I thought i was getting a clean room hole in blanket carpet out dated must have a clean bathroom WRONG!!!! paperwall peeling stain in ceiling the sink torn inside this hotel would be just a hook up.

I understand that the hotel is being repaired and redecorated, well it needs it badly. The ground floor is suffering especially room 120, which I had to switch out because the shower knob was not on the shower and room 102 tub had been recaulked on top of dirty tile and the tub faucet needs repair. It takes a little time to get it to a point where the […] hot water can come on...it continously turns. The personnel was very nice and kind but there was no mainterance on site to fix things. I stay here every year because it is nicely located in convenience for what I attend each year..However, if the refurbishing has not made it to the first floor by next year, I will not return, and I will check before i book. I hope the hotel is better once the renovations have been completed. It was bad. We thought about sleeping in the car.

This place is terrible. I got a non smoking suite that had cigarette butts on the floor and ashes around the room. The room was dirty when I checked in. The manager was never there everytime I tried to complain. The housekeeper did a poor quick clean up job after I complained and they didn't even let you know the pool was closed down and it looked like […] a construction zone. The breakfast was terrible I couldn't even eat the burnt waffles that was the main course. Overall that place was terrible... I WILL NEVER VISIT AGAIN!!!!! Devamı

This hotel has much to be desired. The caulking in the bathroom was awful and molding, the carpeting in the room was nasty I didn't want to walk on it without my shoes. The hotel seemed rundown, no towels and washcloths were available @ 6:30am.

I will never return to this hotel again. It was dark, dank, kids running up and down the halls all evening knocking on doors and playing loud and NOT one parent or staff stopped them. 2 lousy flat pillws for a KING size bed. It apperas people live there as there 3 school buses out front in the morning blocking the cars in. I should have known something […] when I checked in and there were about 6 kids just hanging out in the foyer. The towels were stained when I took a shower. There was NO wifi but the front desk politely offered me to sit in the lobby and steal wifi from Panera. I reserved the room simply to get away from the daily hassels and stress of my life. I would but I was brought up in a way that if u cant say something nice dont say nothing at all i rest my case

Not really impressed with the hotel it would have been good for those who wanted a one night stand

Nothing to write home about. But the bed was comfortable.

The hotel rate was perfect and the night attendant was very helpful and polite. I called when I thought I would be arriving really late the night I checked in and she was very pleasant and reassured me that everything would be fine. I will stay here again. I read all of the reviews on this hotel and I checked it out for myself.

Nice stay, quiet, clean, friendly employees

Great Hotel ...Great service and was clean and comfortable ...Convenient to Chicagoland Speedway ...and NO traffic ......Definitely will stay here again ....:)

This hotel was pretty good for a 2 night stay, itd be nice to be warned about everything that dont work though and the bed was super uncomfy. They were really nice people though and at 20 years old its hard to find a hotel that will let you check in but they did and it was a pleasent stay. We came to Tinley park to see Kid Rock, the hotel was nice and close to everything. The staff was pleasant. Would stay there again.

We booked this room for two days because we had a family reunion in the area. When i arrived, my mother had already checked in. The room was decent for the price. After i came back to the one night, i had trouble getting in with the room key. I had to go downstairs to the front desk and wait about 10mins because the attendant was no where to be found. […] She reset my card and i could finally settle in to sleep. If you're looking to save money and just need a basic room to sleep in, Americas Best Value Inn and Suites can't be beat. The cost is much less than other hotels and the beds are comfortable to sleep in. This is the place for you if you're into saving money and all you need is the basics. I remember this hotel from when I was a kid. It used to be really nice: nice indoor pool area, well put together rooms. Comfortable. So When we pulled into the parking lot, it looked abandoned. the lights were off and/or really dim and you could see furniture piled into some of the rooms up against the window. The parking lot was almost empty. It was […] really eery and creepy. I went to check in anyway. Surprisingly, The bed was comfortable. The linens were clean. My feet didn't stick to the carpet or the bathroom floor. The staff was friendly and we made it thru the night w/o incident. If your only staying a night, this hotel is fine. If you're going to be in town for a few nights, spend the extra $20 and go somewhere else, at least until they can finish the renovations. :( Devamı

refrigerator needed to be defrosted and mold around seal. Mold in Bathroom Pillows were paper thin. Lighting was very poor. Room smell of mold and smoke. Dusty and peep hole was missing from door.

We came here after a bad thunderstorm and our power went out. I didn't expect a lot from this place considering the price, but I did expect it to look like the photos I saw online and to be clean. Upon entering, the room smelled clean, but when I turned on the lights, there was stains on the wall, the chair was ripped, the toilet seat had a foreign […] object on it, the safe had stains on it, the bed was wobbly and it wasn't made up well. I didn't feel comfortable in this room and didn't feel like I could sleep or shower here, so after 15 minutes I went home to the dark as I felt that was a better option. Devamı

The hotel staff is just wonderful! Friendly and very helpful. There was no iron in my room, took half a day to get it but I did eventually receive one, the king bed didn't really seem like a king bed to me, but, I could be wrong. we had some problems at this particular location. The rooms we requested, were not given to us. We wanted 2 rooms with 2 double beds in each. We were given 2 rooms with a single double bed in it. We were able to get that resolved. But one of the rooms had plumbing problems, the toliet was stopped up and the sink. After talking to the manager, Ms. Spain […] we were then offered a room with a king size bed. We were kinda forced to take this room because there were'nt any other rooms available. The small refridgerators in each room had so much mold and crud around the seal that we were afraid to put our food and beverages in them. We finally got some bleach and cleaned them ourselves. We tried not to complain because we saw that the Inn was being renovated, but some of these problems could have been avoided. We are scheduled to come back to Matteson next year, but I don't think we will come back to your establishment Devamı

I wouild not let my dog stay there. Curb appeal was horrible, had to wait 2 hours to check in, even though the parking lot was empty, except for the weeds and trash. Room had dust 2" thick on the TV and smelled like an old tennis shoe with a sweet blend of cigar smoke mixed in with a slight wiff of ode of full litter box.

We booked the day befor we needed a room and check in was easy and smoothe. All were friendly and occured no problems. Would stay there again. Very reasonable!

This was one of the worst overnight stay I’ve ever experienced in any hotel. Upon entering the room, I noticed the mattress on "both" the beds look like they were about 4 inches thick!! I set on the bed to just to see how comfortable it would be, the bed had "no" support at all and sunk in the middle. Just how comfortable you think that was going to […] be? And this was "both" beds!! Then I discovered the small fridge had some old moldy food left in it. Now how's that for housekeeping? How in the world could have housekeeping possibly missed that? After my discovery, I went to the front desk to complain about what I had found in the room. She quickly apologized and assigned me to another room. Upon entering this room, I quickly noticed the beds were “just” a little thicker than other room. The carpet was badly soiled; there were holes in the walls that were poorly patched up. The beds were a little more comfortable than the others. But they too still sink in the middle. And last but not least! After riding the elevator from floor to floor trying to find a working ice maker because the one on my floor was “out of order”. I finally, once again went to the front desk to ask about getting ice. I was then informed the “only” working ice maker was on the first floor. So in a 4-5 story hotel building, the “only” working ice maker was on the first floor!! Are you serious!! The only good experience I had staying at this hotel was its location. In these had times today, everyone is trying to save money. In attempting to save money I choose this hotel thinking I would get the best for my money. Boy was I wrong!! I now understand the phase “you get what you pay for”!! They call this hotel Americas Best … it’s definitely “not” Americas Best!! I would “not” recommend this hotel to anyone!! At anytime!! For any reason!! We had to switch rooms three times. The first room had ants in it and the second and third rooms had hair. The ice machine didn't work. Cable TV was advertised and there were only 3 channels that worked. The tub was dirty..we had to buy flip flops. The next morning when we went to complain about the room the front desk clerk was not apologetic. The […] carpet had stains and need to be replaced because it was coming up in several locations. I was not very happy with my stay but I was traveling alone and $15 more per night to go someplace else was a lot when all I was using the room for was to sleep. The room seemed clean and the bed was comfortable enough but there were several issues that I was not happy with. Firstly, I discovered that I did not need to use my key to get into the room […] (ie the door wouldn't lock) I reported it in the morning and they said that they would have someone check it but when I came back to the room that evening it still would not lock except by using the security deadbolt and chain on the inside. The shower knob was difficult to get the temperature of water I wanted. It just kept turning and turning. It was really hot or really cold. Finally the "breakfast" was nothing to write home about. Bagels, toaster waffles, donut holes, hard boiled eggs, and cereal (instant oatmeal and cold cereals) was it. There wasn't even any fruit. The orange juice tasted like colored water. I will not stay there again even if I do have to pay more to stay elsewhere. Devamı

I was plesantly surprised by this hotel. Very, very nice hotel for the price. Room was extremely comfortable. Pillows were a dream! Room also had a mini-fridge which was a nice touch. Front desk personnel were very plesant.

good deal for the dollars in this area. would stay there more often if you would fix the swimming pool area and recreation exercise room. use to stay there before you took over the property and the pool was good but needed updating. i'm sure that cost to renovate is an issue but for the area you;re located it would be worth the update. not everyone […] who visits chicago wabts to stay downtown. you have a good location 7 property --just needs a little extra touch touch up. enjoyed the stay Devamı

I chose this hotel because it was close to the amphitheatre and it was the cheapest available. I should have known you get what you pay for. I reserved a king room and was given a double room. The room was surface clean, but had some sort of stains on the walls. The hallways and lobby were very warm and had an odor to them. The continental breakfast […] was ok, but I would have gladly paid for a better quality of selection. Overall the room was less than average.
