Front desk staff was friendly. Room itself was okay - rated about a C. There was only one outlet near the bed otherwise no other outlets convenient for cell phones/laptops. Good: The staff was wonderful and super helpful. Close to Mammoth Cave. The breakfast was decent for the price of the hotel. The Bad: The A/C didn't cool the room, the pillows were terrible and cigarette smoke from the room above came in through the bathroom vent. I would probably stay here again, if I am ever in the area.

So, for an overnight stay, fair. Not too many other options in the vicinity it seems. Was pretty noisy (but maybe that's a Friday night for you). Doors in halls very audibly slammed much of the night and morning. "Interesting" noises coming from upstairs room. The hotel is located nearby gas stations and fast food centers. That's the only plus. The hotel facilities are minimal. The manager was very friendly. This is good for just one night stay. Only complain I had is with breakfast. It's a complimentary breakfast and not at all good. The choice of food was so minimal. It might not be a free service, but […] should have some options. I came in late - left very early. All I needed was sleep and a shower so no need for any other amenities. The bed was just OK, the bathroom very clean. If you are looking for all the extras, this is not what you want. If all you need is basic service - it's a nice quiet place to get some rest. Friendly helpful attendant.

Needed a place to sleep for our (big) family before going to Mammoth Caves and then on to TN. Room was clean and came as advertised. When I first walked up to check in the receptionist said our room was for only one bed, which would have been really bad. Good room for the price but located far from shopping etc. The room was clean and quiet but could use a little updating in the bathrooms with new toilet seats and wall paint. A good location if all you are looking for is a place to spend a night while traveling.

Stayed here to be close to Mammoth Cavern National Park and Double J Riding Stables, both of which were great. Hotel is well-maintained. Breakfast was as expected - toast/muffin/waffles. We enjoyed our stay at the Super 8. The room was big and comfortable- the air conditioning worked great in the 100+ degree heat. We did not have the much desired refrigerator in our room, but upon mentioning it to the front desk staff, she arranged to have one brought in within just a few minutes. More lighting in the bathroom would have been ideal, […] or at least a brighter light. An alarm clock and pad of paper and pen would have been nice, but as we had our own, it wasn't a deal breaker for us. The continental breakfast was very satisfying and the breakfast room was nice; we especially enjoyed the television programming and frequent re-stocking of food. The location of the motel was convenient and easy to find. Staff members were friendly and helpful. There was ample television programming for the evenings when we just wanted to relax. The Country Kitchen nearby provided excellent meals. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Devamı

The check in process was very pleasant and quick. Our non-smoking room had the odor of a previously designated smoking room. The carpet felt damp which gave off a moldy smell as well. Our matress was very comfortable and our linens felt fresh. Overall We were somewhat pleased with our stay and it was equitable for the proce we paid but we will not be […] staying at this particular Hotel 8 in the future when we go back to visit that area again. Staff went beyond expectations to be helpful, thank you! Room was eventually adequate: non-smoking room stank of old smoke but I got used to it, air conditioner needed experimentation and jury-rigging but finally ran ok.

I'm used to staying in "economy" hotels. I can save a few bucks and accept lesser quality. This was the NICEST "cheap" hotel that I've ever stayed at.
