ve denizi. Sasirtici sekilde sessiz ve sakindi koca sehrin göbeginde. Bina eski ama iyi barinmis ve tarihten tad veriyordu. This hotel has a lot of problems including: - Poor WiFi services. -Poor air conditioning. -Untrained staff especially at restaurant. .Best General Manager only thing at this hotel.

The hotel was nothing like the pictures... I had to wait almost 6 hours before i get my room... it was a long terrible wait after a 16 hour flight... even though they had rooms available....

Hotel only has a tiny room facing the sea/train tracks and we were offered an alternative room in a nearby hotel (100metres away) of similar standard. Moved back on second day and stayed another 2 days thereafter. Excellent location in a nice neighbourhood. Next to Arasta Bazaar & 10 minutes walk to Sultanahmet tram station. Hotel staff very friendly. […] Drinks and in-house dining about 50% higher than prices in nearby restaurants, of which there are plenty within a 150m radius. Would recommend stay but beware of rooms facing train tracks which has train passing by every 15 minutes till 3am. Devamı

Our biggest complaint had to do with the front desk staff. Prior to arrival, the only help this hotel staff was willing to offer to transfer us from the airport to the hotel was a $35 taxi ride. Then, when we arrived, they attempted to put us in a very small room with 2 twin beds, rather than a queen, and only one tiny window with no "climate control" […] for air "because it is winter." They did move us to a larger room with a queen bed and windows that could be opened, telling us that they were giving us a premium room. I had ordered a queen room! Although the new room was fine, there was only a shower, not a bathtub; the TV did not work; and the local train ran right behind it. Fortunately, we happen to like trains, but the noise would definitely annoy most people. The hotel is conveniently located about 3 blocks from the Blue Mosque in a neighborhood that appears to be "right on the edge." We walked a couple blocks the other direction and we were in a sad looking area. The hotel is also at the bottom of a small hill, so it is a bit difficult for older people to go up to the tourist sites each day. The best part of our stay was the amazing breakfast that was served each morning from 7:30-10am, which included many kinds of foods, both hot and cold. We enjoyed this very much as the local restaurants were expensive and aimed at tourists. Lastly, when we were leaving the front desk staff, once again, was unhelpful. The man at the front desk claimed that he could not make change. He insisted on calling a cab rather than letting us grab one from the street. And the cab charged way too much for a 5 minute ride to the ferry station. All in all, Avicenna and its breakfast was fine if a bit frayed around the edges, but the front desk personnel needs to learn to attend to tourist concerns in a friendlier, more helpful manner. walking distance to major sites, great breakfast, friendly staff.

The hotel was nearly perfect. However, the staff pushes certain restaurants and tour services. They recommended a restaurant to us because it was supposedly a good value, but when we got there, they wanted something like 180 TL for a fish! Ridiculous. This was not a 5-star restaurant. Lovely hotel in a beautiful part of the city. Ideal location - walking distance to sites, cafes, restaurants etc. Breakfasts were delightful. Kind and exceptionally helpful staff. Would recommend it to anyone and will undoubtedly stay there again on our next visit.

Hotelli oli rapistunut vuodessa: -hanat ja suihkusuuttimet irrallaan ja suihkusi minne sattuu -epäkäytännöllinen, ahdas -puuttui bidésuihku -huone pimeä -vaimo sai ruoka-aineesta tukehtumisreaaktion (kirsikkamehssa jotakin kemaa?) Henkilöstö ystävällinen, avulias.

Bildene av rommene på internett samsvarer ikke helt med virkeligheten. Bra service men ikke fire stjerners akkurat, heller 2.

Hotell Avicenna ligger i ideell avstand til de store turistattraksjoner, Hagia Sophia, Tokapi palasset m.v. - d.v.s. gangavstand. Hotellet hadde et o.k. frokostbord - buffet. vi ble tildelt rom i annekset som lå inntil jernbanelinjen og ble følgelig sjenert av støy fra passerende tog både dag og natt. Sengene var noe nedligget. På den ene side var utsikten […] skjemmet av en brannruin som var nærmeste nabo. På den andre siden lå delvis nedraste gamnle falleferdige bygninger. Hotel in ottima posizione quartiere tranquillo di ristoranti e alberghi, vicinissimo a Santa Sofia e alla Moschea Blu. Stanza piccola ma pulita confortevole e con piccolo giardinetto. il personale è gentile, ma il meglio è la colazione a buffet che offre una vasta scelta di dolce e salato.

第一晚入到去櫃台話佢地沒有房比我地住...我地就同佢地講左一大倫先原來佢地同我地開玩笑,入左房之後....我地係訂左三人房既...但我唔知點解佢會比一個雙人房加張床比我...同佢地講佢地又話三人已經比人地用左啦...咁我想問HOTEL.COM你地..我訂三人房黎做咩呢? 換唔到就算啦...但開個冷氣...竟然唔著!!!試問30度以上的天氣能頂到嗎?理倫完一會後..個職員就話第二日會換間房比我地,過左第二日..見到佢地個經理..同佢講完一大倫之後..佢又話今日會有人黎整..所以就唔會換房比我地..我地玩完一日..夜晚返黎..就問佢地個冷氣整成點..點知..佢地未整好..大佬呀..我地已經比你地玩左好多次啦...咁我地就好嬲啦..又同佢地理倫一下...點知有個職員話要報警..我真係呆左...佢地 […] 做錯野仲要報警..真係好笑啦...咁最後都係冇報警到既...咁最後佢地帶左我地去左3間房..我唔明點解佢地帶我地去左兩間一張大床既房先去最後一間雙人房(仲要係我舊房對面)..我真係唔明白係土耳其既特色定係間酒店既人一路都玩緊我地..最後我地就轉左這間房了...這就是我3晚既經歷了 坦白講間酒店外面好靚..但佢地既職員服務真係差..大家訂這間酒店前真係辰三思啦.... quite close to tramway, rooms are nicely decorated, breakfast good, but freshly scueezed juice and omelette has to be paid seperately, inroom coffee and tea has also to be paid, wlan does not work in the room most of the time, friendly staff

Overall I am not satisfied with the hotel. - I booked a room towards the street since some hotel guests before complained that the rooms on the other side towards the tracks are too noisy because of the trains running until midnight. However these rooms seemed to have a balcony and are double the size. - I have had small rooms before, no issue. But […] there was not even close enough space to put half of our clothes in. - When sitting on the toilet you have 15cm space for your legs, since the sink is right in front of you - sweet. - The reception would only help us contact restaurants they would recommend and clearly had a connection to for earning a bit on the side when sending hotel guests there. Also very impolite. - A clean water, juice, tea in the room, eggs at breakfast are all extra charged. Breakfast overall not good from what was offered. - On the positive side - rooms were clean. I asked the hotel to offer us an shuttle service from the airport by sending an e-mail to them directly.For four days,they did not answer,so I sent them an e-mail again. Then they replied,apologized,but asked me to tell the flight number even though I had already told them it.But I wrote it again. When we arrived at the airport,nobody came to pick […] us.So I complained about that at the reception.They excused that they did not know about that because I booked the hotel by Hotels.com. I booked the room by it,but as for the shuttle service, I asked them directly ...As I explained about that,the reception man got irritated and talked over me! Surprising....His attitude made me really unpleasant. Besides that,the hotel was next to the railway.So we could not stay calm at night and in the early morning. hotellet ligger i et meget godt sted, dvs der er alt hvad du behøver i nærheden. rengøringen er ikke særlig godt, selvom der var rengøring hver dag, var der stadig snavs på gulvene. altså man kan ikke sige at der var 100% ren, men man kan leve med det. det var kl 10 hvor vi kom an på hotellet og selvom indtjekningen startede kl 14, skulle vi ikke vente […] til dette tidspunkt, vi fik værelset med det samme plus en kop te, fordi vi var trætte:) personalet var meget hjælpsom. morgenmaden var næsten det samme hele tiden men der var et eller andet nyt hver dag. alt i alt var hotellet meget fint, når man tænker på at det er en tre stjernet hotel. vil gerne anbefale til andre, og når jeg rejser til istanbul igen, skal det være det samme hotel. Nice hotel in the touristique aera of Istanbul (nicely located). The staff was very nice. on the negative side : be carefull because not all the room have a balcony but a lot of them have a view on the trains passing by (which can be a little loud). Location-wise Avicenna is perfect, only a few hundred meters to the major sights and plenty of restaurants and bars nearby. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very nice and stylishly furnished. The downsides: The bed (at last ours) was very uncomfortable and the room was noisy since the train track runs right behind the hotel. Alt gikk bra, bort sett fra treg utsjekking. Generelt er alle veldig interessert i tips, og i å få deg til å betale ekstra for alt, noe som er litt uvant for norske turister. Frokosten var inkludert i oppholdet, men et lite glass juice kostet 25-30 NOK. Vi fikk også hotellet til å ordne med transport til og fra flyplassen, og tur kostet 60 euro for […] fire personer, mens retur kom på 35 euro når vi fortalte at vi heller ville ta en vanlig taxi.. Lydisolasjonen på hotellet var så godt som ikke eksisterende, så jeg lurer på hvordan det hadde vært å bo der i høysesongen. Den "tyrkiske festen" pågikk i rommet ved siden av hotellrommet vårt så det føltes som vi var på festen. Ellers var det et ok hotell, med hyggelig betjening og fine rom. Great place to stay if you look for something close to all places to see in The Old City. Very friendly staff, excellent breakfast every morning. But some noise from trains early in the morning if you have a room towards the seaside. Very nice neighbourhood with some really good restaurants. We'll be back. Ok hotel, good location in Sultanahmet close to i.e the Blue mosque. I expected a little more considering the price. Reception crew ok, not more. Good breakfast though. We had to tell them to cut down on the fresh air spray after cleaning the room - we had to keep our window open for hours.

Das Hotel Avicenna liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe der wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten in Sultanahmed. Leider ist eine Zugstrecke 100m hinter dem Haus. Das stört etwas.

The hotel has a very good location, close to everything. Staff is nice and helpful. But when you book this hotel, dont do like me. I should stay for nine nights and wanted a larger room. For about 15 euros extra I could get a suite! The suits in this hotel is ordinary rooms. Just humbug! So nothing to pay extra for.

hôtel bien situé entre sainte sophie et la mer de marmara; passages de trains non gênants ; chambres propres avec balcon; petit déjeuner correct mais service très impersonnel et accueil peu aimable.
