Honestly, this hotel isn't that bad. They upgraded us for free to a studio, which is bigger and has a lounging area. They gave us a room right by the pool with a great view. The room is basically a classic Greek cave room with rounded ceilings and hard floors. My wife said she felt like we were camping. But we went for the experience (backpacking) and […] decided it was actually a cool experience as opposed to a normal hotel. We stayed two nights and everything was great until the second day we cam home and the window to our room was left open! Good thing all of our expensive stuff was on us. I'm really sorry for the hotel to have to write this, because the rest of the stay was great! But honestly, you can't stay at a hotel that leave the door to your room unlocked while your gone. (the window is large and waist high, so you could easily climb in.) This upset me and when I told the concierge, he said he was sorry. Another woman by the desk using the internet computer (for free) said hers was open too. Not sure if this is a custom, or they just "know" the area is safe, but I would NEVER want a hotel to do this unless I requested it. Anyways, that's my two cents! Finikia Hotel is outside of Ia about a 25 min. walk or make sure you tell the bus driver you need to stop there. Devamı

This hotel is a bit of a walk from Oia, so if you are planning on lots of shopping there, be prepared for the walk. If you're not into the shopping so much, this is a perfect getaway from "the scene". This hotel is about a 10 min walk from Oia, in Santorini. Oia can get really overrun with tourists, and can be noisy, so staying in Finikia was a good choice. Staying at the Hotel Finikia was so nice, and quiet, and clean. The pool is awesome, the rooms were cool, clean and comfortable. The staff is always smiling and they did everything they could […] to make our stay a happy one- great food, great recommendations, great directions. The restaurant at Hotel Finikia had the best food we ate during our stay in Santorini! Overall- I'm just really impressed. I would gladly return to this hotel for a longer stay! Also, the bus will gladly stop and drop you directly in front of the hotel instead of taking you all the way into Oia if you just tell them specifically when you get on the bus. Devamı

After failing miserably to find an available cave house in Oia, we tried here. As it turns out, I'm glad we bailed out of Oia proper. Hotel Finikia is a 10-minute walk to the main shopping street in Oia, has a bus stop right outside the front door, and is displaced from the craziness of the shopping district. There's no caldera view (it's on the north […] side of the road), but I didn't miss it. We spent most of our sunsets having dinner in Oia anyway. Rooms are fairly large and comfortable, though ours got quite humid overnight - I expect that's an occupational hazard of Thira hotels. Breakfast service was included in the room rate, was fairly sparse compared to what we got on some of the other islands, but consistent with contemporary continental. The restaurant menu, like that of most of Santorini, was more Italian than Greek. I missed the sardeles and little grilled mullet that we could find in every taverna in the Dodecanese. All told, this was a perfect staging area for our journeys into Fira, Oia, and elsewhere. The hotel staff was very helpful getting us situated with a car and a game plan for exploring the island - they really went out of their way to help. Devamı

Very clean and well-kept. If you are staying in Oia, however, it doesn't have the sunset view that you are there for. Bus does stop right in front of hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the pool was really nice. We were a little disappointed with some of the staff--not very friendly and willing to help/answer questions. It is about a 15 minute walk from town, which we did not mind at all, but keep that in mind. Certainly close enough to go without renting a […] car or scooter. Hôtel dans un quartier calme mais assez à l'écart d'Oia (du quartier touristique). Prévoir une bonne dizaine de minutes à pied sur une voix assez passante pour aller dans le village d'Oia. Arrêt de bus à environ 20 mètres de l'hôtel. Si vous y êtes pour plusieurs jours prévoir une locations de motos/voitures pour faire la visite de l'île. Séjour au mois d 'aout, prévoir une voiture de location pour arrivée à l'Hotel et pour tout déplacement sur l'ile. Propriétaire trés chaleureux, petit déjeuner complet, la salle de restaurant et le restaurant sont très bien aussi. Un peu éloigné de Oia ( pratique et pas trop bruyant...), belle vue sur la mer, calme. piscine agréable et jacuzzi au pied […] de la chambre. Devamı

Nice pool area, good location - a nice quite location 10-15 min walk outside of Oia. Nice restaurante with beautiful view and excellent food and friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again!

Hyggelig hotell beliggende i et relativt stille område utenfor Oia. Man kan sikkert gå til Oia, men smal vei, og relativt mye trafikk, noe som ikke er så fristende etter mørkets frembrudd. Busstopp like ved hotellet, men ved retur fra Oia, er det ikke så lett å få bussen til å stoppe (mangler ofte stopp-knapp, og sjåfør glemmer å si fra!)

Este hotel es super bien ubicado , queda caminando a 10-15 minutos de OIA el pueblo mas lindo de Santorini y tiene a la salida en frente el paradero del bus que lo lleva a uno a Thira la ciudad centrica de la isla. Las habitaciones hermosas, tiene una vista del sunset espectacular, y el desayuno estaba bien!

I had really good first impression for this hotel in terms of hotel's look. It is located on just starting area of Oia village(direction from Fira). very far walking distance from Oia village which is famous place. but available to walk. no direct public bus from the airport or port to get the hotel. so need to request bus like taxi which takes people […] to hotel. 25 euro. then. You will be picked up with others and a bus driver will make a stop for you at just right in front of the hotel. The hotel is so nice, quiet, clean, and has a cozy restaurant and swimming pool. but,, they don't have hot water. not enough hot, a little bit cold for me to take a shower. everyhing is fine except hot water for shower. also,, they offer car hire or taxi service in the hotel. so don't need to look for other rent car shop. very convinient. Bus station is really far. never used. oh,, be careful of small insect.. The hotel is near the nature.. so you can meet small friends in your room sometimes. If you want to stay in this hotel,, I recommend the car hiring to get everywhere in Santorini. Generally,, I was satisfided this hotel in terms of their service, kindness of staffs, facilities, food, view,, moreover the price!!!! I suppose it is very good priced hotel!!!! Awsome restaurant and beautiful hotel. Perfect service. What more can you ask for? 15 minutes from Oia - don't miss the traditional settlement of Finikia - the best hidden diamond at Santorini. You can hardly see it even from the hotel, but five minutes down the road there is a small village, looking something like Oia might have done before the tourists […] came and everything got painted white and stuffed with hotels and souvenir shops. Fint hotell med god beliggenhet. Ca 10 min aa gaa til sentrum av Oia, men 10 min i 30 grader er mer slitsomt enn vanlig. :) Hyggelige folk, veldig koselig rom, litt Kardemummeby-stil. Svommebaseng og frokost! Alt i alt et fint hotell!

On a passé un très bon séjour dans ce superbe hôtel. Très bien entretenu, accueil chaleureux, piscine superbe. On n'a pas testé le restaurant de l'hôtel mais celui ci semble correct. Le seul reproche sur l'hôtel concerne sa localisation, il n'est pas à Oia même, il est à Finikia, 15 minutes de marche à pieds mais cela se fait très bien. L'accueil est aimable et chaleureux, l'hôtel est à quelques minutes du centre d'Oia, à côté d'un arrêt de bus, la prestation est très bonne voire excellente pour ce prix. Le restaurant de l'hôtel présente également un très bon rapport qualité/prix. Très chaudes recommandations pour cet établissement
