Very nice hotel. Grounds are beautiful. The pier is great. Plenty to do. Beach, mini golf, many pools inside and out. Bring your own beach chairs and beach towels as the hotel does not provide them. You can rent chairs in season. Overall really enjoyed our stay. I would go back. Rooms are bright and very nice.

I booked the hotel with the understanding it was remodeled, but when I checked in they put me in a room with mold hanging from the ceiling. They moved us to an upgrade of the same type room with a larger safe. Not what I expected.

We stayed here for 5 days and actually ended up checking out a day early. Arcade/game room was closed all week. One day it took 3 calls to get clean towels. To list was extremely loud. Neighbors were noisy. Internet connection seldom worked all week. Parking garage was so small to get in and out of. Almost got hit twice.

It was nice , was disappointed that we were in the smaller hotel and on the second floor. When I checked in I asked for the 1st floor because there was no elevator. I told them we had some one with a handicap but when they told us our room number it was on the second floor. Very tough for her to do stairs over and over. The resort is centrally located for all activies in Myrtle Beach. We stayed here because of the fishing pier and free minature golf is a plus too. We loved seeing the planes land at the airport right over our balconey. Having two places to eat is a plus too. Would recommend to any family looking for a place to stay with kids. I had searched on hotels.com and picked this one because it was on the beach, fit my budget, and had decent ratings. I was surprised (maybe by my own fault) that it was multiple buildings and not one hotel, but it was easy enough once I found registration. The fact that it was further down Ocean Blvd was good - away from the spring break ruckus. I was […] put in a smaller building and from the outside, I was super nervous because it was obviously older and there were no elevators, etc. Inside, though, it was clean, the beds were good. I had a great stay just wish the room was a little cleaner and stocked better but overall great place. If I travel back to that area I am going to book this hotel. :)

Check in was quick and easy. Upgraded to a one bedroom. Room is newly renovated and clean! Looking forward to a summer visit to enjoy pier and beach. Weather did not cooperate.

It's a nice resort. We stayed in the middle of February and they are still renovating the resort but our room was outstanding. Very clean with a great view of the ocean. The full sized refrigerator with it's own ice maker was a plus. This resort will be a great place to stay once they finish all the renovations. I can't wait to go back when the weather […] is warmer. Our room was in an area under contruction and we were not told about it when we checked in or told where to park to avoid the construction and still be close to the room. Since we did not know how to reach the room we went through some construction areas that could have been an issue. The room was newly redone and very attractive.

Ok place only. Our lightswitch in the bathroom didn't work half of the time. Wifi Internet didn't work at all. Overall, we would not stay there again.

The only problem I had It was a very cold night the heater ran all night and the room didn't warm to my needs, 62 yr old man. In the am when I wished for a cup of coffee, decaf was all they had!!! That is inhuman .Rm 296 the toilet runs, I had to remove tank top twice to stop it, these are small things to me, I'll be back, Super help from operator in […] setting up my wi fi. Small room with 2 queen, no room for luggage. Aging with renovations ongoing. Most hotel amenities not accessible due to renovation or winter season schedule. Good winter season pricing.

The location was wonderful - the last hotel on the stretch, nestled between the Springmaid pier and Myrtle Beach State Park, with an additional pier. The hotel is just enough far away from the boardwalk area that the crowds are not as solid, but close enough if you want to go to that tourist area. Very conveniently located near the newly developed Market […] Commons area. I have stayed at several hotels in Myrtle Beach and normally complain about the cleanliness and upkeep (unless you are in a 4-5 star property). I would rate the Springmaid at the top of its class and plan to return again in the future. It does have more of an extended stay feel (at least the building we were in did), so you may want to bring your own pool towels. The grounds are spacious and feel safe. Devamı

The only good thing we could find in this room was clean sheets, no one had cleaned this room for a long time. There was a sticky mess all over the floor in front of the small refrigerator, sea shells let from previous guests. The tub need to be scrubs before we could get in. There are many places to stay on Ocean Blvd. and I will give others a try […] ! Devamı

The hotel is under going renovations so it was kind of in disarray. I could tell the tub had been replaced in my room and there was obvious painting and patch work that could have been cleaned up better. The fridge that was in my room was old and didn't seem to be quite cool enough. Over all the room was nice. My room looked to be very clean and maintained. […] My oceanview was great I could hear the surf thru the night. I think once they get the renovations done it will be so much better. Devamı

I appreciate that they have a separate building for their hotel for those who travel with and bring their dogs and that it is conveniently located for taking them to a grassy area and with an enclosed running area. My room within that building was not very clean and had soap missing as well as tolietries. On the other hand the price was not to be beat […] since it was off season rates too. The staff was very nice and helpful. I intend on trying it again and hope the pet building is cleaner next time. Devamı

Over all the hotel was alright nothing fancy.The room was one open room with refrigerator and coffee maker at one end of room with beds at the other end. Bathrooms were a little dated normal wear and tear for a hotel tho.The outside door of the balcony and chairs needed a good cleaning but other than that it was alright. I have stayed in many hotels over the years and this hotel was absolutely disgusting. I do realize that they were doing extensive renovations, but they have a couple different buildings and put me right in the middle of the renovations. The maid pretty much ignored my room and for the most part it was "self serve". I have never asked a hotel for a refund […] or even complained about service and did not in this case either. I would recomend to my fellow Myrtle Beach traveler that there are many, many nicer places to stay from Myrtle Beach to North Myrtle Beach and beyond. Springmaid resort is a dump now and I can only hope that their renovations are extensive. Do NOT stay here. One last thought... YOu will have a great view of the undersides of all the planes departing and landing at the airport as they zoom right over your room.Ugh! Devamı

Springmaid Resort was undergoing rennivation of buildings and pool area. Did not interfere with our stay. Our room was buitiful and any question or problem was taken care of immediately and with a friendly attitude. Great place to stay, we haven't been there in 35 years, but we will return with our family.

This hotel says they did floor to ceiling remodeling. This is a bit of a stretch. The bedding was new looking but the bath, low vanity counter, dented and dirty refrigerator did not make the room feel remodeled. The rest of the room was clean though. The hotel is located in the flight path of the airport so sleeping past 6:40am is not possible. Nice […] oceanfront view, plenty of parking (at this time of year-November) This stretch of beach has horseback riding so waking the beach is a bit of a disappointment. The accommodations were OK. My room was located in the older building. The room was small. I like the refrigerator and the oceanview. I probably will not stay there again.

bathroom is a bit dark, carpet need some cleaning. You need to carry all your luggage to your room as there is no lift available in the part of building where we stayed in. We have a nice view to the pier from our 3rd floor balcony.

My Husband and I spent our first anniversary at Springmaid Resort and we were both very pleased! Our room was on the ground floor as we requested, and it was a corner room, which gave us a little more privacy. We were right on the ocean and the view was great. We were able to take our dog, as Springmaid is very pet friendly, and found the facilities to be great for him too. My friend and I were there to relax and enjoy ourselves, so the place was a good choice. The rooms were clean and tidy, and the resort is close to the Market Common, where we spent a lot of time, other than on the beach relaxing. We were also there during mid-October, so there were not that many people, and we were able to just sit back and relax. I […] enjoyed the access to the beach as well as the view from the room, however the tiles in the shower were not all there, and the room, itself, was kind of muggy. I enjoyed by visit, but because we got a discount through a provider, we did end up in the smaller building which might explain the tile damage. If you want to be close but not in the middle of the crowd this is the hotel for you. It is very family friendly and just far enough away from the crowds to feel like you are at your own private resort, but close enough to enjoy all that Myrtle Beach has to offer. The grounds are absolutely immaculate with their own private beach. The pier was well […] taken care of and the longest pier in the area. The only down side was that the restaurant was not open except for breakfast. The Barnacles food was typical of a small bar, but still OK in a pinch. The breakfast buffet was well worth the money. The omelets were made to order while you waited and were well worth the price of the buffet itself. I would strongly recommend the Springmaid to families or couples. There are great restaurants close by and each room has a full size refrigerator and microwave. There are grocery stores within a few miles. Due to serious health issues we could not travel for four years. After researching hotels on the internet, the Springmaid seemed to be the best offer. We were not disappointed! We had a nice time the pools were a little smaller than I had expected. Overall we like the location and the having the pier right on property was fun. I would not pay for this property at full price--would only stay out of season. The hotel is in the process of up grades--so I would stay there again maybe in a building with an elevator this time. For the most part, our stay was great! However, in our 5 night stay, we failed to receive room service two times. We called front desk and they took care of it within an hour - but, it was somewhat inconvenient. In addition, our neighbors in the next room were up all night, one night, with loud and foul language and music!

I really enjoyed the hotel. Clean and comfortable room. The Barnacles Restaurant was a very fun place to relax, great food. The live music on the pier made my vacation more enjoyable. Only negative was heated pool was cold. Staff was a little rigid with early check in or late check out. Reasonable prices for food and gifts.

From the check-in up to the check-out the staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were extremely clean and all other items were well taken care of. The light weight down blankets were warm and comfortable to sleep under. A great view of the ocean, and the view of the rising sun was wonderful. A tremendous place to stay.

We had a great stay- 4 days and 5 nights. Our room was beach front with a lovely view of the ocean and pier. The room was very clean and attractively furnished, the staff were helpful with a wi-Fi problem and very polite at check in and out. We look forward to our next stay there.

Although this is a family oriented Hotel Resort, I was very happy with how quite a nights' sleep I was able to have here. That is one of my top priorities in whether I'll return to a Hotel or not and I would definitely return to the this Hotel for that one factor alone. I didn't enjoy all of the amenities that are available due to having a bad cold, […] but I'm sure they would have been very enjoyable had I been in better health during my visit. Devamı

I liked everything about the stay except the airplanes that flew overhead that is why it is a 4 instead of 5. I will be staying in the Springmaid resort again. I also like that it was away from the strip, but convenient for shopping and tourism.
