The hotel is fine if you need a good night's sleep and don't mind staying a bit off the beaten path, and don't need a bath tub. But beware of the self parking. My husband wanted to get our stroller out of our car and got a major attitude from the attendant...he ended up having a fight with the guy and just putting our car on the street.

AWESOME bed...clean room, very friendly staff, location is ok, not awesome. Good shower, good desk/workspace. Did I mention the bed was awesome? I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in NYC.

As before..Friendly, warm, great river views, good food in cafe......very good gym

I have stayed at a number if differerent hotels in NYC and this is one I always come back to. The neighborhood is quiet and the rooms incredibly quiet and larger than normal. The heater is a little loud but tolerable. Staff are always friendly and helpful no matter what time of day or night. Six blocks from the subway, but we love to walk the neighborhood, […] so not an issue. Love this hotel! Devamı

The staff was welcoming and very friendly. Our room was clean and had a great view of Manhattan. Hopefully our next visit will allow us time to use the pool and have breakfast in the lobby restaurant.

Very nice and clean. Hotel staff are lovely. The only thing was the blankets on the bed. They were very thin. Even with the heat on we were cold. Asked for more blankets and the sent them up!

The staff was helpful and friendly. Their restaurant had really good spaghetti chicken parmesan. The king size bed was comfortable. Everything was excellent. Only two caveats: if you want food and drink, go to a nearby convenience store because the Market's price come with a restaurant tax of 5 bucks, and TV reception my not be crystal, but you're not […] in NYC to watch TV. The staff were extremely helpful, and professional. The hotel is clean and beautiful. I loved looking at the pool and the beautiful artwork hung around the pool. It is possible to see it just standing in the lobby. There is a business center where I used the internet and printed a few things for free!!! This was the second stay at this hotel. I basically like it in terms of cost and value. I will recommend this hotel, only if you well know the area around it and dislike the lousy middle-class hotel in the mid town.

price was ok for nyc...but the rooms were rather small and no price consideration for senior citizens which bothered me

We were visiting my brother and his family in Yorkville. This hotel is an easy walk. The rooms are clean and reasonably appointed. The staff was very accomodating as my mother is handicapped.

I had booked on Hotels.com and booked as a corner room. I showed up around 2-3, not sure exactly and they said it would be an hour. The desk clerk tried to get us in sooner but said the corner room was not availavle. Other than that the room was fine and convient for my needs.

Hotel excellent in every way but one. The refrudgerator was completely filled with non-removable pay beverages so we didn't have a good place to put healthy snacks like yoghurt. Superb gym and pool.

We arrived very late due to unforeseen traffic. We had to take our luggage up to our room ourselves. We had to look for a luggage rack. We were very tired and we were in a rush to make dinner with our daughter. For the cost of the room, it would have been nice to have some help. The room itself was clean and very comfortable.

Would recommend. Staff was very friendly. Adjacent restaurant was good and there's a grocery just downstairs. Plenty to walk to for nightlife.

Although it was convenient to the church we needed to be at on Sunday, we wish it were closer to the city center. That said, the hotel was very clean and comfortable and the staff incredibly helpful; especially Matt, our Bell Man. He gave us lots of information and suggestions for eating and moving around the city. Would definitely stay here again, […] if we go for the concert again next year. Thank You! Devamı

Service was very good . Location was ok , near subway to Yankee Stadium. Could have been closer to lower Manhattan but otherwise very satisfying. Matt helped us w/ parking and subway location

This courtyard is average in every way. its location across the street from a housing project is not great, though the neighborhood appeared safe, even after dark. Relatively convenient to museums and Central Park.

I wanted to check in about 50 minutes early (check in time is 3pm), but the room wasn't ready. Totally understandable. However, the room was still not ready when it hit 3pm :( We stayed in a suite, which was nice since it was a little bit more spacious than a regular room. The furniture is starting to show age (stains, worn spots, etc). Also, I was […] disappointed that the pool was closed for maintence. We had an event to attend on the upper east side, so the hotel location was the major deciding factor for us. The hotel seems like a pretty standard Marriott. I felt very safe at this hotel. The front desk person even got us in a room very early. The staff was very helpful with local information.

The hotel staff at the check in desk were fantastic. I had made my reservation only a few hours before check in and it was not in their system. They were very helpful and patient while I tried to get it straightened out with hotels.com. I only had a one night stay, but the hotel fit my needs perfectly. Matt, the gentleman at the front door, made our whole stay! He pointed out the free parking for the weekend across the street and gave us a HUGE shortcut to get to the L.I.E.!!!! Thank you Matt, because of you we will stay there again ;-) Also, we extended our check out time til 1, and were late because church went over...no extra charge and they even […] let us take our time to change clothes!!! Great stay. Located on the UES, not terribly close to the attractions but good if you want to be in this area.

The hotel was very clean, the beds large Queens and comfortable. The location is walking distance to the Metro and to Central Park, but neither is close walking distance. You must be up for a little exercise and dress appropriately. Lots of construction sites to bypass. The staff was aloof and stingy with the blankets and coffee. Super value in a quiet, residential location that's walking distance to plenty of neighborhood spots and great shopping. Makes you feel like an UES denizen. Very courteous service, well-maintained, convenient. Slightly awkward room layout, but offset by a magnificent view. Highly recommend!

The hotel served me perfectly; I needed a clean, inexpensive bed on the upper east side while I conducted some business in town. It is pretty far east, but if you only need a place to sleep, and don't intend to return to the hotel throughout the day, the location isn't a problem. Friendly staff and very quiet inside the hotel. Enjoyed our stay for the most part. A bit off the beaten path for museum goers, but we chose it for fitness facilities and pool. Good fitness facility available 24/7, but pool had very limited hours. This is a great hotel. Although it's not very close to a subway line and there is construction on 2nd Avenue, the neighborhood is great. Not far from shopping, great restaurants. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

This hotel is convenient to all points of interest in NYC. The crosstown bus begins its route 50 yards from the hotel entrance and is only minutes from the Lexington Ave station for the 4,5 and 6 trains or stay on to cross central park and ride to Broadway and the 1,2,3 train station. After a day of sight-seeing or shopping, the crosstown bus ends its […] eastbound route just steps away from the hotel entrance. Self park was reasonably priced, only a block away and next to FDR Hwy. Room clean. Elevators quite slow. Staff very nice and a nice neighborhood for walking. Not close to the big sights which for us was a good thing.

The extended walk to the subway caused a few more cab rides than anticipated, however the gym, small pool, new marble and bath fixtures and even the room size were more than expected for a 3-star hotel.
