you will experience the peace and serenity of breaking
free from the madding crowd and return to a warm
welcome and comfortable surroundings. For our business
guests we offer a fully equipped business centre with
seven meeting rooms to accommodate from eight to 180,
in addition to our Birkbeck Restaurant, which is ideal
for larger groups. With ample free parking, outstanding
views and the space and tranquility that the rural
surroundings provide, our guests return to us time
after time.

"Ideal for lakeland walks and general northern situ"

"Surpisingly good."

"Overnight Stay Good Choice"
Our experience here was good but limited as we arrived very late and left very early so basically just slept here. Our room seemed newly decorated and had the facilities you might expect for the price. The shower temperature control was very dodgy. Fantastic location and very rural and quiet and close to the M6 (satnav advised!). We didnt eat or drink […] here. However hotel staff very helpful. Hotel was very nice in a quiet secluded area, ideal for walks and quiet breaks. Food was very good, we ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel and all were exceptional - very reasonably priced also.
