Relais Villa Savarese - Sorrento

Immaculate villa and grounds - almost a botanic garden! Idyllic pool setting, though too cold when we went. Hostess very welcoming, helpful, speaking perfect English. 10 min walk to Sant Agnello train station for travel to Pompeii, Herculaneum, Sorrento.

About 15 mins walk from Sorrento - not much around the actual hotel itself. Lovely garden and decent pool, the hostess was very accommodating and helpful, I think it's a family run business. Do not catch a cab to the hotel from Sorrento - the one mile trip cost €17.. don't catch cabs anywhere really - drive yourself. From the moment the private gate opens to this Villa you will say "wow"! As you proceed up the walkway amoungst the shrubs and trees the beautiful Villa appears and you are greeted by Angela or one of her pleasant staff members. You will find them all very friendly and helpful during your stay. The rooms are very clean and the one we were in was certainly […] larger than other hotel rooms we visited in Italy. Take your camera for breakfast in the morning as you are going to experience a setting and presentation which will make you feel special as you start your day. What a wonderful suprise when the gates opened and we entered into a wonderful quiet garden leading to a superb, once private, residence. Angelina and her staff were so helpful and made our stay in her home very enjoyable, she even went to the trouble of arranging a hire car for us and lending us umbrellas when it rained one evening. We have stayed […] in many hotels and B&B's in many countries charging much more than this per night and they just do not compare with the Savarese. This small hotel is absolutely beautiful - the staff is gracious and accommodating. In many ways, it is more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Breakfast is served in a gorgeous dining room and the food was excellent. Can't wait for a return visit.

Villa Savarese är en riktig pärla, fantastiskt fint med stil ut i fingerspetsarna, men ändå familjärt. Servicen var förstklassig och föreståndarinnan personifierar hotellet med sin stil och servicekänsla. Poolområdet är underbart, och eftersom det är ett sådant litet hotell (typ 10 rum totalt) behöver man aldrig trängas - inte sällan är man ensamma […] vid poolen. Vi bodde i det billigaste dubbelrummet (Classic Room), mycket prisvärt med hög standard, på första våning med utsikt över poolområdet och ett vackert marmorbadrum med fräsch dusch och toalett. Bra "kontintental" frukostbuffé för att vara Italien. Hotellet ligger en bit in från vägen, vilket gör att det tillsammans med den underbara trädgården upplevs som en liten oas, väldigt lugnt, insynsskyddat och ostört. Området Sankt Agnello är vackert och hotellet ligger endast ett par minuters gångavstånd från havet. Sorrentos enligt vår mening bästa restaurang, Coku, ligger på klippan utmed havet i slutet på samma gata som Villa Savarese, underbart ställe med spännande mat. Till Sorrento City är det en bit att gå till fots, vi gjorde det någon gång och det tog ca 15-20 min, men sedan blev det buss (hållplats en minuts promenad från hotellet) eller taxi. Men det finns bra mycket bra service- och restaurangutbud även i Sankt Agnello. Sammanfattningsvis ett fantastiskt hotell, en riktig pärla som varmt rekommenderas om man uppskattar något genuint, romantiskt och personligt med hög klass. Devamı

Detta är inget hotell utan som namnet antyder en villa. Rummen är fräscha och ägarna och personalen är mycket hjälpsamma.
