"SUPER AWESOME LOCATION"
We love this place. We return here every few months and ride the Katy Trail. We love all the downtown activity and dining options. Also close to the casino. The hotel is super nice and the people are friendly and helpful. Perfect experience again :)
not much water pressure in shower and too few television channels
Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms are very clean and spacious and staff are very nice and helpful. Very close to casino and just a $5.00 cab ride. Lots to do near by. Pool looked nice and breakfast was very good. Will definately stay here again.

"One block to Main Street"
This was a beautifully appointed hotel and the location was great. Just a one block walk to Main Street in old Saint Charles. Terrific breakfast too!

"St Charles Country Inn- great location"
Great location for our girls weekend, walk to fun shops and great restaurants as well as waterfront historic things and the casino. The people everywhere in this town were so great and friendly and helpful. The hotel fit right in to the neighborhood and aside from needing a good vaccuum was very well maintained. Breakfast was very good as well.

"Weekend getaway"
Stayed at Country Inn for weekend getaway. Was very close the casino we wanted to visit. The hot tub was nice and pool clean. Good neighborhood.
This hotel has a BEAUTIFUL lobby! All the staff members were so helpful and nice. The pool is a nice size/temperature. The hot tub was nice, too. Although, the "Emergency Stop" button is right next to the "Jets" button, so when I went down to use it in the morning, it was cold, as the wrong button was pushed sometime the evening before. "Hotel nearby Ameristar"
Love the high ceilings in the room. A bit far from Ameristar in cold weather. Just a walk down the street from Trailhead and shops.

"Not impressed!"
The hotel room that was pictured online was NOT the hotel room that we actually got. There was no spa tub in the room like pictured. Also, the air vent rattled all night long! We were unable to sleep because of it and there were several visitors that were yelling through the halls on a couple different occassions in the middle of the night. The location […] was pretty good although the surrounding streets were in terrible condition. Very close to the casino and main street activities in St. Charles. The breakfast was probably the highlight of the hotel. Hot breakfast included waffles, bacon, biscuits, gravy, and scrambled eggs along with the main continental breakfast items. We spoke with management about our disappointment with the room and the loud noises from our vent and they did nothing to help rectify the situation. We were disppointed with our stay. Devamı

"Close to Historic district and work location."
Very nice clean comfortable hotel. We enjoyed the quiet and the nice breakfast.
The hotel staff (Lance, I think) was phenomenal. Everything was perfect! The room was lovely, the pool delightful, the breakfast awesome. It was a WONDERFUL stay, and perfect for our small pets. We WILL be back!

"Excellent for the price"
The hotel was very close to the historic area of St. Charles. The room was very comfortable, service was great. My only recommendation is to not wait and go for breakfast during the last half hour. Foods were low, no bowls, spoons, or milk on our first day. All the tables were dirty and the young lady working was inconvenienced when I asked for a bowl. […] Our second morning was better, a different young lady working. We did not use the pool but the exercise room was clean and well maintained. "Not enough room for my family"
When I was making reservations for this trip I wanted a room that would be large enough to accommodate my family of 5. Since it was clear that my criteria was for a family of five I had hoped that this hotel would be a good option since it was an option to have 5 people in the room. The pictures on the website were of the King suites so it was difficult […] for me to determine that we wouldn't have enough space until we got there. I had assumed that we were getting something more on par with a suite and expected there to be a sofa area. It was not clear to me from the description of my room that we were getting a regular hotel room. While we had the option of a rollaway bed (for an additional charge) there would have been no place to put one. So we spent a week crammed into two queen sized beds. In addition, the website lists refrigerators as one of the amenities and our room did not have a fridge. In addition, my daughter had a reaction to the chlorine level in the pool which necessitated a trip to the ER as she was coughing and having trouble breathing. My grown Daughter and I came to see St. Charles. We were very happy with our stay. We like our room. Breakfast offerings were very good.Our room was nice and comfortable. Hotel was quiet.The service from the Hotel staff was very good. We had a couple not so positive comments.... We both thought our room an odd scent. It smelled like dirty socks or feet.Needs […] some carpet freshener, or something. We really wanted to enjoy the pool and hot tub. Perfect hotel to stay in to enjoy St. Charles. Within short walk of historic district. Appreciate that the hotel was constructed to blend into the neighborhood it was located in. Clean and very comfortable. Katy trail was a stones throw from the rear of the hotel. I would stay there again.

Free Wi-Fi is a plus for an IT person like me. Nothing flashy, but all the factors in a comfortable stay are there. The 1-bedroom was perfectly sized, well-lit, and even had spare bedding in the closet. A great place to stay in a wonderful, historic town.

Comments for hotel improvement is to have larger pillows or more pills - the four pillows on the bed seemed dwarfed compared the the huge bed. And, rearrange the hot breakfast bars so that the waffles and toast are not at the beginning of the line (last position makes sense) so that the line does not bottleneck. "Great Location & Very Comfortible Room"
We stayed there two nights are were very happy with our room. The hotel is within walking distance of the shpos and restauranyts in Old St Charles and the Ameristar Casino. Access to entrance / exit of I-70 is very close. Room was well lit and had plenty of outlets. Wi-Fi was easy to use too. Breakfast was good & included a few hot items. Very nice!
"Great place to stay amazing surrounding area"
I was surprised when I arrived to the hotel and it was on a brick road going into a small old town. Lots to do after work between the pubs, restaurants, and walking the old railroad trail by the river. The hotel rooms could use a makeover, a little out dated. But everything was clean and good service. Can't beat the price.

"Would definitely stay again!"
Room was nice; staff was nice. Only one problem - something was wrong with the hottub. When you turned on the jets, you immediately started coughing and gagging and had to shut it down. Informed front desk and they took immediate action. We didn't stick around and checked out the next day bbut I assume they took care of it.

Not as fancy as we thought it might be-just another hotel-clean and comfortable, a bit dated. Breakfast was OK, again, nothing spectacular. Shopping is close.

St. Charles is a beautiful historic town. It really added to our vacation walking up and down main street shopping. It's only about 12 miles into St. Louis which makes it nice to go to the zoo and the Arch. We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel and would definitely stay again. "Country Inn great"
Fantastic location and comfortable bed! Breakfast could be better. First night there had appetizers brought in by Steakhouse. Hey...free dinner although all fried.
The only complaint we have is the pool-it was cold and the water was VERY cloudy. Everything else about the hotel was great. The room we had was small but it worked for us since we weren't in it much. The breakfast was great!
