Hotel Plinius - Como

The hotel was comfortable, the breakfast was very good and the staff was friendly, helpful and accommodating. Location of the hotel was very convenient. Close to so many shops and restaurants, very close to the train station, the funicular, and most important, Lake Como.

A very nice small clean hotel in the center of Como. All facilities are very clean, breakfast is excellent. There were only 2 minor issues - Wifi was not working (router problem seems to be an Italian tradition) and parking during the day (1.5EUR per Hr 8AM - 8PM, nights free ). Nice hotel, lots of things were newly update, but in dire need of new beds. Really bad.

Close to everything, 5 mins to Duomo, 5 mins to Lake. A bit difficult to find parking but we managed. Once there, no need to drive, everything is accessible on foot. Spacious triple room, great shower/bathroom. Clean and comfortable. A bit loud at night from street noise. Enjoyed Como so much, we booked a second night.

I have stayed in 27 hotels in the past 4 months traveling in Europe and this is one of the most comfortable.

Good location, good price, very clean. Would stay there again.

Hotel Plinius makes a great change from the big chain business hotels, still offering all you need. The staff was friendly and helpful. Not a bad choice for a holiday hotel.

I can't say enough about the people in this place. They were wonderful. The breakfast was very good, and the rooms were quite clean. It's an excellent value especially considering the location. It is close to everything in Como and midway between the two main train stations. The Duomo is 5 minutes in one direction, and the lake is 5 minutes in another […] direction. It is nice and good value for money. The only downside was the noise from the street as the windows were not double glazed.

Close to Lake Como, don't need to drive after arrival,lots of good restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were very friendly, hotel very clean and comfortable.

This is one of the cheaper hotels in Como. Although the rooms are small, it is conveniently located and the staff members were friendly.

The hotel was central, it was clean and had great air conditioning. I couldn't fault the hotel in any way. I thought it was excellent value for money.

清潔で新しく、田舎なのによく考えられたホテル。価格も妥当、朝食も合格点。中心に近く、駅からも徒歩圏内。唯一の難点はWiFi有料なことぐらい。

Hotellet ligger väldigt bra i centrala Como. Avståndet till krogar, restauranger och sevärdheter är minimalt. Rummet vi bodde i var väldigt litet. Sängen var väldigt hård och en extra kudde rekommenderas. Annars var rummet och toaletten fräscha och välstädade. Frukosten och servicen var helt ok! Ett bar hotell för ett bra pris. Rekommenderas!

Das Hotel ist super zentral! Shops, Markt und gute Restaurants sind gleich um die Ecke. Uns hat es gefallen.

Das Hotel Plinius ist sehr modern und sauber. Es liegt mitten in der Stadt und in der Nähe des Sees. Das Frühstück ist gut, jedoch etwas bescheiden. Ich würde sofort wieder in dieses Hotel!

Schön im Zentrum, nur etwas schwierig einen Parkplatz zu finden.

Hotel Plinius is centrally located in Como. Very close to the harbour area, surrounded by many restaurants and shops. Walking distance to train station and most facilities. Rooms newly renovated with nice bathrooms. Professional staff. Recommended!!

Hotel ziet er netjes uit, kamers zijn goed verzorgd, vriendelijke en Engelssprekend personeel. Geschikt als doorreishotel, maar ook voor wat langer verblijf (kamer en badkamer zijn redelijk groot). Ontbijt was in orde, voldoende keuze. Twee minpunten: - weinig parkeerplaats direct bij het hotel (200m verderop is plaats) - airco werkte niet

Hotel is erg verouderd. Ligging is ok, dicht bij het centrum. Goed voor 1 overnachting.

Wirklich schön gemachtes Hotel im Zentrum der Altstadt. <10min. zu Fuss vom Bahnhof, sehr freundliches Personal

Hôtel bien tenu, confortable. Chambre propre et calme. Petit déjeuner insuffisant , personnel peu avenant.

Preiswertes und schmückes Hotel, wenige Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum entfernt. Würde ich sofort wieder buchen.

I was happy with me stay. The hotel was good and had the sufficient standard, simple but clean and nice. It is very centrally situated. I will go back.

Das Hotel sieht von aussen eher vernachlässigt aus. Im Innern stimmt aber alles. Die Lage ist absolut zentral, d.h. ideal zum shoppen. Gute Preis Leistung. Wir kommen wieder

Das Hotel Plinius ist sehr zentral gelegen. Das Personal ist durchwegs freundlich und kompetent. Die Zimmer sind eifach und sehr sauber.

Ein kleines, aber sehr gepflegtes Haus. Zimmer klein, aber funktional und liebevoll eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Zentral gelegen; gut vom Bahnhof aus erreichbar. Einziges Manko: viel zu warm! Die Zimmertemperatur liess sich nur durch offenes Fenster regulieren. L'hotel Plinius sito nel centro di Como è sicuramente un ottimo punto d'appoggio per la visita del lago e delle zone limitrofe. Le stanze sono pulite, ordinate e mediamente grandi. La colazione continentale è molto ricca ed è servita nell'elegante contesto della zona bar ! Hotel pulito, silenzioso, personale gentile. Posizione ottima, centralissima, comoda, per di più vicino alla stazione e all'imbarco dei traghetti turistici. Abbiamo passato tre giorni a dicembre, tutto perfetto.

Im Hotel Plinius wahr das Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Zimmer sind nicht zu gross, aber sauber. Frühstücksbuffet sehr gut. Das Hotel liegt mitten im Historischen Teil von Como.

Hotel centrale (giusto all'angolo della centralissima Pzza Volta). Camere spaziose, arredi moderni e pulizia della camera e bagno impeccabili. Sarebbe stato un hotel da massimo dei voti se non fosse per il rumore terrificante proveniente dalla strada. Impossibile dormire tra i clacson e le urla dei frequentatori del bar di fronte... Le finestre non […] facevano assolutamente da filtro e pur avendo una stanza al 4 piano mi sembrava di essere direttamente in mezzo alla strada. Die Fenster lassen sich nicht öffnen Storen der Fenster war nicht bewegbar. Türe war undicht (Durchzug) Service beim Frühstück unpersönlich

Frisch renoviert, kleine aber sehr saubere und zweckmäßige Zimmer.Nettes Ambiente. Sehr gute Klimaanlage. Personal freundlich. Leider zu wenig Parkplätze am Haus. Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel um im Zentrum von Como zu wohnen.

Das Hotel ist frisch renoviert, zweckmässig und geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Das Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend. Frühstück ist reichlich und qualitativ sehr gut. Das Zentrum von Como ist nachts lärmig. Es ist nicht der Verkehr, denn das Hotel liegt in einer Nebengasse. Es sind die Menschen, die grölend und lärmend durch die Gassen ziehen. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel, das Zimmer war sehr sauber, groß und klimatisiert (es war in Como sehr heiß). Das Frühstücksbuffet für war zwar einfach aber lecker, sehr guter Kaffee. Das Personal hat sich sehr bemüht, Wohlfühlfaktor. Außerdem liegt das Hotel sehr zentral.
