The hotel is clean and convenient to the train station, but we were hoping that our last night would be a little more romantic, given that it was a 4 star hotel. Our room facing the inner courtyard (where we could hear kitchen clean up until late) was definitely not one of the rooms that advertised as originally selling for $700+/night. In general the hotel was OK, with the exception of the restaurant, where my wife was treated badly when she made a complaint regarding the quality of the food. So much for customers rights.

The hotel was very nice. The rooms were large and comfortable. The staff were nice. They weren't very engaging but I didn't mind that too much. I would have minded if they were horrible, which they weren't. The only downside to this hotel was that we paid approx €109/night and that didn't include a breakfast. The price purely reflects the location of […] the hotel. Right beside the Termini and within a short walk to some of the main attractions (Colosseum,Roman Forum, etc.). The Hotel was in the perfect spot to explore Rome. The only problem was we had requested twin rooms and they were all set up as doubles. We were given sheets to convert 4 rooms but two rooms could not be converted due to the type of bed.

Do not get the suite on 6th floor, it is basically an attic. Ventilation does not work in toilet. No body lotion, conditioner, no closet. Cleanliness and location ok. No smiles from the staff at all. Great location, everything in Rome within walking distance and If not a fan of walking its about 45 second walk to the metro station which can transport you around Rome. Staff were friendly and hotel was clean, would consider stopping here again in the future

We went to Rome to celebrate our anniversary and I can safely say that this was the worst possible hotel where we could celebrate. The location is great. All attractions are closeby. But the hotel staff and service is bad. Upon arrival, we were not greeted but grunted at the reception. The room was small and nothing like the pictures on the website. […] There is no wifi in the rooms as advertised. We were told that there is a cable that you need to plug into your laptop! Who carries laptops these days? Its tablets and phones. The reception told us that wifi is only available at the restaurant/bar. We tried having dinner there one night - there was no wifi. When asked at the reception they said it works only in the breakfast room!!! The service at the restaurant was even worse. We had to go to the waitress to order dinner and drinks as she was the only staff working. Imagine getting up each time you wish to order a course. And the worst was this guy banging away at his keyboard croaking songs from the 80's! Breakfast each day was awaiting game - when will the staff ask us for coffee and tea. After asking, they would serve beverages after 30 mins of finishing breakfast. You will be better off staying further away from the attractions just to receive better service. Devamı

Good location just 1 block away from Roma Termini. Very clean bathrooms. Breakfast just OK (could be better) not very good coffee. It seems that it was a hospital and something like that before. Basic minimum furniture for hallways and rooms. No safes in the rooms. Not very responsive when asking for service or help. Probably due to the lack of furniture […] but you can hear everything inside or outside the rooms. It looks very clean but we found hair (which was not ours) in our bed. Great hotel in a great location (5 mins from Termini station). Staff were very welcoming and gave us free dinner and prosecco of our first night. Breakfast was better than expected and lots of choice, cereal, fruit, pastries plus bacon, eggs, toast etc Our stay would have been improved with wifi in our room as we took an ipad with us, but otherwise […] everything else was first class and we would definitely recommend this hotel Devamı

this is a charming hoptel with period features and is just a short walk from the Termini Station. When we arrived we were given a complimentary 3 course meal in the Hotel's excellent restuarant which was delicious and most welcome. Rooms are spotless and although the bath(shower)rooms are small, they are functional. Breakfast selection has both a hot […] and cold selection and although it doesn't vary, it is more than adequate although they have one of those infernal toast machines that either undercooks or burns the toast. Stayed at the Welcome Piram Hotel in Rome over new year's. This hotel is conveniently located for walking trips to downtown Rome. It is also close to the Metro, Bus and Rail. It is an old building, fairly kept and very clean. Our room was small with a no so comfortable bed and a newly added bathroom that took space from it. It is quite Ok for spending […] the entire day visiting sites and sleeping at night, but if you want to stay and watch TV or work, it may be difficult. The TV has a very limited selection and the internet access is only with a wire. The included breakfast had a very limited selection of real food. Lots of sweets and lukewarm eggs, bacon and pancakes. It is Ok as a "free" breakfast but not more than that. Service overall was very good, the people at the front desk were always friendly and in some cases had limited English, but not bad enough to prevent you from doing anything. Another couple of tips: If you arrive by air, you can take a bus or train to Termini Station, from there to the hotel is just two blocks and you do not need a taxi or anything else. Taking the bus back (if leaving early for the airport# or the train #if later) would save you a bundle as the taxis or car service to the airport are very expensive. As with everything in Rome, take care of yourself and be aware of your surroundings. We were warned about it at all times but we felt safe and had no incidents during our week there. Devamı

The star rating of the hotel is not correct by US stardards or really any standards. The pros: good location, near Termini station and most tourist attractions, affordable for Europe prices, breakfast. The cons: even though affordable compared to others you dont get much for your money. We had a triple room with a double bed and a single. It was very […] small. The double was essentially two twin bed pushed together. The bathroom was ok, it would have been better if the shower didnt back up. The bedding was old and minimal, mattress was not plushy. We knew booking this we were not getting a luxury hotel since most of the time we would spent around the city and this would be just a place to sleep so I cant complain too much. The hotel is conveniently located close to Termini station, but it's not a 4-star hotel. Also, if you value internet connection beware that their advertised "free wi-fi" is very slow and free for only for 30 minutes per day, you'll have to pay if you need more... this was a bummer.

We had chosen to reserve our four night stay at the Welcome Piram Hotel because it is located within two blocks of the train and bus station service, the elevator which is an absolute necessary and the publicized hotel four stars rating. The staff was all friendly and the English breakfast was well worth getting.

The staff in hotel was excellent and very helpful in terms of ur needs. The hotel itself was unique there wasn't water boiling castle in the room but u can get if u request. My opinion is positive about the hotel. Cheers, Kuldeep

If this a 4 star hotel I'm the queen of Sheba! The staff were very friendly & helpful. They all spoke good English. The breakfast was o.k. The best thing about this hotel is it's position. It is a 2 minute walk from the bus/metro/tram station.

Pros- Good value and close proximity to the metro station and walking distance to most tourist attractions, staff friendly and helpful. Plus voucher given at reception for two free drink and 15 euro off a meal in the hotel, which was a nice bonus. The bedroom was well presented, clean and spacious, we where lucky enough to have a corner room with two […] large windows and the high ceiling which gave the illusion of much larger room. Cons-Recieved a 20 euro gift voucher with the booking for use in the spa, the spa voucher was only redeemable Mon-Fri. This wasnt made clear during check-in and couldnt be claimed. The hotel also advertised rooftop facilities i.e bar & hot-tubs, however on asking at reception we where told it was closed at "this time of year". Also there was no wifi within the rooms, only in the reception. Would recommend the Welcome Piram for a budget driven holiday but if your budget can stretch and your looking for a hotel in the same location the Boscolo Exedra Roma which was 2mins walk from our location looked fantastic. Close to termini station and about 15 mins walking distance to piazza navona.. We killed a bug one night in the room.. So if you are sensitive about that stuff you may want to consider other options. And also there are no carpets in rooms..

We were moved three times in 4 nights because something was always wrong with the room. In one room the electricity stopped working. In the other the toilet wouldn't flush. The staff was very unsupportive. There is no concept of room service. Even to get blankets (not provided in the room) we were asked to come down to the reception to collect it ourselves. Lobby is nice but slips from there. Put us on the alley and we heard breaking bottles and local restaurant clean up much of the night and then trucks and carts reprovisioning early. Tiny single beds and charges for every little thing. The ad says free wi-fi but that is only 30 minutes of free in the lobby, then pay. Charged more for the local tax than […] we were told and than the other place we stayed; a bit fishy. Nice staff that you hear politley listening to complaint after complaint as you are in the lobby. When we arrived in our room there were flies inside because the window as left open so my husband and i were driving them away.This hotel is in a very good location close to Termini station, train and metro. The Indian guy at night is very willing to help. He gave us suggestions what to do and where to go not like the lady at day time that I asked how […] to dial outside. She told me "dial 0 then the phone no. I tried but it didn't work so I went to the front desk and I asked her again. She said to me, Madame I told you" (upset by the tone of her voice) she marked the numbers. When i asked about the tour she said she's busy. It's like she doesn't care. Great location, right next to the Termini and within walking distance to all major sites. Overall clean room. Room could use a second chair to sit on. Breakfast buffet not that great. Canned fruits, juice punches, stale croissants and tasteless eggs.

Hotel staff were helpful. Airconditioner worked but was so noisy it was difficult to sleep. Surrounding area is not safe, some female guests were threatened - would not recommend walking around after 7pm.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Rome (first time there) and booked Hotel Termi. Upon arrival at the hotel, we were told by an intercom (no one bothered to open the doors) that we are now re-directed to another hotel. It was raining and I had recently strained my back, however we took our luggages and proceeded to the other hotel named Welcome […] Piram Hotel. Once there the staff advised us that there were no rooms available at hotel Termi and we should go to ANOTHER recommended hotel. My husband and I were very frustrated. We were advised to take our luggage and walk to the other hotel which they claimed was nearby, however my husband told me to stay while he walked to see the hotel. Once he checked it out he said that the 3rd hotel is not near at all, especially in the rain and my sore back. We are extremely frustrated with the run-around by Welcome Piram Hotel (associated with Hotel Termi). We chose to stay at Welcome Piram Hotel for double the price. The worse factor is not only the treatment we received as if we were cattle to be bounced from place to place, but the lack of compassion by the staff. Also as a side-note: the claim that this hotel provides free wifi is misleading as the catch is they only provide 30mins per day which can only be accessible from the main lobby (if you are lucky to get good connection). If looking for a quiet and soft bed this is not the place. Otherwise the location and the access to trains and busses as well as a very professional and pleasant staff. Like Rome be ready to climb steps, one set to the elevator and the Restaurant. Breakfast not bad but better restaurants near by or a train ride away Sante Anne raviolee excellent.

My husband and I stayed at Hotel Piram for two nights. It is close to everything - the Trevi Fountain, the Basilica of Maggiore, the Piazza of Republica, and for convenience, the train and bus terminal and Avis car rental. The staff was very helpful, polite, and efficient. The room was decorated beautifully and it was spacious. The rooftop bar and pool […] was charming and romantic. Location was great, staircases lovely. Even some aspects of the room itself were ok. The biggest issue was the bathroom, which was one continuous bathroom stall with the toilet. Even with a "curtain" for the shower, the water goes all over the floor, never drains (floor isn't slanted towards drain), so just sits there until the next day when the cleaning […] service comes. We asked for early cleaning and they wouldn't do it. So any time you want to use the toilet or the sink you have to slosh through an inch of water. Very spacious room in a great location. We tend to use our feet for getting around Rome and the subway for longer distances and this hotel is perfectly located for both. The staff were very friendly and attentive. We did not include breakfast in our rate, but we did have it on one day and it was fine and good value if you compare it to prices in Rome […] for any type of refreshment. Hotel is okay but service is bad. Staff have no customer service skills, always looks miserable not a smile or good morning to guests except for one person. Breakfast in the restaurant was very good. Definitely, need to train staff in customer relatoins and politeness. The overall atmosphere was that you need their services they don't need yours.

The hotel frontage wasn't quite what I envisaged from the picture shown. However once inside, there's a pleasant reception with antique furnishings and plants. At the desk the staff have adequate English. The young gentleman being especially helpful and humorous with personal advice and help. Bedrooms have a card type key -you usefully keep during the […] stay. We had the economy double. Due to its mainly brown upholstery and the fact that the curtains were closed, (hiding the view of the exterior walls outside!), it was somewhat gloomy, but on the positive side was the antique furniture, was very quiet, good air conditioning, and room neat & clean each day. Although narrow the bathroom was adequate -plentiful hot water for the shower. We didn't breakfast at the hotel, (many eateries nearby for coffee & croissant), but can recommend the hotel's restaurant. A good menu eaten outside or in, not cheap -nowhere is in Rome! The bar & restaurant is served by two charming young girls who deserve a mention- service and friendliness to us. A plus-point of this hotel is the roof terrace (which perhaps helps give the 4 star rating). Nice to relax there early evening,(after plodding the sights). There's also a sun deck with super view, and two inviting looking jacuzzis spotlessly clean. Last but not least we realised that though the Piram's situation is urban, it is of help to be so close to the terminal for bus, taxi, train, cafes tourist buses and restaurants. Hotel recommended. Hot tub was closed for "weather" but it was great hot tub weather and we chose this hotel because we thought it would be fun to view the city from the roof. My advice- stay instead at a hotel near the Spanish steps. There is an easy subway stop there and it is a much nicer neighborhood with restaurants, etc.
