We were only at the hotel for one night and three meals. The food was excellent as was the service and the staff. We were a little disappointed in the use of the internet system as we were cut off while using the system during check out even though we had over 40 minutes remaining on our "bought time". We were offered an upgrade to a better room for $15, however they never informed us that this room was in a new block and was a mojor walk to get to it. On ariving at the room it was not much bigger than the main rooms. Yes the bathroom was larger however, the bath plug was broken and the hot water in the shower fluctuated between hot and cold. One […] of the beds in the room felt like you were sleeping on raw springs. Not at all happy, complained at main desk at check out all we got was a blank look. Devamı

First rate hotel for an overnight stay for our flight next day. Close to south long stay car park - 5 mins walk. There was a problem with the fire alem going off for no reason but I expect this was a one off.

Extremely rude members of staff on several occasions. Rooms very primitive for price paid. Do not recommend

Managed to find this hotel after poor signage in Terminal. Bathroom needs refurbishment,Bed moved when I sat on it. Very good breakfast and for this reason I would recommend it.

The hotel has been refurbished. The first room smelt of smoke but the hotel were extremely accommodating and changed me immediately to another room. I was offered an upgrade for a small extra cost which I accepted. The hotel is convenient as an airport hotel based in the south terminal but is also very conveniently linked to London by the London Express. […] I would definitely recommend the Hilton Hotel at London Gatwick Airport. Stayed there the night before an early flight to catch a 6 nations match. Efficient, courteous and helpful check-in. Couldn't afford the fine dining restaurant so tried the carvery / buffet. the hotel is connected to Gatwick south terminal. the staff was efficient, but the room is more like a Ramada than a Hilton. Rooms are small. I was given a room close to the smoking section that really smelled of smoke. the lobby is nice, also the rooms have no access to the flight status screens. handy and quieter than expected. Room alright, couldnt get uplighters to work and bathroom was strandly updated (old toilet new sink) overall handy for an early flight

The hotel was selected for its very close proximity & covered walkway direct to South Terminal. We had no complaints re the room & enjoyed a very nice bar snack which was a reasonable price for a 4 star hotel. We were originally given a room which was closed for renovation & told to go 2 different routes to access it but on complaining to another friendlier […] member of staff rcvd apologies & given a room on the 4th floor. The bar staff were very welcoming & efficient. The only other irritation is when u try to access the hotel walkway from Gatwick Airport on being dropped by the car parking company. The signs are not at all clear & we ended going up & down 2 lifts as the first lift takes u to the 2nd floor only when u want the lst floor! Devamı

Stayed one night at this hotel last December with my family arriving late from holiday. Did same last year and stayed at the Sofitel, which is a identical hotel located at the other terminal ( which was much better, and cheaper as well) The Hilton does not have any wireless internet, which is frustrating as many modern devices does not have any cable […] connection. We arrived so late that the restaurants were closed, but tried room service. They did not even answer the phone the first hour I called. The room was freezing cold on arrival, and there was no minibar, which I would expect when you are staying in a Hilton hotel. I am not a very picky guest, but I travel a lot. Stayed one night before flying out on holiday. I found that it is badly sign posted but not sure if that is due to some maintenance work that was going on in the airport or not. It is on the grounds of the airport and only a short walk from the terminal. It is covered at all parts of the route but does go outside so could be a bit chilly in winter […] but you will stay dry from all but the windiest rain. The hotel staff were welcoming, the room surprisingly spacious and perfectly comfortable with no airport noise noticable. Basically a great hotel and its location is its biggest feature. Some little things annoy. WiFi Internet use must be all in one chunk. Very unreasonable. Removal of key card should leave lights on for 30 seconds or so to allow departure from from. Small but annoying when you are striving for perfection.

This hotel is ideal for anyone with an early morning flight. You can leave your car and now the terminal has been refurbished you can have a drink and meal at a very reasonable price the evening of your stay. I will definately use this again.

We had a very quiet and comfortable room. The buffet breakfast was very nice.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedroom was comfortable but the bathroom had no toilet brush.

We were pleased to be able to walk to terminal for an early flight.

This is a nice hotel and very close to all airport terminals. We were flying from north terminal so I was worried that it wasn't going to be close, but it was. Everything was under a covered walkway and clearly signed. When we got there, we were upgraded to a nicer room (!). Employees were very nice and helpful. Everything was clean and friendly. Breakfast […] is an extra charge but worth it if you have an early flight. As other reviewers have commented, the internet is the one sticking point: you must pay to access it, which I didn't, so I can't comment on speed or anything else. The hotel was very convenient to find from the airport to the hotel. Since our time was extremely linited before an early morning flight we requested a room with easy access to exit and airport., We were told at the deak that this request would be honored. I had a std double - plenty spacious enough for a short stay. Room looked refurbed. smart, shiny and clean. Quiet at night too. Big tick. Breakfast buffet was included in a good rate I got on-line but too expensive otherwise. Brilliant value for money, 3 adults shared a family room loads of space and very quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic, you name it, it was there. walk to the terminal and off you go. Great

I missed my flight and had to book at the last minute for a night. It's a short walk to the terminal, so very convenient. The hotel itself is pleasant and there's a good variety of places to eat.

Carvery meat is only pork or beef. Beef is carved medium so expect it to be pink/red in colour. I asked for no pink/red meat and was served 3 slices of fatty grisle. Vegetables were overcooked and luke warm. Not the usual vegetables you would expect to accompany a carvery - i.e. no roast potatoes, or parsnips. Very poor value for the money charged. You can hear everything from people upstairs and in the hallway. No free wifi.

The accommodation was satisfactory for the one night. However, the condition of the bathroom was an unpleasant experience with a tap that wouldn't turn off and mildew around the bath. The cord for the iron was frayed exposing the wires and could quite easily cause a shock. This was reported to the staff on our checking out, but without any subsequent […] feedback. On the positive side the carvery in the garden restaurant was tasty although a tad expensive. Close proximity to the South Terminal was the reason for our stay. Devamı

Compared to most European hotels this one is pretty good, but its not up to Hilton's North American standards. Couldn't be more convenient if you have an early morning flight from Gatwick - it's attached to the South Terminal so you can walk from your room to your flight.

This was just so convenient and comfortable. Dinner in the dining room was very nice and a reasonable price. No grest views from the window - but I didn't care as it was just where I wanted to be for easy check-in in the morning. Cou;ld really have done with an extra couple of electicity sockets as the clock had to be unplugged to plug in the kettle […] - them both removed to charge my phone! Devamı

What a pleasant surprise! This hotel offers a wonderfully convenient location when flying in and out of Gatwick. A short walk through a connecting tunnel and you are there - no cabs, no shuttles etc. The breakfast buffet, which was included, had everything from bacon and eggs to fruit to waffles and pancakes. The hotel may be a little "tired" when walking […] through the halls, but the room was clean and quiet and the bed comfortable. Definitely we will stay there again and would recommend it to others. It was very nice staying at the Hilton Gatwick Airport Hotel. We were able to get a good nights sleep before heading for home the next morning. However, there is no Wifi in the rooms and you have to pay a fairly high price to use it in the lobby. That is the only thing that we weren't happy with.

The Hilton, Gatwick is an oasis of comfort and calm in the tumult of this busy airport. The food and service in Amy's Restaurant are excellent.What this hotel provides is in extreme contrast to the inferior food services,stressful overcrowding and long uncomfortable hours of travel provided by most international airlines. Well done!

Beautiful hotel, friendly staff, clean. But beware, if you have to spend any considerable amount of time there, there is NOTHING in the area. Luckily, you can wander in and out of the airport at will, and there's lots of food stores and shopping in there. And why is Hilton so stingy with their wifi?? The location is very convenient, the staff are fabulous, and the service is excellent.

The best thing about this hotel is its convenient location; 5 minute walk and you are in the south terminal at Gatwick. The hotel room is spacious, very clean and comfortable. But be aware the food prices are very expensive (I had an average burger and chips which cost me £14!) and the staff extremely snooty and unfriendly. If you have time; eat somewhere […] else. Devamı
