This resort exceeded all of my expectations. I honestly cannot say enough about our experience. We resort is beautiful; it is the most stunning hotel that I have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The customer service was outstanding. We were greeted at the door, given a tour, and our room was upgraded (checked in on a Monday). We will be back to […] Disney again (hopefully annually) and will ALWAYS stay at Wilderness Lodge. Also, it is so convenient - 5 min boatride (never waited longer than a few minutes for a boat) to Magic Kingdom, Contemporary, Fort Wilderness, etc. Devamı

Our stay at the Wilderness Lodge was fantatic. The rooms were very comfortable, staff was friendly and the grounds are picturesque. My wife and I's favorite part is being on Disney grounds and how convenient it makes getting to the theme parks and back. It is worth the price increase of staying there...makes the vacation so much more enjoyable!!!

The beds were hard and uncomfortable. Over all I liked the beauty of the hotel and its surroundings.

The Wilderness Lodge is a beautiful hotel with many amenities, but our room on the 4th floor smelled musty and damp. We expected more from a hotel of this caliber.

We had an enjoyable stay at the Wilderness Lodge. Guest service was very helpful and lots of extras to keep the kids busy and entertained. Make reservations if eating dinner at one of the Lodge's restaurants, or you'll be waiting forever. We would return again.

A great and fun stay. A good souveneir shop with sensible pricing, quality of food in main resturant was poor but much better in the Artist Point Resturant. The hotel offers activities to keep children entertained and for adults to relax. Great work out room and easy access to parks. I recommend this hotel while visiting Orlando Florida.

We were pleasantly surprised when we got checked in our room at 1:30 pm. Room was accesible, although we didn't require it, so the walk in shower was a bit different than having a tub/shower. From the minute you go through the gates entering Disney you are transfered to another dimension. The lodge foyer was simply amazing and looks remarkably similar to Yellowstone. The geyser erupts every hour by the pool and spa. The rooms were apointed nicely, and above average. We were allowed an early check in as the season was early and a late check […] out to enjoy the pool. Beautiful hotel,clean and only a boat ride away from Disney...

This was a great hotel for frequenting Magic Kingdom. The ferry was quick and easy, a fun way to travel there. We never waited long for the ferry. Travelling to other Disney locations involved using the bus system but that worked well too. We never waited long. The room was exactly as advertised. The kids loved the bunkbeds. Disney and I turned 40 this year - I grew up thanks to my father going to Disney a couple of times a year from Pennsylvania. This year my parents and children decided to stay at the Wilderness Lodge. The rooms were clean size was decent but service was the worst that I have ever experienced in any hotel in my life. The staff at the front desk did not […] know what they were doing – we got in before our room was ready and they never text or phone me when the room was ready. The full service dining was mediocre. The quick service was downright slow to the point that my kids fell asleep before I could order b/c there was not enough people staffed – the park closed at 10 pm the restaurant is open till midnight – there is a rush when the park closes – staff it. And then the concierge gave us incorrect information on getting to the park early b/c of breakfast reservations. The front desk then treat me rude b/c I questioned a charge on the bill. The only good thing was that the boat ride to the park was easy. Not saying that I will not stay in the park again – but I will go back to the Dolphin. Prior to the vacation I had my wife 90% convinced into buying into Disney’s Vacation Time Shares – I am sending back the information after this experience. Devamı

We love the Wilderness Lodge. This was our second visit here, and again, we had a lovely stay. The lodge has the feel of the rustic lodges of our National Parks. Lots of neat special touches that Disney is so good at. If you get a chance, take the Wilderness Lodge tour. Very interesting and fun. If you are going to the Magic Kingdom, look no further than this hotel. Awesome access to the park and the grounds and service is great. The club level concierge is the best I have seen at any hotel ever. Very accommodating.

Awesome, awesome hotel. Had so much to do for kids and adults! Would def go back!

This was our first time visiting the Orlando, Disney Parks. We were surprised at how courteous the staff was. We went to Epcot and Disneyworld. You can take a shuttle to both locations. They also offer the option of having everything (even park admission, food, souvenirs) charged to your room. If you have kids, there are activities daily, such as movie […] night. Next time we go, we may have a day to just veg at the hotel. We didn't have a chance to utilize the pool, but it was open pretty late till around 10 pm. The seven of us shared two rooms. It was great. Hotel rooms are far from elevator, going down hallway after hallway. Just thinking we were near and around the corner is another hallway, "Disney"d. Other than that, it was all very nice. We ate room service when all reservations were booked. It was good food and very convenient. When we were ready to […] check out, we called ahead for bell service to get our bags down and got our valet car delivered before we checked out so we didn't have to wait when we were ready to leave hotel. Don't get me wrong --we really enjoyed being at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and friendly, and my 4 year old son LOVED this place. The only complaint I have is this: I had specifically asked for a quiet room -- I said I didn't care about the view or the size of the room or anything, I just wanted it to be quiet. The room we were given was […] very lovely and it happened to overlook the beach -- which is where, every night at 9:30 pm, they show an outdoor MOVIE -- LOUDLY. Not a problem if you are out enjoying the parks and not in your room trying to sleep, which is exactly what we were trying to do the second night of our stay. I called the front desk and they were very apologetic. They were kind enough to move us to a different room where we couldn't hear the movie, but it turned out that from this room, we could hear the people in the nearby swimming pool until about 10:30 at night. Not the hotel's fault -- you'd think guests might show a bit of consideration and be quiet at that time of night, but I found that many people vacationing here were not very considerate. We would be woken up by people talking loudly in the halls at 11:30 at night. Anyway, I don't know if any of the other Disney property hotels are any better, or any hotels, period, and I will say that this one was very nice in every other way. It's just not very quiet. Devamı

Excellent as always from Disney. I am lucky that I live in Florida and look forward to staying at each and every disney location. The staff is amazing and friendly!

As two adults traveling to DW, you need to just accept every where you go there will be lots of children. The room was small but clean and enjoyable. They gave us a king as requested that had a lovely accessible bathroom. The best food was in the very loud canyon cafe but if you are in the right mood you can enjoy the wonder of Disney figuring out how […] the little (noise invoking) things can thrill children. Devamı

We loved the Wilderness Lodge but have stayed at the Epcot area resorts and prefer the proximity to the parks and the shorter bus rides compared to the relative distance from the Wilderness lodge. the service at Disney Resorts have come a long way. The whole process from checking in to housekeeping was extremely professional.

We choose this hotel for its proximity to the Magic Kingdom and easy access by boat/monorail. It came in handy when traveling with a 4 year old and a baby. Even during the off season, the buses were packed to capacity. Boats come about every 15 minutes with a 5 minute ride to the Magic Kingdom. The monorail can be picked up at the MK or Contemporary […] to travel to Epcot. Other parks are within a 15 minute drive. Hotel has great amenities: several pools, great atmosphere (hot spring, geyser, Western decor), many day activities for the family, movies at night, beach (no swimming), nearby watercraft rentals, wildlife (we saw several deer on the grounds). Make sure to view the lighted night parade on the lake. It was a great memory for us. I would recommend the courtyard view. Have to be careful when booking to not get the standard view which overlooks the parking lot and the roof. From research and experience, this hotel seems to have its shops/restaurants nearer than the other resorts. Would definitely stay again if the price was right. Saved about 40% when booking with Hotels.com. Best rates I could find. If having trouble booking for a certain date, I would recommend checking the week or a few days before your trip. Disney requires 1 week cancellation and many rooms at the resorts start opening up during that time. Devamı

This hotel blew me away when I visited earlier in the year, and decided to stay there with a friend last week. The grounds, hotel, and rooms are beautiful. The restaurants are delicious, and the service excellent.

when booking I was told room had 2 queen beds and bunk beds. It ended up it had 1 queen bed and bunk

Gorgeous hotel, best theming in the whole resort. Beautiful pool, kiddie pool, waterfalls, courtyard, nature trails, beach. The lobby area and many lounges throughout the guest room floors are charming. Scent of pine outside is lovely and refreshing after a hot day at a theme park. The boat to Magic Kingdom was delightful and convenient. Service from […] concierges, room service staff, and front desk staff was superb. All at a much lower price than the Grand Floridian, Polynesian, or Contemporary. Down sides: Room itself is fine, with pleasant balcony, but nothing extraordinary like the public areas of the hotel. Worse, even at a relatively quiet time of year, the sit-down restaurants were 100% booked up for our entire stay, leaving the Roaring Fork snack bar as the only dining option. Service at RF was shockingly bad, not just bad by Disney standards, but objectively terrible. The food itself was decent, but it was torture to wait in a long line while the ONE (1!) staff member, who communicated like an extra from "Deliverance," s-l-o-o-o-o-o-w-l-y made one five-minute sandwich after another. No employee there was in ANY kind of hurry, even when six or seven families were in line for food or to pay. "Quick service" indeed. Inexcusable, and a real contrast with the top-notch service in the rest of the hotel. That's the reason I couldn't give the hotel 5 stars. Devamı

The hotel was more than we expected! Great value, great location and it made for a great stay! Stayed there with 2 young children and they loved it! Great pool, great location cannot say enough good things about our stay and this hotel!

This was a fabulous hotel with one exception (internet). We stayed at Yellowstone's Old Faithful Inn last month, which this is patterned after, so the comparison was interesting and very accurate. It was a fabulous place to stay and the rate was competetive since we got a deep discount through hotels.com. My one nitpick is they charge for internet access […] and use neanderthal ethernet cables rather than wireless. My first night there I couldn't sleep so I got up and went to the lobby (so as not to wake my wife), but since there is no wireless, I had no internet access. I went back to the room, finally found the ethernet cable hanging in the closet, but still couldn't get on. They have 24 hour tech support, but again didn't want to call from my room because my wife was sleeping. The next day the tech finally deduced that we had a bad cable and replaced it. I think in the 21st century, wireless internet should be considered a cost of doing business and figured into the establishment's rates, rather than nickle and diming us and using outdated equipment (cables). Other than thayt, service was outstanding. I had a small cooler of frozen treats that I was carrying cross country for relatives and they easily accommodated this by sticking it in the freezer for me. The boat ride to Magic Kingdom was convenient and efficient. October was also a pleasant surprise as a great time to visit - we had no more than a 2 minute wait in line before lunch at any of Magic Kingdom's major rides! Devamı

Hotel experience was very good. Heads up: if you're going to take the bus to EPCOT- DON'T!! It took 40 minutes plus a 38 minute wait for the first bus of the day. Take the boat to the transportation center then get the monorail to EPCOT.

I coulnd't have asked for a better expierence. Very friendly and helpful staff, beautiful grounds, perfect location, peaceful hotel & great value for the money.

We've stayed at Wilderness Lodge 3 or 4 times & have always loved it. Beautiful, immaculate hotel w great pool and variety of restaurant choices, fast boat ride to Magic Kingdom is far nicer and easier than dealing w buses or WDW parking lots/ferries/monorail combos. Great staff- except the maids and bellman BOTH mornings woke us up banging around very […] loudly and having really loud conversations right outside in the hallway at or before 8a.m. after we had gotten back at 2a.m. from park closing. Many of the rooms around us also had the "privacy please" sign hanging off the door, so there were a number of people still trying to sleep. Was absolutely exhausted but still happy after the weekend - couldn't wait to get back to our quiet house. I'd stay there again next year, but would impress on the mgmt upon checking in about the noise experience. Devamı

We absolutely love this hotel. the only advise we have is, if you want to dine at one of the restaurants make sure you make a reservation. other wise you will not be able to eat there, it is so busy. Our room was absolutely beautiful, but there was a very bad smell on one of the bed spreads. Our request for the highest room possible was wonderful, we […] couldn't have asked for a better location.
