Ayasofya, Sultan Ahmet, Topkapı bölgesini gezmek amacıyla ailecek (2 cocuk ile) İstanbul'a gelip Historia'da kaldık. Bahsettiğim yerlere yürüyerek gidebilmek, ayrıca çevrede ev yemekleri yapan lokantaların olması çok büyük bir avantaj. Otel gercekten temiz ve şirin. Personel güleryüzlü ve yardımsever. Nice location - near all the sights. Fairly helpful staff. Good breakfast, clean and nicely decorated. HOWEVER, the site of our family room was truly awful - lower ground floor, overlooking an alleyway full of wheely bins and on top of the railway track. I had specifically requested a room overlooking the sea when I booked, but was advised on arrival […] that this would cost an extra 20 euros a night - for a five night stay, an extra 100 euros would have seen us have better accomodation within the city. Hotel is a neat and tidy personal family owned hotel, situated only 5 minute walk away from the touristical heart of Istanbul.The tramway and ferryboat docks are in walking distance, so it is quite easy to move around the city. I'd warmly recommend this hotel for first timers in Istanbul, because of helpful staff, easy location and general neatness. […] Especially the balcony facing on Marmara sea was a treat. While the scenic balcony is a myth (they've converted it to rooms years ago), this is an utterly lovely, friendly, charming hotel in one of the very best locations to stay in - in Istanbul. they're helpful. Friendly. Warm. The hotel is clean and so well located. This is a must!

The hotel is a small charming hotel in the SultanAhmet area, about 4 mins walk to the Blue Mosque. It isalso close to the Topkapi palace, and the HagiaSophia Museum, and the tram station is a 10-12 mins walk. Around the hotel are numerous food restaurants, and shops. It serves a good breakfast, with a reasonably wide selection, and it has an elevator, […] good when you have heavy bags. I found the room a little small, and the bathtub was a little too high. the hotel location was good. the rooms were clean, small but served there purpose. breakfast was a simple turkish breakfast. if you're looking for a place to dump your stuff and use as a base this place is not too bad.

The hotel is very well located- friendly staff, good breakfast and our room had a balcony and a spectacular view over the Bosphorus. The train runs behind the hotel, but we didn't find that it was a problem. We were there on the weekend, just before Ramadan, and we were entertained by 2 weddings across the tracks fonrom the hotel on the Friday and Saturday […] nights. We stayed three nights at Historia Hotel - it's a great hub for sightseeing as it's in the Sultanahmet area (Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Grand Bazaar - all the touristic things). It's pretty close to a tram station, so you can easily get to the other side of the Golden Horn (Taksim area) where the locals eat, drink, and go out. What a great and memorable stay for our family.Great staff, out of this world hospitality, excellent service.I recommend this hotel to families and individuals traveling to Istanbul.Great restaurants nearby and many attractions like blue mosque and hagia sofia in walking distance. A true 5 star hotel.

My family of three stayed here in the summer. The location was awesome-walking distance to the Blue Mosque, Topkapi palace, grand bazaar etc.. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Our room backed onto the railway but it was quiet none the less. Ask for Bosphorus views! Breakfast was excellent on their terrace. Great value all in all.

Clean, tidy, decent breakfast in pleasant outside courtyard, good aircon. Staff exceptionally helpful and friendly (except for one lady who seemed to have...erm... issues!). Our room was 'town side'. I imagine the rooms that are 'seaside' (ie with view) can get a bit noisy due to the coastal train which starts at around 6am... The outstanding benefit of this hotel is its location, in the heart of the Sultanahmet, but off the noisy main drag, in a quiet corner with lovely buildings of character and charm and close to a huge choice of restaurants. We stayed here for three nights in the Spring. The hotel is reasonably priced, the staff are super friendly, the breakfast is good (little catering for European taste though), the hotel is very clean, and the location is simply as good as it gets. However, it is located beside a train track and the walls/windows are very thin. If you are noise sensitive […] then I would not recommend this hotel for you. If you don't mind the train and hearing your neighbours talking then it provides excellent value. Devamı

We asked for a water view room. However, the water view room not only faces the water but the commuter rail tracks as well. So we had to get used to the train noise.

The hotel staff were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help answer questions with tours, and to help me with transportation. The location, breakfast are also very good. I would stay here again.

The hotel is in a very good location in relation to the main turist attractions. Hotel service is excellent. Rooms are small but clean. A little noisy as there is a railway close by. Overall very good value for money.

The hotel is situated down a cobble street. Very charming quaint little hotel. Beautiful plants and flowers lining the entrance of the hotel. Very welcoming. Like entering your own home. We asked for the typical Turkish dish - the fried aubergines with tomato. The next day it was on the table. He was so eager to provide customer service which is the smartest approach any owner of any business should concentrate on, as i have already told my family & friends back home how happy i was in Historia and now I am writing this genuine review. Pick up from the airport was smooth and efficient. The van was clean, spacious and very comfortable. This is at an extra cost obviously but not more expensive than the ordinary taxi. You will have to request the pickup through an email to the hotel. All in all my trip to Istanbul was great, a trip i will repeat for sure, and I will definitely stay at Historia. There are loads of small boutique hotels around but I would rather stay somewhere i trust & tried than take the chance of trying somewhere new. The hotel reception will help out with tours. I found that a little expensive but definitely worth it. When i asked around, the price for the tours were exactly the same. So this was the standard rate. Lunch was included in the tour. The ferry was interesting taking you from the Asian to the European side. Plus there is a coach trip. Its a must. You can't possibly go everywhere walking and neither do you want to miss anything. Hotellet var lite og koselig... Vi fikk rom 203, som faktisk lå i kjelleren. Der var ingen terrasse og slett ikke noen utsikt. Så vær ops på det. Det var frokost buffe', tyrkisk sådan. Men, selv en tyrker syntes det var dårlig. Internett virket iallefall på rommet.Det var gratis clima og safe med kodelås. Rengjøringen var topp, alt var rent og pent. […] Syntes ikke bønneropene bråkte mest, men toget som passerte og heisen i hotellet. Det var mange koselige restauranter i de gatene rundt om. Vi var på weekendophold i Istanbul, og må sige at det her hotel var alle pengene værd. Super beliggenhed, service og personale. Morgenmaden var ok, men ellers ligger der masser af cafeer og restauranter i nærheden, lige i hjertet af istanbul, med nem adgang til lufthavn, shopping osv!

Charmant petit hôtel très bien situe, a deux pas de la mosquée bleue . La décoration est un peu passée. Mais l'accueil est gentil et serviable. Un bon rapport qualité prix.

Ett litet musigt hotell i trevlig omgivning. Bodde bara en natt på genomresa men var mycket nöjda. Trevliga gamla kvarten direkt när man kommer ut från hotellet. Tyvärr gick järnvägen utanför vårt rum men vi sov gott äöndå hela natten. Mycket fin frukostbuffé och trevlig personal.

Das Hotel liegt ruhig und trotzdem ist man mitten im Sulthanamet Quartier in unmittelbarer Nähe von Hagia Sofia und blauer Moschee. Die Aussicht vom Zimmer ist wunderbar, die Zimmer sind sehr klein! Bedienung und Beratung im Hotel ist perfekt.

when we got in Istanbul early morning from Cappadokia, they got ready a room for us despite of the most busy season.. well positioned,you can go to main famous places within 10min by foot . everything was good throughout our tree-night stay.

Zentral gelegen, Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu Fuß zu erreichen, Tramstation in der Nähe, Personal sehr freundlich, gerne wieder!

Wir als Familie haben uns im Historia sehr wohl gefühlt, obwohl das Familienzimmer SEHR klein war. Die Umgebung ist ideal, um diverse Sehenswürdigkeiten zu besichtigen und auch gut ans öffentliche Verkehrsnetz angeschlossen. Das Hotelpersonal habe ich sehr zuvorkommend erlebt.

Hotel Historia ligger perfekt midt i den gamle bydel, med små brostensbelagte gader, fortovscafeer, vandpibebarer, restauranter og tæt på den blå moske og Hagia Sofia. Personalet var søde og fra værelset og tilhørende terasse hvade vi en enormt smuk udsigt over bospero strædet.

Bodde fyra nätter i maj på Hotell Historia i Istanbul. Gångavstånd till alla sevärdheter vi hade i vår resplan. Hjälpsam och trevlig personal. God frukost. Litet men fräscht rum, stor balkong med utsikt över vattnet. Återvänder gärna. /Mor och dotter från Sverige

Hotellin sijainti on erinomainen - kävelymatka kaikkiin Istanbulin keskeisiin nähtävyyksiin. Alueella paljon viehättäviä pikkuhotelleja ja ravintoloita. Ravintolat tosin tyypillisiä turistiravintoloita, mutta kävelymatkan päässä muitakin. Hotelli on melko vaatimaton ja huoneet kuluneita, mutta hintakin on erittäin kohtuullinen. Vieressä kulkeva junarata […] saattaa häiritä herkkäunisia. Kannattaa maksaa ekstraa merinäköalasta: vaikka parvekkeet antavat nuhjuiselle takapihalle, niin näkymä on varsin kaunis. Mysigt och prisvärt hotell mitt bland Istanbuls sevärdheter. Toppen!

Ligger perfekt placeret i forhold til alle de historiske steder man skal se i Istanbul. Og kun 10-15 minutters spadsertur forbi Den Blå Moske, så er man i den store bazar. Den kan byde på alt hvad hjertet kan begære. Måske uden damesko.... Det findes der dog så rigelig af i den nye bydel på den anden side af Det Gyldne Horn. Very nice tiny hotel with stunning see views from the balcony and extremely helpful stuff. Totally worth the price. Good choice for romantic weekend in Istanbul. Although the bed mattress in 602 was a bit worn out.

Historia hotelli on pieni ja intiimi ja siinä todella on historian havinaa. Palvelu oli erittäin ystävällistä ja avuliasta. Respasta sai aina apua pyydettäessä. Sijainti on nähtävyyksien kannalta erinomainen, mutta jos kammoaa vain turisteille tarkoitettuja ravintoloita ja kauppoja, niin hotelli on keskellä niitä.

Lage: Zentral, bei Hagia Sofia und blauer Moschee. Umgebung: Vorne hübsch, hinten laute Eisenbahn, sonst ruhig. Personal: Sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Zimmer: sauber, eher klein, Wände sehr dünn, also Nachbarn laut, Betten zu hart, bei Ankunft starker Rauchergeruch. Frühstück: Auswahl recht, aber alles, Gemüse, Käse, Aufschnitt, Brot steht vorgeschnitten […] stundenlang ungekühlt herum, also Frische nicht top. Preis: Angemessen. Devamı

Et rimelig hotell med flott beliggenhet ved den blå moske. Ligger nederst i en gate , så du slipper støy fra folk som passerer, men du vekkes av roping fra minareter i 6 tida og av tog som passerer i nærheten fra 7 og utover. Hotellet er litt slitt , frokosten lite å skryte av, men hyggelig personale og beliggenhet veier opp for dette. Anbefales !

Dette hotellet har et hyggelig og serviceorientert personell, og rommet var rent og trivelig, Da vi skulle innom Istanbul på tilbakeveien på vår reise, valgte vi like godt samme hotell. Og det var hyggelig å komme tilbake etter en uke lenger øst. Tilbringertjenesten til og fra flyplassen valgte vi og å benytte oss av ved begge anledninger, og det fungerte […] meget bra. Mulighet for frokost i det fri var og et pluss. Beliggenhet i "gamlebyen" gir gangavstand til mange severdigheter og til trikken som tar en til den moderne delen av byen. Konklusjon etter vår mening er at hotellet absolutt gir "value for money" Devamı

Très bon hotel, excellente situation proche des sites touristiques de la ville (200m de la mosquée bleue !) et à 400m de la station de tramway de sultanahmet. La décoration de la chambre a dépassé nos attentes. Nous avons été agréablement surpris ! Un hôtel que je recommande sans aucune hésitation !
