Nice staff, large rooms, big bed, but very very bad breakfast: muffins and juice...

The condition of the room was not that great. There were carpet staples sticking up so if you walked around barefoot they poked your feet. The bedding made me itchy although i dont know if thats just my skin reacting to whatever soap they use. (by the way whatever soaps they use to clean make the whole room smell funny). Also when I was picking up the […] next morning I saw a mousetrap under the nightstand, which made me worry about the pest situation. The location is pretty good, very close to downtown, but the actual area surrounding the hotel isnt all that nice. no chair in the room. moldings along floor loose or off. Bathroom was recently upgraded and nice. had problems with the internet connection and was not given an 800 number to resolve. hard to work on a laptop without chair.

For the prices this hotel would rate about a 3 in my book. I won't likely stay there again due to the service or lack there of and the fire alarm going off at 6am for no reason. Bathrooms have been remodeled in some rooms but not all. Rooms have paper thin walls.

Almost last hotel room that would take dogs. Very noisy, no place to hang clothes. Fire alarm went off twice between 6 am and 7 am. Dissatisfying experience.

Place was clean and adequate. Excellent value for what we needed.

Everything the previous reviewers write is true. One difference for us was that my son left his wallet behind with $70 in and the housecleaner found it and turned it in to the office. When we pickedir up, all the money was in there!! I had also left my cell phone in the room. When I called, they hadn't found it in the room. When we went back to pick […] up the wallet, I asked one more time. Although the lady had already gone in the room to look and hadn't found it, she went back again and looked through the blankets. Staff was nice, location good for what we went for. The bedding was much desirable, but we didnt lose sleep because of it.

This a family run, the couple were friendly. Big down side was the rooms to our left and right partied all night and didn't stop until the wee hours.

Great location - close to town, close to Cal Poly. The bathroom was recently remodeled in granite. There was a frig and a microwave. The room was spacious and quiet!

The mattress was so hard I woke up several times with aching bones. I had to take asperin for the pain. The bathroom was like new, but very small. Carpet and drapes were old. Bathroom sink was plugged up so we had to move room on the second day. No clock. Room needs work. One of the chairs was so badly stained with burn hole in it, would not use it. Tile in bathroom coming up. Continental breakfast needs work. Muffins from Costco cut in quarters with coffee and OJ. Only.

Slight step up from a Motel 6 type motel. We booked here for the refrigerator and microwave and the fact that it had King size bed options. We won't likely stay there again if we have other options in this price range. Bed was fine, room was fine, just very old, worn out seeming. Clean, good service, and good price, though. The price was right, but the conditions were gross. I had mildew for days in the tub. The room was dirty, but the sheets were clean.

fairly clean rooms. small tears on comforter on bed though. hair dryer did not work, but microwave and refrigerator works very well. very close to the 101 freeway and fairly close to avila and pismo beach. overall very satisfied with our stay

The San Luis Inn wasn't anything great but for a weekday stay it was worth the price. It was a cheap cab ride downtown, bed and show. No frills but did the job.

Older Hotel, but clean. The rooms are nothing special, but for the price, serve the need. The heated pool was not heated, and had not been cleaned in a long time. It was full of leaves and black spots. The continental breakfast which starts at 8 AM, was a joke - Coffee, O.J. and 5 muffins cut into quarters. No fruit, yogurt, cereal, bread, milk, tea […] or hot water available and was completely removed promptly at 10 am. I was 10 minutes late, and could not even get a cup of instant coffe or tea. I am used to staff that is willing to bend over backwards to please their customers - you will not find that here. But no worries, as there are a few fast food restaurants nearby. I would stay there again, because of price and location, but will be more prepared with breakfast, coffee press and plug in kettle. Devamı

The hotel room wasn't amazing. I thought that the bed and pillows were comfortable enough. If you don't have high expectations, then you won't be disappointed. The room was appropriate for the price.

I will never stay there again. It was cheap, but then you really do get what you pay for.

Convenient to Cal Poly and downtown SLO. Very affordable. OK room but a bit noisy (near freeway and major blvd.), so bring ear plugs.

Make no mistake - this place is a serious dump. The hotel rooms are very small, decor is way outdated and they give you an actual key that doesn't even fit the deadbolt on the door - however - its the cheapest place in town! If you'll be out all day or night and just need a place to crash/shower, this is a decent spot.

The bathroom we had was completely remodeled in granite, tile, and real porcelain. Hotel was very clean. The beds were comfortable but not plush, however, the pillows were great! People at desk were friendly. It was so reasonable, we've decided to come back and stay more often to visit our kids at Cal Poly (which is less than 3 minutes away). San Luis Suites and inn in San Luis Obispo, ca was clean comfortable and close to all the places we had to be at. It was a good experience and the price was right.

The location of this hotel is nice. The lady who lives there is of East Indian heritage . She could NOT BE NICER!! The hotel is undergoing updating, but having stayed in the old and new rooms needs several more things. New bedspreads they looked old and very dirty. The carpet is really bad! And looks dirty. The televisions are ancient and the remotes […] don't even have a channel guide! You have to guess. There is a small frig that isn't cold even on high. The microwaves glass rotating plate was broken. The light was inadequate and old. If these rooms were given new comforters, cleaned thoroughly, given new carpet and curtains & Tvs it would be a really nice place to be. I feel bad for the people running it. They seem to do as much as possible with what they have been given. It is very inexpensive for the area. Devamı

I was surprised by a $10 charge for having the dog since nothing was said on the website. Otherwise, the room was very satisfactory. The bed was firm and the shower was great. I appreciated the large vanity area; microwave, refrigerator and free internet. Ice machine close by; as well as a really nice park 2 blocks away. SLO is a beautiful little town; and at the last minute, we found a decent, cheap place to stay. You get what you pay for - while it appeared that the sheets had been washed and we didn't see any grime, it was strictly a cheap place to stay. The managers were nice; but we could hear the party going on next door way too easily. There were permanent stains […] on the tub; which was incredibly tricky to negotiate temperature-wise. There was no coffee pot. The mattress had no boxspring and just seemed worn out. Everything looked worn, tired. I came down with flea bites, but that might have been from sitting in the park too long; my boyfriend did not get any, so no way to tell. We got a literal house key, no key ring even, for the room; that was a little odd. However, it was within walking distance to downtown, and is probably a typical place for people needing a cheap place in a hurry. Might even be better than most, in that situation. Devamı

We only paid 51.40 for our room on a Saturday night. We loved the price, but I did not sleep at all as the walls were VERY thin. We heard people outside and above us all night. The couple next door to us were going at it all night and we heard everything! I would recommend to young people but not to people with kids. It'd been awhile since we stayed here. Must be new owners.Took 3 changes to get a somewhat decent room. EVERYTHING smelled of curry. Carpets filthy. Bed totally uncomfortable. This is not for people who Love to stay in a hotel for comfort and Luxury, this is just a place to hide your head. Small bathroom, and old paint and you can see the age on the walls. Overall its a bit low on what you pay.

This hotel is conveniently close to Downtown SLO and nearby restaurants. The interior of the room was really nice; good size room and nice bathrooms. The only downfall was that our fridge was not working.

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed. I will never choose this hotel again. During my stay, I did not take a shower as there were stains in the bathtub.

Nothing fancy here but I found the room to be clean. Did have any complaints for the price.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at. The name was misleading as it mentioned the word "suites." The room was filthy. I am pretty sure I saw a bed bug. The bathroom had mold everywhere. At first when I saw a fancy jaguar. I thought that the place might be nice, but then we noticed there were people who looked like they were renting the rooms by the hour. It is a motel. Its an old motel and you get what you pay for.

ONLY SETBACK IS NOT ENOUGH PARKING NEAR ROOMS & PARKING LOT TOO SMALL.
