Hotel was well located. Doreen at the front desk was very helpful and kind. Rooms were spacious by European standards. Work out room was nice. Breakfast was good with lots of choices. Beds could be updated/more comfy. Very firm mattresses.

Okay, I'll admit it - I'm not a fan of the Termini area and much prefer the historic district, but this recent trip had me traveling early morning on a major holiday to the airport. Due to my concern about finding a cab in the early morning (couldn't book a shuttle due to the holiday), I decided to book a termini hotel to be near the train station. […] Wow, am I glad I found the Diocleziano. It was fantastic. The room and bathroom were great in size (there were two of us and even with our luggage we weren't bumping into each other), and very clean. This is an excellent choice for those who want to be near the train station in Rome. It is a two minute walk from Terminii to the hotel. The hotel itself is quite nice; large rooms for Italy and baths much like those in the US. Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff with readily available English speakers.

Was great staff and very helpful when we lost luggage. Electricity was off for a length of time but nobody was freezing lol they give us candles and drinks on the house and lots of laughs. Excellent morning buffet with hot and cold food. Good location friendly staff. Highly recommend

Good price, good location, great service. What else can you ask for ? This hotel is situated in a quiet ( but not remote ) part of Rome, near the Termini train station. But there are still a lot of restaurants and stores in the area.The staff were very friendly, ready to assist in any requirement that you may have ( from getting directions, Rome information […] and getting a taxi ) . The rooms were very clean and well heated. Breakfast is good and the breakfast attendants were very attentive and helpful. And most importantly, it is not expensive. Termini is just a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel, and from there you can access the Metro to go see the sights of Rome and then there are the trains to reach all of Italy or Europe. From Termini, we were able to reach Venice via the TrenItalia Frecciargento Bullet Train, we took the first train (0655 AM) and we arrived in Venice by (1030), spent a whole day in Venice and took the return train the same day for an 1100 PM arrival back to Termini and were back in our warm hotel beds in 5 minutes. This is one clean, (big room 405) hotel with maybe 33~ rooms. The front desk was very helpful. Only one small issue, internet, was painfully slow. Maybe because I was using Macbook and iPhone (according to the front desk that they've heard the issues with using Mac products accessing their internet). I would suggest getting €20 for 2Gig data plan, […] 3G speed pre-paid phone service and tethering the internet (which, in my case, faster than internet provided). However, internet service was free, so can't complain. Overall, maybe it's low season (12/13/2012~12/16/2012), the price paid was very reasonable. It took us: less than 10 minutes walk from hotel to train station. About 25 minutes~ slow walk from Spanish Steps, or Trevi Fountain. less than 5 minutes walk to Metro, which you can take the Metro to Vatican, Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Colosseo, Foro di Roma etc...... This hotel is situated at the location which would be easy to walk or get to the public transportation. Oh, the mini bars (drinks, cookies) is free, and they refill everyday! Small rooms, probably too small for families on vacation, but very nice staff. Helpfulness seems to be a philosophy here, which makes up for being away from home. The hotel is tucked away on a small quiet street ,yet just 1 block from the main train depot in Rome. We were given a large comfortable room, (though the mattress was quite hard) with a huge balcony to enjoy our morning coffee. Though not showing as having parking available - we were able to find on street parking within 1/2 block every night. Entire staff very friendly, courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good. We enjoyed our 4-night stay at the Diocleziano. The staff were friendly and helpful and our room was large and clean. We were pleased with the quantity and quality of the breakfast. The hotel was also well located for the Metro at Termini. Two points that only very slightly took the shine off the stay were the rather noisy plumbing which meant we had […] a 'knocking' noise on the wall of our room when the room above used the bathroom - this was loud enough to wake us during the night. Hotel is only five minute walk from Termini/Shuttle bus stop. Staff at hotel could not have done any more for us. They were extremely polite and helpful. Water in shower was cold if not up early but this was rectify with a wee note in a service box at entrance. I would definitely stay there again

We came to Rome on honeymoon, our first time visiting. The hotel was superb and can not fault it. Ideal location, 5 minute walk to Termini station. The hotel is situated on a quiet street with easy access to everywhere in Rome. We will definitely be recommending this to our family and friends. Ten out of ten.

The staff at this hotel is wonderful. Everyone was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The location, near the train station, was very convenient. There were busses right around the corner and restaurants within a short walking distance. It was so nice that the mini bar was complimentary and restocked daily with juices, […] soda and water. Our stay at Hotel Diocleziano was excellent! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms! The hotel common areas, the breakfast area and the room itself were very, very clean and the staff was so friendly. The hotel is conveniently located by the Termini station which made it very easy to get to from the airport. It is located near all […] the tourist attractions so getting around on foot wasn't a problem, just be sure to wear comfy shoes - high heels not recommended unless you're travelling by taxi. Hotel situated in quiet street just off the main Termini. Close to buses, trains and metro. Hotel staff speak English and are really friendly and helpful. Room comes with complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Complimentary cold drinks in the fridge and toiletries in the bathroom. All replaced daily. The staff at the Hotel were outstanding, courteous, very helpful, spoke English which was a great help. The morning Breakfast was fantastic, more food than you could ever want. Fresh fruit, eggs, bacon, pastries, cereal, all kinds of breads, meats, tomatoes, coffees made to order, juices, fresh squeezed orange juice. I can go on, but you get the picture. […] The ladies helping us were so polite. Location is awesome. Right next to the Termini, and the Metro, where both Blue and Red lines come. You can go anywhere in Rome from this location. Quiet city street at night. Rooms were very comfortable, great Air Conditioning. They had a neat gym, three computers for you to stay on top of emails. Free daily newspaper to read. They can make any arrange for tours, you desire. I would go here in a minute. Tables were always kept clean, the floor you could eat off. In addition to nice rooms, there is free Wi-Fi and a very nice breakfast included. I only gave it 3 for upkeep because the elevator was broken when we were there. I had the expectation that the location would be convenient due to the previous reviews, but I didn't realize how nice the place was overall. The staff was very helpful with recommendations & best ways to get around the city. Only improvement needed is with boarding pass printing...no printer available so boarding passes need to be emailed to front desk and then printed. We have just stayed at the hotel for 4 nights, choosing it mainly on the basis of its reveiws. We were not disappointed. The Hotel staff were excellent, meeting us with a friendly welcome. We had a superior room, which was spotlessly clean, with complimentary soft drinks waiting in the fridge. The staff were happy to recommend local restaurants which […] were all excellent and good value for money.They also helped us to print off boarding passes for our return flight. The breakfast staff were very welcoming, making sure they spoke to each guest as they arrived, and as they left the dining room. There was a wide choice of fresh breakfast foods to suit any taste. We found the hotels' position, near to the station very convenient, and as it was on a side street away from the main road, it was very quiet for sleeping at night. The staff wre absolutley wonderful, a lady we were travelling with unfortunately had taken a fall & broke her ankle. The hotel staff did a fantastic job comforting her, getting her to & from the hospital & ultimately to the airport. We were totally happy staying at this hotel & would recommend it to anyone.

A perfect location for access to the train station for those that need to arrive and depart (about 5 minute walk). We loved this hotel and would highly recommend it to others. The location is fantastic--- within walking distance to everything we wanted to see. The staff is wonderfully helpful. The rooftop patio on the 4th floor is a lovely place to have breakfast in the morning or share a bottle of wine in the evening.

First, rooms were amazing, location is superb - within 5 min walk to the termini station and there is a central bus stop too where all the buses going to prime locations arrive. In coming to an unfamiliar city, it is vital to have access to staff who are willing and enthusiastic to help every concern the guest might have. As a guest, I checked in with […] my mom and cousin. My mom has issues with her legs and therefore sometimes needs special assistance. As soon as I arrived, we realized that my mom can't use the standard tub that was offered. Immediately, the staff changed her room which had a shower room. There are no elevators in termini station and we were worried that my mom couldn't use the trenitalia train going to venice and tickets were pre-purchased! We spoke to the desk service and he assured us while patiently addressing every question and scenario for which we had concerns. This made our whole trip so relaxing. FInally, the money exchange is offered at a very good rate. The hotel lobby doesn't charge commission. We bought the hop on hop off sightseeing tickets at the desk. The front desk also made reservations for us at a restaurant!!! What else can one ask for??? I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a non-hassle enjoyable accommodation. Devamı

Hotel Diocleziano is perfectly located near the Termini Metro/Bus station. From there, you can get anywhere in Rome. The hotel staff is very helpful as they assisted us in planning our day trips by marking a map with locagtions to visit and how to get there! Hotel staff is fluent in English. In Europe, space is scarce, so although the room is small, […] it had a king bed, TV, closet, safe, two windows that you can actually open. The bathroom has a bidet and an enclosed tub/shower. The Free breakfast is wonderful! We had our cafe lattes daily to help us start a long day of walking and site seeing!
