There is nothing extraordinary about this hotel. Yes, it was comfortable, clean and oceanfront. Things you expect from a beach hotel, but the amenities and service were average. We had a problem with our refrigerator that took 2+ days to repair. Some food spoiled and we were not compensated for our lost. The restaurant was very good. Alantic Resort & Spa is a typical example of "don't judge a book by its cover". The entry & reception areas are of average appearance & not inviting however the quality of our room & the service provided was excellent.

During our recent Sunday trip to Ft. Lauderdale with family and friends, we decided on The Atlantic because of location and price from Hotels.com. The rooms are wonderful here and the location pretty good(within waliking distance to a lot of stuff. There are certainly better hotel pool areas in Ft. Lauderdale beach, but being right across from the ocean […] was nice. We partied at the pool and ran up a $300 tab, so we were there to spend money. After a night out, we retired to our room. Upon discovering that the A/C was not working, we called maintenance. It took around 15 minutes to get service on the unit and were told he was not able to fix the unit. He suggested getting another room. They were prompt in providing other accomodations, but we still had to repack all of our stuff and unpack it in the new room at 11 o'clock pm. Could that be any more inconvenient? Talking with the manager the next morning, we discussed our dissatisfaction and inconvenience. I am not saying he is personally responsible for the broken A/C, but the hotel is. He offered us lunch! Really, lunch? For some reason, I don't feel that they want us back. And we go to Ft. Lauderdale once every couple months. Should we be disappointed in what he considered making it right? Devamı

Position of hotel is ideal for beach lovers. the white sands and blue ocean just across the road. Very clean, the rooms are an excellent size and the kitchenette very useful and well stocked. The Spa is very relaxing and worth a visit. The small pool area is the only down side to this hotel but there are always sunbeds available if slightly cramped. […] the pool itself is a good size and beautifully warm. Most of all this hotel is outstanding for staff friendliness and helpfulness...they are without exception the best !!! nothing is too small a task. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Devamı

Stayed here for our 3rd anniversary... we live in Sunrise but just wanted a nice little getaway for the weekend. Check in was very prompt, room was beautiful, and the view of the ocean was great! We did not eat at the restaurant or order room service as the food was a bit too "gourmet" for us, but the poolside bar had a decent menu. The sandwiches and […] drinks were very good and service was fast. They could have cleaned up the pool deck a little bit better. I saw someone out there skimming an almost perfectly clear pool right at sunrise, but there were empty cups, dirty napkins, and spilled stuff around the lounge chairs when we went out to sunbathe....obviously never picked up from the night before. They were starting to set up for a wedding and reception on the pool deck (5th floor) while we were still out sunbathing, but we didn't mind as we were going to go back in, shower, and go out to dinner. The wedding reception was going full blast when we came back from dinner and the music was pretty loud outside our balcony door until shortly after 10pm, but I guess they honor the "quiet hour" so we could have some peace before going to bed. The housekeeping staff cleaned up our room twice a day instead of just once, but a call to maintenance to fix the showerhead went unanswered. Nothing is very close to the hotel - so if you plan on walking to go drinking or find something to eat, go clubbing - you better put on some comfortable shoes because you will be walking a good distance. What a great way to start off a vacation.Been flying to Key West for 20yrs now and decided to drive down this time so we flew into Fort Lauderdale. The 1st stop was The Atlantic resort and spa. Got in a little early and decided to give an early checkin a try. Drove up to the vatlet and he unpacked the car while we were checking in. Check in was a breaze […] the same person that unloaded the car also escorted us to the room with our bags.The room was fantactic with a great view. Had a couple drinks in the room before going for a walk on the beach and dinner. Checked out the restaurants on the walk and even sat down at the one next door. Decided burgers and fries where not to our liking so we gave the hotel restaurant a try. The second best choice of the day. The meal was one of the best I have ever had. Im setting up my Key West trip for next year and I will be staying with them when I arive and when I depart. Thank you The Atlantic resort and spa for a wonderful start to a much needed vacation. Just stayed overnight for a Holiday Weekend. Room was gorgeous (and very clean), beautiful view, great tv and music system, amazing bathroom, and close to restaurants/ shops/beach. Very good value as well. I'd stay again in a heartbeat.

Had a great time over the New Years weekend. Staff were very friendly and we really felt pampered.

It is a 4 star hotel but upon closer inspection I found scratched/soiled furniture and badly fixed fridge.Usual pitfalls you need to watch out for -in room snacks -5usd for a chocolate bar ! Rip -off parking -28usd per day .Otherwise nice and well located hotel with great views , spa and a pool.

Fantastic hotel just by the waterfront. Friendly staff, and extremely Nice rooms with All amenities. We had a large balcony overlooking the ocean which was wonderful. The only negative thing we Can say is that it would have been Nice to have been in walking distance to Las olas blvd where you find most Of the good restaurants and shopping. however it […] was just a short taxi ride and there were no problems getting a taxi so it is just a very minor thing. This was a great place to stay. Not too crowded and plenty of beach room! Views from Hotel are perfect.We had a ocean from studio. We rented a car but only used to shop and a 1 day trip to Miami, because it was such a great place to stay. Got to enjoy a wedding reception from our room before heading out one evening. The hotel staff went above and beyond the valet called you out by your name instead of sir. the front desk personnel went above and beyond as well as the cleaning staff. I pretty much loved everything I got the one bedroom suite with ocean view spacious everything. ,y only let down was the bath tub. could only fit one person. Stayed 1 night before our cruise and we really enjoyed the hotel with the large deluxe sea view. Service was excellent not to mention at your restaurant , the best rizotto with lobster and sea food I ever tasted Continue your good work

This hotel is lovely - the views from the rooms are amazing - make sure you ask for a high floor to really appreciate the views. I cannot fault the service and cleanliness of the hotel - and the staff are so obliging. The only thing to note is the price of food and drink is very expensive. The menu is very good although not overloaded with choices. […] I do feel that the main restaurant, bar and the pool bar are over priced for what you get. However, this wouldn't put me off going back - I just wouldn't eat there. Also note that 3pm - 5pm is happy hour at the pool bar. This is the best time to fill up on reduced cocktails and snacks. There are some lovely restaurants nearby that are every bit as good and half the price. Devamı

Our stay was over the fourth of July. We had a great view of the Fort Lauderdale fireworks display from our balcony. The spa facilities are very nice and the massages we had were fantastic. We would definately stay at the Atlantic again. It is within walking distance of several restaurants, bars and shopping and only 15 to 20 minutes from the crusie […] piers and airport. Devamı

This is a nice hotel but with some serious flaws. Check in was badly handled, bordering on rude. Pool area a disaster: Really bad service, lots of deferred maintenance. A real toss-up as to whether I'd stay there again.

Had an excellent time! Private beach. Nice hotel and pool. Only minus is the parking spots are too small.

We arrived with smiles and one of the best service hotels we have stayed at. We had just stayed 5 days at Ritz Carleton in Naples and Atlantic's service was as good if not better!!! We would like to mention two people that made our stay wonderful. Jarvis, who was 'in training' did a wonderful job making us feeling welcomed and remembered us each time […] we ran into eachother. We had an oceanfront room. Very spacious (2 sets, little kitchenette, excellent bathroom and shower). Room are very quiet. Hotel is conveniently located. Beach is across the street but not far away (easy to cross). Staff very kind and profesional. Also enjoyed the gym (not that big but with enough Equipment to train adequately). Concierge made excellent […] recommandentions for dinner. Pool is nice but chairs are a bit packed and crowded. Defintely worthed and would come back anytime. Devamı

Beautiful hotel with spacious suite and lovely decor. The restaurant was nice, but the beach across the street was beautiful and just steps from the door. We had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

Could not have asked for a better environment.

Over the years, I have come to love this beautiful, exhilarating hotel and its wonderful staff so much that, among other things, I've had my family and friends there for a few days for my 67th birthday and have asked the manager to let me have hospice there, for real, in the event that I get diagnosed with a fatal illness. The room was absolutely gorgeous (Kingsize suite with partial ocean view), with a fabulous balcony overlooking the ocean and beach (south side of hotel). Full kitchenette and a huge bathroom with bath tub AND walk-in shower. The service was excellent, and the location was great as well. Best hotel to stay in awaiting your cruise. Port Canaveral very close. The best service I've seen in a hotel in a very long time. Beautiful views from your private balcony facing the ocean. Didn't want to leave !!!!!

We have stayed at this hotel three previous times over the last 16 months. We have always loved it. However this time we paid more for a lot less. The room was much smaller then we received in prior visits. It also was not as nice. The carpet was just installed in hallways and was very smelly from glue. The room itself was also not as clean. We got a wonderful oceanfront king room looking down on the pool and the beach. The room was incredibly spacious with kitchenette and and enormous bathroom. If we had stayed here at the beginning of our trip rather than the end, we probably never would have gone anywhere else. I highly recommend the Atlantic Hotel for those who want to be pampered. […] They do have a spa, which we did not use, but as the rest of the facilities were outstanding, I suspect the spa is too. Beautiful ocean front hotel with wonderful views. Lovely room with kitchen amenities. Trina , the restaurant, is a treat. Easy cab ride from the airport and cruise ship port.
