Argos Hotel - Ibiza

Lovely hotel, great views from rooms, and only 15mins from airport via Taxi and about 30mins into the old town via a lovely and safe promonade. Would def recommend this hotel. Staff were great and very helpful, and food was excellent too,

The location was good for me. Away from Ibiza town but close enough to walk. Internet access is only via coin operated computers in the lobby, which was in convenient, fees for using the safe in the room, deposits for beach towel usage etc.

This was our first trip to Ibiza and staying at the Argos Hotel turned out to be the perfect choice for my wife and I. The guests were truly international and varied in age from young women in a hen party with the bride-to-be, to us, an older couple celebrating a wedding anniversary. The location of the hotel is perfect if you are looking for a beach […] at your door-step, a clean and somewhat quiet beach, a good nights sleep, and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Cheap amenities, not even facial tissue. Thread bare towels. Very dated room. Noise from rooms above and to sides. Unfriendly staff. Poor internet connection. Need to call and wait for taxi. Decent breakfast however. This is not 4 star quality. More like overpriced 2 star. I do not recommend.

The location of this hotel is great and the rooms are clean and sufficient for somewhere to lay your head. The pillows however are very uncomfortable, the breakfast is pretty dire (definately not targeted at the UK Market, lots of strange looking cold meats) and we were put in a room next to a room that was being redecorated so we had drilling every […] morning. A nice hotel, just about a 4*, with very helpful and friendly staff, nice clean rooms and located on the beach - you walk out of the hotel and there is sand between your toes! The sea is beautiful, clear and shallow so safe for kids, although i would not spend the whole day on it as there are far nicer ones a drive away (this is not saying its a bad […] beach its more a reflection of how great ~Ibiza is for beaches). Its close to Ibiza town, although not really walking distance unless you dont mind a hike. Talamanca isnt the most picturesque part of the island but looking out of the hotel across the bay, with its natural harbour and bobbing boats, is a wonderful way to start the day. Sitting on the terrace over looking the bay at night with a drink in your hand isnt a bad way to end it either! It was reasonably priced and i thought great value for for money. I would go back. We really enjoyed our stay with Argos May 2nd and 3rd- Actually we had wished we reserved it for an additional night. The location of the hotel is really perfect with easy access to the boardwalk around the bay, The Breakfast was really quite good. The hotel Argos is situated right on top of a lovely, quiet, sandy beach with direct beach access, no roads/paths to cross, just straight out of the restaurant on to the beach. The beach itself is small but there was always plenty of room and a spare lounger. The water was warm, shallow and clean. There is a bit of seaweed but this is more like a soft […] underwater carpet than anything horrible! The hotel itself is small but that is part of its appeal. The room is basic and quite dated but is neither dirty or uncomfortable and of an acceptable standard for the price charged. There is a nice pool overlooking the beach, a small Spar supermarket opposite the hotel entrance and a car hire place next to that. The port/marina of Ibiza is within a 5 minute walk of the hotel but it is a huge port so it will take a lot longer than that to walk all the way through it to town! Hotel reception was more than happy to order taxis which were prompt and reasonably priced. Taxi fare from the airport was around £20, £10 to town or Pacha, £30 to Cafe Del Mar in San Antonio, £20 to Amnesia and £10 to Space each way. Hotel food wasn't up to much, just very basic but there are plenty of excellent beach bars within 5 mins walk or lots of restaurants in the port again within 5 mins walk.We booked it for quiet, lazy days on the beach and easy access to the larger clubs and it fitted the bill perfectly. We picked this hotel for a long weekend based on a recommendation and did not regret our choice! Not only was the room ready upon arrival earlier than expected, but we also received an upgrade from 3 x standard double rooms to 2 suites which suites us perfectly. The location is perfect for Evissa and the old part of town, and a boat service is nearby […] which will take you to the harbour in about 10 minutes. You are close enough to the vibrant part of the island, but at the same time far enough to avoid the noise. Great staff, very friendly and helpful. Devamı

Off the main "drags" and therefore very quiet, but extremely close to the port (5mins walk) and the excellent ferry-bus to Ibiza Town with its own private section of the beach as well as a lovely swimming pool. Breakfast was really good with a varied buffet which changed every day and dinner looked good too although we didn't have the half board option. […] The dining room was light and airy and very modern - it had obviously been recently refurbed as had all the other public areas. super vue tres bel hotel

Prima middle class hotel; niet hip maar verzorgd, rustig. prima service en met mooi uitzicht (op verdieping 4 en 5) op zee. Bootverbinding met Ibiza-stad is ideaal, ook de autohuur tegenover het hotel. Personeel doet zich veel moeite om het je naar je zin te maken.

habitación muy incomoda y en el sótano (después de pagar el precio como la mas cara del hotel). bañera repintada y desconchada, bidet atascado, grifos oxidados, camas super pequeñas, colchones super incomodos, etc. etc. una experiencia para no repetir jamas. Quizas lo único bueno de este hotel sea la comida, aunque sin echar cohetes.

Upplevs mer som ett 3+ hotell än ett 4-stjärnigt. Personalen var ganska nonchalant och man fick betala deposition för att använda safety boxen på rummet samt för att använda hotellets handdukar vid poolen/på stranden. När vi ville använda bagagerummet sista dagen fick vi en nyckel och fick åka upp till tredje våningen själva och lämna bagaget. Man fick […] ingen biljett eller liknande. Sedan var det samma sak när man skulle hämta ut bagaget. Kändes lite som att man skulle kunna komma in från gatan och be om nyckeln till bagagerummet. Hotellet ligger precis vid stranden i Talamanca som är ett lugn och fint område. Bra frukostbuffé. Devamı

Väldigt trevligt hotell med en egen strand som ligger inom gångavstånd till nattklubben Pacha där vi huserade 3 nätter av 7 vilket var väldigt skönt då vi slapp tänka på dels att skaffa en taxi och kostnaden för det. Men för det så var ändå taxin förhållandevis billig. Exempelvis hundraåttio riksdaler mellan flygplats & hotell. Bemötandet på personalen […] i receptionen var väldigt olika. Den unga killen som jobbade dag uppfattades som ganska oengagerad och hälsade nästan aldrig när vi passerade receptionen. Mannen som arbetade nattetid (bar glasögon) var helt klart mest serviceminded och lånade till och med ut en mobiltelefonladdare, medan de andra medarbetarna hänvisade oss till centrala Ibiza stad eller flygplatsen för att köpa en. Restaurangpersonalen var väldigt trevliga och serviceminded! Fullpoäng till samtliga och särskillt restaurang/servitörchefen som var väldigt humoristisk och underhållande (han bar alltid slips & skjorta till skillnad från övrig personal som bar skojrta, väst & fluga) Vi bokade ett dubbelrum med halvpension och då ingick frukost och middag vilket är starkt rekommenderat. Maten höll väldigt hög nivå alla dagar och jag vill minnas att den vid 1 tillfälle inte var tillfreds, men det kan vara för att vi varit så bortskämda varje dag. Frukosten var också väldigt bra med stor variation beroende på om du är van vid nordisk frukost (flingor & mackor) eller medelhavsfrukost (croissanter & munkar). Det fanns även korv, omelett, ägg, fritterade degstänger med socker på, fruktyoghurt, färska frukter, färskpressad apelsinjuice, kaffe, choklad, vatten etc. En sak som vi inte tänkte på var att dryck till middagen kostade, även vatten. Dock så var det väldigt bra priser och vatten höll samma pris som ex. en öl. Wi-fi ingår, dock så saknade vi bra täckning på vårt rum och det fanns ingen täckning alls vid poolen. Men å andra sidan det kanske är bra så man inte är tillgänglig 100% på sin semester. Städpersonalen var väldigt trevliga och hälsade alltid, Devamı

Teníamos reservadas y pagadas 2 habitaciones dobles con vistas al mar y, cuando llegamos sólo había una disponible con vistas con cama de matrimonio (solicitado 2 camas individuales), no ofreciendo alternativas y siendo el conserje bastante borde. Tuvimos que proponer nosotros la compensación: que nos incluyeran a cambio el desayuno.

Wij zijn zeer tevreden over het hotel. Vriendelijk en hulpvaardig personeel. De bedden werden elke dag verschoont. Zeer uitgebreid ontbijt buffet.

Das Hotel selbst ist wohl schon etwas älter und eher schlecht isoliert (hausintern ringhörig), wichtig aber vor allem das freundliche Personal, die ruhige schöne und doch zentrale Lage, das ausgezeichnete Frühstücks- und Abendbuffet, letzteres mit dem Bemühen um einheimische Küche - alles sehr empfehlenswetr. Trevligt hotell som dessutom är mycket prisvärt ( i alla fall under Maj då vi var där) . Rummen är enkla men fräscha. Det märks att hotellet är lite äldre då detaljer börjar bli lite slitna, det är dock generellt väldigt välskött. Fint poolområde, egen strand, trevlig restaurang med bra frukost och trevlig hotellpersonal. Det finns Wifi men det fungerade […] tyvärr inte en enda dag under den vecka vi var där. Hotellet ligger lite avskiljt från resten av Ibiza stad, vilket ger en promenad på c:a 20 min in till de centrala delarna, det går även att ta färja från den närliggande hamnen vilket tar c:a 5 min, kostar c:a 5 euro (tor) och avgår åtminstone två ggr per timme under dagen. Under högsäsong avgår även färja till Formentera därifrån. Området runt hotellet är väldigt fint men inte lika livligt som resten av Ibiza, finns många fina restauranger och småbutiker vid hamnen i närheten, dessutom ligger klubben Patcha på gångavstånd. Vi bodde på hotell Argos i maj 2011. Hotellet var jättetrevligt med bra läge nära Ibiza stad. Man kunde åka en liten färja till Ibiza stad eller ta en promenad längs strandpromenaden. Maten var suverän med buffe både till frukost och middag. hotellet hade en egen strand och en trevlig pool. Vi åker gärna dit igen.

A la hora de plantearnos el viaje, buscamos un lugar tranquilo y un hotel familiar ya que viajamos con nuestro bebe de 9 meses. La zona nos parecio tranquila y eso fue lo que hizo que nos decidieramos por este hotel. Lo recomendamos y es más volveremos. El trato super familiar, encantadores, el buffet no es exageramente grande pero la comida esta muy […] bien, la limpieza correcta, fàcil aparcamiento (fuimos en abril imagino que en agosto la cosa cambia) y lo mejor de todo la zona, tranquila, en la misma playa de Talamanca a un paso del centro, sin que estar en el mismo centro y muy bien comunicado a la hora de visitar la isla, facil acceso. Very good hotel with excellent service. Good buffet dinner with variation. The room and the rest of the hotel was very clean. Only negative was the bed which was too hard.

Excelente localizacao, bom café da manha, quartos limpos e serviço adequado.

complessivamente un buon servizio ,senza eccessive pretese,certo non 4 stelle .ma una piscina carina un personale ottimo il cibo discreto la posizione comoda vicino al porto mi fa dire che lo consiglerei.

Det bästa är halvpensionen med fantastiskt utbud på rätter och kolla priset. Bra frukostbuffe och servicevänlig personal bjuder detta hotell på och hårda sängar.

Argos is een comfortabel hotel van alle gemakken voorzien. Alles wordt goed schoongehouden en de kamers zijn prima in orde, bedden liggen goed. Personeel is erg vriendelijk, op een uitzondering na, maar dat mag de pret niet drukken :-) We hebben alleen van het ontbijt gebruik gemaakt, maar dat was dik in orde. Het centrum van Eivissa ligt wel een eindje […] weg. Als je goed doorstapt ben je er met 20-25 minuten lopen. De auto is in de directe omgeving goed te parkeren, maar dat is denk ik wel afhankelijk van het seizoen. Wij waren er in het naseizoen. Een dagtrip naar Formentera is een aanrader! Devamı

Questo hotel non merita assolutamente quattro stelle: le camere corrispondono ad un hotel tre stelle neanche superior. Gli arredi sono vetusti, la maniglie delle porte scricchiolanti ed il bagno e' molto piccolo. Inoltre vi era sempre un cattivo odore presente in camera. La spiaggia dell'albergo e' proprio attaccata ad un porticciolo quindi l'acqua […] non e' proprio pulita. Infine la posizione e' buona ma questo, da solo, non vale un soggiorno all'Argos: dovrebbe costare la meta'. Devamı
