SINGEL HOTEL - Amsterdam

Fabulous hotel in a very convenient location about 10 min walk from the train station. Very friendly and helpful staff, reasonable size room although a bit weird crossing the roof to get to it!) with lovely views across the Singel Canal. Not a huge choice for breakfast but sufficient to fuel up for the day. Would definitely stay here again.

No fault with anything, but a fan in the room would have been great. It got very warm at night and even with the windows open there was no circulation of air as the curtains were closed due to the risk of mosquitoes. Basic room but brilliant location. Fabulous for short stay.

Great Location just blocks from the train station and pedestrian mall. I had a very adequate single room at a good price relative to the other options I saw on the web.

I have given top marks for everything except for the comfort of the room. My standalone room was in between the stairs of the first and second floor (there is a small lift but it's faster to walk the stairs) and next to the gents toilets. Therefore I had a very sleepless night as I heard people walking up and down the creaky stairs and closing/slamming […] doors. I have to say that it was the worst room I have ever stayed in and unless you are a heavy sleeper then you would be ok with this. I saw an option for other hotels on hotel.com for "best room available" and chose Singel Hotel as they didn't have this option. It's unfortunate as I really liked the staff and couldn't fault anything else. These queer rooms on the landings in between floors definitely should be priced much lower than the other standards rooms. I did not complain at the time as I had luckily only booked for one night. The location and service were good. The basement room given was dark, hot and airless. Next to reception and breakfast room so not much privacy and noisy at times. Hotel was fully booked at the time but I'm sure other rooms must be better.

And that's about it. Basic accommodation, very unhelpful staff, a room the size of a prison cell... pretty much the best that can be said about the place is that it's close to the train station, but not quite inside the red-light district.

The Singel hotel-nice cozy room on top floor.more than value for money,and perfect location especially for a short trip in Amsterdam

The hotel was very conveniently located to many great attractions and the Central train station. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Hotel was a decent size and clean and comfortable. I would stay here again and will recommend it to others.

We liked this hotel very much, the staff were very friendly and helpful. the hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was yummy! The farewell gift (a travel pillow) was a welcome added touch. Overall a very pleasing time and we would defineately stay here again. we would rate this hotel 9/10. Very Happy.

The hotel was nothing special, but aat this price I didn't expect much. The location is excellent, being very central in Amsterdam, but in a quiet location. The rooms are OK, again nothing special, but at this price you wouldn't expect them to be. The hotel staff, however, were excellent. I picked this hotel for the location (close to train station) and price (inexpensive relative to Amsterdam). Even though I booked well in advance and I arrived in the afternoon, I was given a room in the half basement, at the same level as the reception and the breakfast room, next to the elevator. The room faced a garden on the side of the building, […] which I could only partly see because the window was high and very small. The room was noisy most of the day and late at night, mostly because of people taking the elevator and having loud conversations while waiting. The room was very dark, very hot and had poor ventilation. The bed occupied most of the room, and I had trouble going from one side of it to the other due to the triangular shape of the room and one corner of the bed being really close to the wall. I asked several times to be relocated but was told that the place was full. I even offered to take a more expensive, bigger room if available. I thought of finding another hotel, but they would not refund the room charges because of their refund policy. Devamı

Having not been to amsterdam i was looking forward to a nice hotel on a loveley street where you could relax before setting off to explore. I was greeted with a back room facing onto a wall 1meter away. hence no daylight. The room did in no way resemle anything advertised on the web site. Tired carpet, chiped or delaminated furniture, it had more the […] feel of a hostel inside all be it with a good bed. I was offered one other room which was possibly worse. I booked a good month ahead so this should not have been a problem neither was i that late checking in. Pænt mindre hotel med suveræn beliggenhed centralt i Amsterdam. Direkte adgang til handelsgader, seværdigheder og Amsterdams liberale aften- og natteliv. God standard morgenmads buffet og venligt personale. Gadelivet fornemmes og høres fra værelserne men støjniveauet er acceptabelt. Lidt dårlige parkeringsforhold ved hotellet. Hotellet har ett bra läge nära stationen och utanför red light district. Trevliga kvarter. Vårt rum var ganska litet, relativt fräscht men inte särskilt snyggt. Frukosten var helt ok, men inget exeptionellt. Helt ok för en kortare vistelse, relativt prisvärt för att vara Amsterdam tror jag.

Great location, lovely service and staff.

Un bon rapport qualité prix, un excellent emplacement, non loin de la gare sans être pour autant dans un quartier "gare". A 10-15 mn à pied, on se trouve face à un joli canal, dans un quartier accessible et permettant de sillonner la ville facilement. Nice and clean hotel, near AMS central

Erinomaisella paikalla sijaitseva vaatimaton hotelli. Pikkuruinen huone. Asiallinen aamiainen. Lauantai-iltana kadulta meteliä, viikolla rauhallista.

立地は中央駅から徒歩5分と便利で、世界遺産である運河に面しています。ホテルの人も非常に感じの良い人たちでした。部屋とバスルームは狭いですが、清潔感はあり、快適でした。ホテル近辺にレストランやスーパーがあり、食事にも困りません。朝食はバリエーションは多くはありませんが、おいしい食事でした。ホテル価格も手頃で、お得感があります。お勧めします。

O hotel fica muito bem localizado, próximo a tudo o que acontece em Amsterdam. Pessoal da recepção atencioso; atendimento quase individualizado. Quartos em boas condições. Recomendo!

hotellet er udærket som udgangspunkt for vandring i den indre by. Morgenmaden er lidt spartansk men ellers er hotellet hyggeligt comforten i orden og personalet er hjælpsom. det trådløse internet er langsom på 4. etage og ikke alle kanaler på TV fungerede.

Utrolig flott service på alle fronter, samt hyggelig og smilende personale. Anbefaller uten tvil dette hotellet til alle

Hyggeligt hotel med en super beliggenhed lige i centrum af Amsterdam - tæt på alt samt idyliske omgivelser. Personalet var super venlige og klar til at hjælpe med alt fra parkering til gode råd om seværdigheder. Værelset havde en passende størrelse og rengøringsstandarden var fin. Midt i hjertet av byen. To kvartaler unna kilometer lang shoppinggate. Gåavstand til Red Light district, central station, Anne Franks hus. Trygt område å bo i. Enkel standard, men hyggelige rom.

OK hotel, vi brugte hotellet som udgangspunkt til at opleve byen til fods. små værelser, centralt placeret ifht indre by og hovedbanegård. Ok morgenmad. kan anbefales

Das Singel Hotel in Amsterdam ist sehr zentral gelegen, 5 Gehminuten vom Hauptbahnhof. Ruhige Lage. Die Zimmer sind sehr klein, die Hotelangestellten überaus nett und hilfsbereit. Das ideale Hotel für einen kurzen Aufenthalt oder eine Städtereise.

Lite hotellrom (som de fleste i amsterdam). Fin beliggenhet. Sentralt, men stille. Kjedelig frokost, ingen grønnsaker. Betjening gav uoppfordret lynkurs om amsterdam ved ankomst og ellers svært hjelpsom. Abefales ikke for de som har tenkt å tilbringe stor tid på hotellrommet..

Et hyggeligt lille hotel i centrum af Amsterdam. Personalet var utrolig hjælpsomme - ligemeget hvad vi spurgte om, var det "no problem". De kunne guide os til de steder vi ville besøge, og hjalp os med parkering af bilen et sikkert sted. Altid et smil, når vi gik og kom hjem. Morgenmaden var den traditionelle. Det eneste vi var ærgerlige over, var […] at vi meget bevidst havde valgt et hotel beliggende lige ned til en af kanalerne. Men ingen af de to værelser vi fik havde udsigt - faktisk kiggede vi lige ind i en væg, ca en meter væk, når vi kiggede ud af vinduerne... Devamı
