"Big and busy hotel in a great setting"
I chose the hotel for it's location, looks and facilities. I should have realised that it would be big and busy with weddings and golfers. The staff were very friendly and very helpful and I have no complaints but I was a little disappointed at the limited menu in the restaurant. The quality of what I had was very very good and a limited choice makes […] sense with the number of functions taking place but I had hoped for something rather more imaginative. Not the best choice for a solo woman traveller - no quiet lounge for after dinner coffee and brandy so retired to my room rather earlier than I would have preferred. Devamı
"Beautiful building,poor service and comfort"
The approach to the hotel was wonderful. Parking was a problem to the rear of the hotel where much of the accomodation is situated. Few spaces and little to room to manoever when it was apparent that there were no spaces! On arrival at our superior twin double room for our family. 2 parties were in progress at 5pm either side of our room. It took me […] 4 attempts to contact the reception desk by phone. The call at 2am when the parties resummed were more effeciently dealt with - but would have liked the option to move to a same spec room earlier in afternoon, to avoid the repeated calls. We ate in the Tempo restaurant. The overpriced burger meal was so inedible that we photographed it...the burger was charred and hard - my teenage son literally couldn't get his teeth through it. Interestingly the waitress, probably fed up with moans shrugged it off as the "Marriott way" the chef had to cook them. We also shrugged and left. Only 5 days earlier we had spent the night at the Novotel in London Bridge and had an excellent stay as a family. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.....we couldn't have had 2 more different experiences in one week. Devamı

"Breadsall Priory - Great Base For Derbyshire Dales"
Great hotel close to the Derbyshire Dales. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Facilities were great and the hotel is a stunning building. Slight maze to get from our bedroom to breakfast but it was worth the walk. Spa facilities are good, although pool is slightly small and can look busy if more than 6 people in it at any one time. Gym was […] well equipped. I had a massage on one day. It was slightly pricey compared to other places but the beautician really knew her stuff. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a nice, relaxing break but who doesn't need to be in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Devamı

"Excellent stay"
Stayed with my partner in Dec 2011 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The restaurant only opened in the evening and was a little dated but the service was great. The bar area served food throughout and is where we purchased our lunch, a little more like a Weather spoons to be honest.. Food was great but some of the staff were a bit slow. Loved the grounds […] and spa facilities and the beauty parlour was a good price. Would definitely stay again. Devamı
