Isaacs Hostel - Dublin

Great staff very helpful, comfortable but basic it is an hostel but a happy place to stay for the money and friendly would recommend for an inexpensive visit to Dublin.

This hostel was ok. However, the rooms are mixed-sex, and this should be made very clear before booking. I wasn't happy about this. Self-service breakfast is nice.

Clean, modern, reasonable...can't really fault it. Stayed in 2 bed room, showers were great , bathrooms clean. Really can't fault it ,stay here and try and go to the free tour of Dublin.

I like this Hostel! The staff are really friendly. It has a good atmosphere. 5 minutes from Spire, but in a good place. You should bring earplugs, because there is the train near the Hostel. But if you don't focus bad things you will not get bad things! Wi-fi is working all the time, but just in the hall, which is enough! Really a priceworthy hostel, close enough to pubs and restaurants.

The trains going by outside and the talking of people in the street late at night , made it hard for me to sleep. I could have ignored that, however there was a back and forth sloshing sound coming from the other side of the room. Laundry works good and liked all the downstairs areas. Had fun watching popular American comedy cartoon downstairs.Couldn't […] log onto the Wi-Fi though and was just too tired from lack of european social skills to bother asking. Great place for people on a Budget. Can get a little noisy at night with people walking in the corridor. All amenities are clean and safe, but it is shared.

As my first hostel experience i was very impressed. Very friendly staff, clean accomodation, and brilliant facilities. Would recommend for anyone visitng Dublin.

This very pleasant hostel is convenient for all central Dublin attractions and main bus station; simple, basic accomodation but clean and well-maintained; friendly, helpful staff; excellent facilities although the shared kitchen is a bit of a bun-fight at breakfast time; highly recommended as a low-cost, clean, well-run and ideally situated hostel.

Nice hostel, nice clean rooms and toilets and showers. Good service. Overall I was very satisfied, but the problem was a verz loud night due to partying in neighbouring rooms, impossible to sleep. Looks like a party-hostel with young crowds. Would recommend the hostel to anyone, but the noise in the night can be terrible, prepare earplugs!

Location + price fine. On checkin was handed envelope of tickets for "fruit juice,cereal,toast,tea/coffee" Room had towels but no soap or shampoo, also a kettle but no tea,coffee or milk. Towards the end of my first (rather good) breakfast I was informed my booking did not include breakfast. I returned later with a voucher + this seemed ok. Next time […] I took the voucher + was escorted to a side room + provided with only items described. I didnt see any restrictions on breakfast when I booked, but didnt have hard copy with me then. Possibly I should have complained , but I'll just book elsewhere next time. Devamı

Used this hostel as a cheap alternative to a hotel as I was in town to run the Marathon. For hostel standards it's really good. Clean surrounding, polite staff and the only vending machine that serves beer I have ever seen - love it! The only two drawbacks where the so called 'continental breakfast' I think that is a bit misleading as all you get is […] toast with butter or jam, cereal and milk and tea or coffee. I have stayed in many places and that does not constitute a continental breakfast. Fruit salad, croissants, some eggs and meat and maybe you could call it that! Also the showers where way too cold! brr. Especially the ones downstairs in the basement. It would be nice if there was an individual temperature control. On the whole anyway, very happy with my trip and the exceptionally helpful staff. Would definitely use again but will probably cook my own breakfast. Oooh and another thing it's not very far from the city centre at all. Just a short walk about 10 mins which is really handy and the 747 airport bus stops almost right outside the hostel. Good central position, cheap and cheerful, noisy from the station nearby and young revellerrs going past rooms all through the night. Not so suitable for mature family members other than for a night stop en route to some other destination. we had a separate room for a couple and had to share a conveniences which was unexpected. Kind of loud. You'll want to bring ear plugs if your floor mates are inconsiderate. You have no control over the temperature of the shower which kind of sucks and they automatically shut off every 10 seconds which is annoying.

If anyones a bit wary of a hostel then id say try this one! we had a room for two so couldnt comment on a large dormitory but we felt safe,we knew we had to share toilet/shower facilities but hey ho thats reflected in the the price isnt it? Rooms do exactly what they say on the tin! basic but comfy also having a pint at the bar for 02.50 euro a pint […] is unbeatable in Dublin im sure. it gets busy at breakfast but still a relaxed laid back atmosphere in my books any way. The hostel was in a good central location, only 5 min walk from O'Connell Street. It was next to a railway line, but the noise wasn't too noticeable and no train were running at night. The Hostel itself was clean, modern (parts of it were still being refurbished) and had a fantastic atmoshphere. The communal areas were well furnished and exactly what […] you needed to sit and either relax or eat and drink. The Isaacs was a fantastic hostel, ideal for those on a budget, and although the rooms obviously were'nt as comfortable as those in more expensive hotels, I would say the atmoshpere and amenities more than made up for it. goed hotel,proper onderhouden, veel jonge mensen. geen handdoeken inbegrepen en ook geen kast in de kamer om iets op te bergen of in te hangen, het enige minpunt. Vergeet ook niet de afwas te doen na je ontbijt :-) .

O Hostel é bem localizado, porém, no quarto que ficamos a cama fazia muito barulho. o Chuveiro para o quarto a dois é ótimo, porém o chuveiro para o quarto conjunto é muito ruim, tem tempo regulado e apenas uma temperatura que é muito quente. De res o hostel é ok para quem está viajando de mochilão.

El HOSTAL teien dos aspectos. El bueno y el malo. El bueno es la situación, en el centro y muy bien situado, y que es el precio más bajo que pude encontrar. Tiene buen ambiente y está muy bien climatizado. En cuanto al personal de recepción bien, lo poco que me hizo falta me lo comentaron correctamente, eso sí, en inglés, no te guíes por las banderas […] de la fachada. El malo es varias cosas. En cuanto a la limpieza de la habitación. Durante toda la estancia lo único que hicieron en la habitación fue quitar la basura de la papelera y cambiar de sitio la toalla, que por cierto, cuestan 2 euros cada una que vayas a necesitar y ni siquiera te la cambian si la ensucias, si quieres otra limpia... 2 euros. El servicio de desayuno es bastante demasiado mejorable. El hecho de que la cocina sea comunitaria deja mucho que desear en cuanto a la limpieza e higiene de los cubiertos y platos ya que deben ser fregados por los usuarios al devolverlos a la cocina. Para una esacapada romantica no es recomendable, pero pasar un fin de semana de turismo y visitas, y no usar el hostal nada más que para dormir está bien. Devamı

Jeg skulle sove en natt i Dublin og Isaacs Hostel var helt greit. Tok ti minutter å gå til "byen," hotellet var veldig billig med inkludert frokost og 5 Euro for hamburger og øl. Deler man sovesal (som jeg gjorde) må man forvente at det kommer inn folk seint på natta (så jeg våknet av fem fulle, fnisete backpackere klokka halv tre), men de var hensynsfylle […] og prøvde å være stille. Mulig å leie skap for 2 euro, så følte at bagasjen var trygg selv om jeg bodde på sovesal. Devamı

Das Hostel war im Grossen und Ganzen sauber. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man kann günstig ein Badetuch mieten (für den ganzen Aufenthalt). Duschen und Toiletten hatte es genug und waren sauber. Als Frühstück konnte man Toast mit Marmelade und Butter, Müesli, sowie Kaffe, Tee und Orangensaft erhalten. Das Frühstücksbuffet war direkt […] in der Küche und das gebrauchte Geschirr musste man selber wieder abwaschen, was wir super fanden. :) Mitgebrachtes konnte auch im Aufenthaltsraum gegessen werden. Das Hostel Isaacs ist direkt neben dem Busbahnhof und der Connolly Station (Zug). Für ins Zentrum von Dublin (Temple Bar Street, Einkaufsstrasse) hat man zu Fuss ca. 10 Min. Devamı

рядом автовокзал и ж/д станция Конелли, для транзитных пассажиров - то, что нужно! Персонал веселый и дружелюбный, пабов в округе пруд пруди, до центра пять минут ходьбы.

nice hostel for back packers. Rooms are clean and neat. Convenient location and reasonable room rates. The only problem is noise. It is located in just under the train rail which makes a lot of noise.

Das Personal ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit, die Küche darf von allen Besuchern genutzt werden. Die Zimmer sind weitgehend sauber. Die LAge des Hostels ist super - sehr zentral und in der Nähe von Bushaltestellen. Am Wochenende ist Isaacs Hostel etwas zu voll. Das Hostel verfügt über einen netten Biergarten, der von allen genutzt werden kann, und der […] eine eigene kleine Bar besitzt, an dem günstig Bier zu erwerben ist. Das Hostel befindet sich an einer perfekten Lage. Fuer juengeres Publikum die ideale Unterkunft! Es kann schon mal lauter zu und her gehen. Fuer Laermempfindliche ist es nicht zu empfehlen. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und ortskundig. Die Betten sind nicht sehr komfortabel, aber es reicht voellig aus fuer ein paar Naechte. Die Lage ist top! Besonders […] fuer jene, die nach ihrem Aufenthalt einen Bus zum Flughafen brauchen. Der Busbahnhof befindet sich naemlich sozusagen direkt vor der Tuer... Devamı

Hôtel très propre, personnel agréable et disponible, situation en centre ville idéale avec des commerces à proximité, seul l'ambiance du week end est difficile si on ne fait pas la fête et qu'on veut dormir.

Nästa gång jag åker till Dublin stannar jag definitivt här igen, trevliga människor, både personal och boende. Fräscha rum och badrum.

Le point positif est la propreté et l'esthétique de l'auberge. Le point négatif est un manque d'amabilité de la part du personnel travaillant à l'accueil. Le site nous mentionne qu'il y a un point d'information à l'accueil pour faciliter notre séjour mais lorsqu'on s'y rend, aucun effort n'est effectué pour nous renseigner correctement...

Calidad precio estuvo genial. Además de todas las instalaciones complementarias que hacían la estancia muy cómoda
