It was a lovely hotel and had a lovely time. Would reccomend it to my friends and travellers. Will be back!

Close enough to the main venues, and far enough to be quiet at bed time. We like the place and probably will go back even though they accidentally double charged us and the room had no toilet nor tissue paper. I have noticed this hotel in the Hunter over the years when visiting the area, but we just haven't had the opportunity to stay there as there are so many alternatives these days. It wasn't like that in the '70s and early '80s when we used to stay at the Hunter Valley Motel or whatever else we could find (once even the Ex Services Club in Cessnock!). A […] friend had stayed there recently and recommended the hotel, so it was delightful to take the opportunity to book and discover just how comprehensive the amenities were. Mind you we didn't need to use the pool or tennis court on this occasion. But we have been known to drop in on the local pool in Cessnock in the 'good ol days'. And if we had stayed for another day we would have hired the bikes. The hotel is very nicely presented. The foyer, restaurant, and bar in the main building are beautifully maintained and have a lovely aura. It would be a great choice for conferences. We enjoyed our stay. Devamı

The hotel is in a great location for exploring nearby wineries, and has excellent facilities. Although the staff were very helpful, the standout feature was dining at Fuzion - worth eating at their restaurant even if not staying here.

The arrival at the hotel was initself a great experience. The lovely approach along the driveway and greeting by the staff was really nice. The beautiful surroundings of the Hunter Valley helped of course. Our room overlooked the fields and mountains with lots of wildlife activity to be seen. My wife and I sat on the shaded balcony watching the activity […] whilst sipping our first local wine and enjoying the late afternoon sun. The room was spacious and very comfortable to be in. The first couple of nights at the hotel we got the feeling that it was still early season with only a few guests and a low staffing level. Nevertheless we were well looked after and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the restaraunt. The food was excellent and well presented. The early season feeling soon disappeared on the arrival of a weddind party and the increased staffing level was obvious. Overall the visit was a great experience and I would certainly recommend the hotel and The Hunter Valley. Devamı

The sebel kirkton park was a real treat. The accommodation was wonderful, the service friendly and the surrounding property magnificent. Close to many wineries, restaurants and attractions.

Really loved the Sebel-Kirkton. It was a top class venue and extremely picturesque. Beautifully maintained and a pleasure to be staying there. Very handy to the whole of the Hunter valley area.

We loved the Kirkton, & will definitely stay there again.it is beautifully designed & immaculately maintained. So peaceful, you wake up to hear the birds singing ( no other sounds) . It provided a welcome escape from a weekend conference elsewhere, allowing time out from work. excellent food, great swimming pool, bikes tstill close to vineyards, restaurants […] & all delights of the Hunter Devamı

Guest folder in the room was not up to date regarding wifi. Poor service when we tried to make a reservation for dinner in the restaurant, ended up going elsewhere. Location and views were fantastic, but the room was just ok.

Picture perfect - the hotel is set upon a beautiful landscape with views that run for miles.. Many wineries close by to choose a bottle to enjoy in the room or on the balcony. The pool could have been slightly warmer, but the hotel bar with log fire provides a good place to warm up in the winter time. The rooms were spacious and well maintained with […] all amenities. We've stayed before in one of the newer sections. This time we were in the original hotel and the room was older so not quite as up to scratch as the newer rooms. The bed was comfortable and warm but my disappointment was the bathroom - absolutely nowhere to put one's bits and pieces except in my own vanity bag on the floor as there was no available […] bench space. Only one mirror in the room, so it's hard to juggle make-up etc. I'd definitely go again but would choose one of the modern rooms. Devamı

We stayed one night in a heritage room with expansive countryside views from the verandah. Verandah is shared so not very private even though we didn't see anyone on it. Room was quite spacious and comfortable and had some heritage charm. The only real fault we found was that the walls were paper thin – you could hear the guests having a conversation […] next door. Hotel was OK but restaurant left a lot to be desired. Crispy skin tuna arrived burnt and duck breast was not medium but raw and had to be sent back. Room was OK but is starting to look a little tired.

This is our second time at Sebel and what we love about this hotel is the indoor swimming pool. Everything seems to be fine until our last night when we heard some buzzing noises which was really annoying and kept us awake all night. Otherwise, it's a lovely hotel and will stay there again on our next trip.

Great location with the rooms overlooking the vineyards. Had an indoor swimming pool although we did not try it but would have been great for kids.

The position is great and the view from our room across the valley was fantastic. Beds were comfortable but bathrooms need updating. Breakfast was very good. The hotel has a maintenance issue I would still stay here again though.

Kirkton Park is one of our favourite hotels in the Hunter Valley. The atmosphere is always very relaxed and inviting. As the restaurant is under the same roof it is particularly convenient.

The photos on the website look amazing (were even thinking of having our wedding there) but was a bit disappointed on how dingy and old school it was room definitely need a refurb . The gardens and that were also in need of some maintenance. Staff were lovely not that we had much to do with them. Overall quiet and good location though.

We had the most beautiful view over the countryside from our room. The staff were helpful and friendly and happily delt with our requests.

Everything about it was delightful. One little incident. Had dinner at the hotel and it was quite busy. So busy that at the time we were seated there were no menus. It took a little while but the staff was so kind and comped us on a bottle wine to go with our excellent meal. Overall, we had a wonderful experience

This is a good hotel; in a great location, with good staff. The on-site restaurant is good; but not quite expensive. Downsides are: (a) looks like it's being run by 'bean-counter accountants - a few areas (such as the pool area) where some maintenance/upgrading is really required; but not happening; and (b) like all else in this area, it's not walking […] distance to anything else - need a car. I assume it's main market is business conventions & weddings. We didn't fit either category; but still thought it quite good value Devamı

Very Nice quiet relaxing hotel, great views from verandah of Deluxe rooms. Unfortunately restaurant is Well OVER priced and as such the ritual of the 6pm phone call trying to get us to eat there soon wore thin. Great postion to access all of the Hunter valley has to offer.

Hotel was nice and an effort was made, some things were however a little upsetting. The mini bar was not stocked on arrival, The computer system/staff prompted me to pay for the stay and breakfast twice allthough everything was settled before we arrived. Plates and cuttlery at the breakfast buffet weren't really clean. On the contrary, the reception […] staff was very helpful and friendly and the overall appearance of the hotel was very pleasing. I wont blame the hotel for the loud moaning noises from the neighbouring room but a little more sound proofing might be an idea ;) Hotel was definately suitable for our needs, but next time I might give another place a shot.
