We were a high school robotics team staying in HK for a competition, so we needed fairly cheap accommodations located as close to the Peak as possible. The Ramada was a great deal, the food we had in the cafe was very good, our rooms were clean and comfortable with amenities. Good Hotel but Internet should be made free

It is extremely inconvenient with no free wifi access in the hotel room. However, the free shuttle provided makes it very easy for those who are visiting Macau after HK as it offers direct transport to the ferry terminal. There is also free shuttle to IFC where one could check in their luggage thus saving time to check in at the airport.

Hotel is close to central HK, and great location if you're coming from the Macau Ferry Station. Room and service quality was top-notch. Only downside is that WiFi is not free for rooms, and is only available in the lobby (which can get cold in winter), although there is a computer room which is free for use for guests. Would gladly stay again!

My only complaint about this hotel is that the pillows are pancakes. They brought me extra pillows and blankets cause there is no heat- but that is pretty standard for hk. They really need new pillows!

hotel was well kept, room clean everyday, very spacious room queensize bed, but very firm, took a few nights to get used to it. convenience, plenty of chinese food in area open till 11pm every night, and very cheap and good qaulity food. buses and trams to central hong kong for 25p hk$2.30 hk$12=£1.00. excellent value for money, also airport express […] bus over road for hk$40pp which was cheaper than taxi and plenty of luggage space on bus. atm`s in area, and money changers in office hours. i recomend this hotel to anybody,except those who don`t like a firm bed. no internet access

Isolated & out of the way for most people, but OK for me as I have friends in the area. But those wanting to shop & sightsee & nightlife, there's nothing near. The streets are deserted after 9 pm. The hotel is easily accessible by bus ,tram and to alesser extend th MTR. Because the road in front of the hotel is a one way street , it is a little tricky when coming back to the hotel. It was well located and clean, a little bit bigger size than other HK hotel. But, the bed is too small and two weak, not comfortable due to matt. Anyway, it is well located and reasonable price.

Strange lighting system - you have to put your key card in a slot to keep the lights on. Nobody tells you about this system. They charge you for WiFi even if you are not on line. Old & strange. Would not stay there again.

We stayed there for 4 nights. We booked on line and therefore there was no breakfast included - no big deal. The room was a matchbox, they could have fit 3 of us in like sardines but we decided to upgrade to a suite. When we asked if our upgrade included breakfast they said no - in a rather surly manner. When we asked about the size of our initial room […] the front desk staff were arrogant and surly but not rude. They charged a ridiculous amount for internet but the pub across the road and pretty all restaurants in Hong Kong provide it for free but it would have been nice not to have to carry our computers around with us. The rooms feel old and cheap. The TVs feel like they are from the 60s. These aren't huge complaints but I would have expected more from the Ramada in such a competitive market like Hong Kong but maybe a smile and some polite service from the manager or front desk staff wouldn't have left such a sour taste. The hotel, although not very close to the harbour front, was well located. A tram stop outside the hotel, which linked in with the MTR. Found 2 very good local restaurants. From our group of 4, I waqs the only one who had difficulty sleeping. I found the mattress too hard. Apart from that, no problems at all.

It was comfortable and conveniently placed to the shops,ferry services,etc.

Located on a busy bustling street with all amenities on your doorstep. Food available for all tastes and food markets and food stalls for own convenience. Easy transport to any location. Hotel Staff helpful in advising where to get buses which are the cheapest mode of transport and all have aircon. Hotel Staff all helpful and polite. Not my type of vacation hotel. Beds were hard, pillow (take note only 1 per bed) resembled a mere pillow case and towels were threadbare. This is the first hotel I have stayed in where toiletries came in blister packs, worse very difficult to open. It is not within the shopping centre or major transport hubs. hotel lobby is very noisy & not enough seating area, but shuttle bus service is good

the tram and bus stops are just outside the door! The neighbourhood shops line both sides of the street and further up, the long stretch of shops selling dried seafood begins. Kennedy Town is a little further up and it's a fabulous neighbourhood with lots of drinking places. There's a little of everything around. The location is pretty nice because there is lots of interesting neighborhoods around. However, there are some problems with the hotel. We asked for a non-smoking room, but got a smoking room. When we got to our new room after asking for a change, the room looked like it wasn't fully cleaned up. It was missing water bottles and other toiletries and […] there was trash in the trash bin, including used pantyhose. When we used the shuttle service, the guy was pretty rude and when we were waiting for a pickup back to the hotel, we saw him drive right past us 5 minutes early. Eventually we got a cab and then we found ourselves right behind the shuttle, meaning that the shuttle sped past us and sat around somewhere so that it would get back to the hotel at the correct time as if it did wait to pick up people. Nice and clean but couldn't swing a cat in the room or bathroom. Breakfarst buffet only average. Helpful staff.

My overall review is that the hotel is very close to all amenities and sightseeings locations in Hong Kong and therefore a very good location to stay with during anyones holiday.

The hotel room is somewhat small but still acceptable. The location need either a bus ride / walk or a taxi/cab drive or if you can walk from MTR to the hotel. (Which I did on the way back in the evening).. It's ok and acceptable if you do not expect 5 star hotel luxury and comfort (which I also checked that and I can say it doesn't worth to pay for […] extra 30 sq.feet a lot of money)...There are worst of worst always and believe me it is not worst but surely not the best. This hotel is located in a very busy neighborhood. You walk out to the street, there's tram and bus stops easily assessable. Aside from that, tons of local food near by, and if you want something in the wee hours of night, you can easily go to the 3 nearby 7-11s or the 3 nearby Circle Ks. Free Chinese newspaper is right down the street every morning. […] And it is some-what close to the Wester Market. The lobby was older looking but the staff were very helpful and very efficient. But don't let that fool you, the room was spacious by Hong Kong standard. The place is nice, and good for what you need it for, after all, you're not staying much in the hotel. They do have a Chinese restaurant on the Ground Level, a breakfast buffet in the Basement and a bar (which is mostly empty) on 5th floor. Good for what you need it for, a good night sleep. Ramada HK is a business hotel of high quality. Perhaps the best hotel in the neighborhood ; certainly the best rooms. Central or Macau Ferry by tram or bus is 10 minutes away. Plenty of local eateries around. Value for money at all times.

Overall, the hotel is fine. The rooms are a good size for Hong Kong and the location has good access to the transit system. The gym as a big let down. I chose this hotel as aside from the location, I wanted access to a gym. The gym area was small and really did not have much equipment there.

The beds were pretty small and hard. The Courtyard by Marriott is right across the street and the beds are bigger and more comfortable.

It was a surprise when we arrive at our room. Wow, realy big, comfortable and clean and I felt like home. I really recommend this hotel.

The Hotel is fair and a good overall experience. Bad location and no MTR connection nearby. They charged us a service fee for each phone call which was 6 times the advertised amount!!! I enjoyed my stay at the Hong Kong Ramada. The service people were polite and the desk clerks spoke english. there was a convenient shuttle to the nearest subway station. i thought the price was great and i would stay again.

Good service , easy to go to hotel and from hotel to another place by Tram, by bus.

My family and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel due to top notch facilities such as the computer room, gym, restuarant and bar, The staff were always available with a door man on staff to help guest with their baggage. The hotel is close to central yet also secluded it is situated in a neighbourhood area of hong kong yet transport links such as the tram […] and buses connect with the mtr and therefore central. The hotel room is clean,roomy.and the air conditioning system is very efficient. Only shower module been provided at my room,and it is ok for small people. Even though the hotel is not at prime tourist location,it is only 10-15min away by local transportation. The hotel wasn't bad. The only thing that was small was the shower, it was like a port a potty shower size. Other than that you get a shuttle bus every 1/2 hour to MRT which takes you everywhere you need to go in Hong Kong. I think next time I will try the Marriott which is right up the street.

Only 10 min away from city center by tram, which stops in front of hotel. Our room has been upgraded from Deluxe to Suite for free. Room was big enough for a couple and it was clean. Clean towels every day (but no carpet vacuuming, so if you drop something make sure you can easily find it even after 5 nights). Service staff very nice and helpful. We did not use a Fitness center but we saw it - small room with 2 numbers of "running track" and 2 numbers of "bicycle".
