The Astoria Residence hotel is easy to get to from the Railway station and is in the centre of Parma.The room was very comfortable as was the double bed after a journey of seven hours!!. On the minus side,you can hear every train that enters and leaves Parma but not not so bad as to complain about.

We stayed here for a night. The hotel has an excellent location right outside the station and found the staff to be helpful as well. The breakfast was ordinary. The room was clean and well furnished...no complaints!!

The Astoria Hotel has a perfect central location at a reasonable cost. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotels best feature is their helpful and friendly staff. If I could suggest a weakness it may be that the breakfast is average while everything else is very good. I would recommend it to others and hope to stay there again myself.

Good breakfast. Excellent service. Very quiet, clean and comfortable room. The heater was on maximum but unfortunately the room it was not very warm. Free internet for only 1h was a negative too. Generally, very satisfying.

I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Although close to the railway station, the soundproofing in the room was excellent. The room itself was clean, although the decor looked a little tired. The heating in the room was only just adequate even when turned up to maximum, and not sure how it would manage in cold weather. Very little work space on the desk, […] most of it being occupied by the very large television. The bed was comfortable., but breakfast was disappointing, with no hot dishes. There was free wifi for one hour, but then you have to pay for any additional use. Why don't hotels offer this as a standard feature now? For business travellers it is not a luxury - after all, you're not expected to pay for other utilities (water, electricity). Devamı

Staff at this hotel couldn't be more helpful. Excellent location close to the railway station where the local bus from the airport stops. Transfer to the airport takes only 10-15 minutes. All the main sights are within 10 minutes walk. Comprehensive buffet breakfast

Struggling to add anything else, would I use it again? Maybe

The Astoria Residence Hotel was just a block away from the Parma train station, which made it very convenient as I did not have to drag my luggage all around town. This town is a CF if you don't know what that means it's not good. There is not much to see except a bunch of poor people wondering about. We rented a car and drove down to TORRECHIARA to view the castle which was very nice. This is about where the Italy landscapes turn nice so i would recommend staying down there and the towns right south of there […] but not in Parma itself u will be disappointed. People drive like crazy and It is a really old filthy place. The hotel staff was excellent however and they all were very happy to help and spoke very good English. The hotel is old and nothing special and just dated. The hotel is right at the train station which I have found its a double edged sword. Its just like in the US. The hotel was a 10 minute walk from the city centre and very close to Parma railway station. It was clean and comfortable and staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. It is a good relatively inexpensive base for a stay in Parma. There is internet access for guests and the tv in the room had access to TV channels in English, CNN […] and BBC World News. Devamı

The staff at the hotel is excellent and very helpful. Rooms are clean. It is a short walking distance to the centre of Parma.

This hotel was a nice European hotel with the typical amenities. They allowed a check-in before the usual 2pm one but I did have to wait 15 minutes for it but that was nice of them. Breakfast was included and nice. Our room was facing towards the old city part of Parma so was quiet. Best to ask for this view as the Hotel is next to the train station […] and there are some expresses that run during the night. The windows were tight enough that this was not a problem with sound. Perhaps not the greatest reason to not recommend a hotel, but I did find that they staff here was not very friendly. I won't fault the one lady who didn't speak English very well. There was a gentleman who clearly knew I only spoke English. I asked him a question, and he was in the middle of something and asked me to hold on in a stern voice, and then […] started to speak to me in Italian full knowing I didn't speak any. This may seem trite, but it made me feel as if they didn't take kindly to Americans. I didn't see one smile from the staff while I was there. They don't offer free wi-fi which is ambiguous from the listing. And what they do charge is overpriced. Breakfast was not that good. And somehow they managed to burn the coffee. The room was comfortable and if that's the only thing that is important to you, then you will be fine here. But if you like that little extra service, I would recommend going elsewhere. Devamı

this hotel is conveniently located by the train station, not in the best area, but as soon as you start walking towards the middle of town, the neighborhood clears up. Staff was very nice. Room was not bad, we stayed for one night so we didn't really get a chance to soak it all in. But I would recommend for regular travellers but not for hotel snob […] s. Devamı

The hotel is located on the edge of the city centre area which in itself isn't very large. This is especially convenient if you have a car as the hotel offers parking (for a fee) and the centre area generally is closed off for driving. I've just a quick Bank holiday weekend in Parma and picked the Astoria based on price and location. I wasn't expecting 5 star service, but was still delighted to find a nice, friendly hotel within walking distance to everything you'd want to see in Parma. The hotel itself is a wee bit old school (reddish marbling, not the spruciest exterior) however […] it does the job and doesn't look in disrepair. Two small lifts adjoin the foyer, and nearby there's a dining room where they serve the typical European cold breakfast (which was of a good standard). The room I had was brilliant - a big double bedroom, little mini bar, closet safe, very big, modern and clean bathroom, and a tremendous balcony (not the best view, but a balcony nonetheless). If you can ask for a room on the 6th floor. If I was being constructive (and really, this is being picky here) I'd probably suggest them putting in a big main light for the bedroom - the lights are all spaced away from each other which light up different parts of the room, but it would really benefit having one main light as well. One of my friends mentioned that the air con also switches off halfway through the night, so if its blazing hot it may turn a bit hot. However, as I said this is being picky - the service was great, the rooms functional and clean, breakfast as expected and the location brilliant. Highly recommended. Devamı

This hotel is most cheap in Parma,but still expensive.The breakfast,service and facilities are good.It's safe and light in the neighborhood.

Hotellet ligger i utkanten av stadskärnan, nära tågstationen. Promenadavstånd till det mesta i staden då den inte är särskilt stor. Rummen var okej, fräscha badrum. Finns gratis wifi, men den funkar inte bra. Frukosten standard kontinental med kaffe och croissant.

We voelden ons welkom in uw hotel,het lag prettig in de buurt van alle belangrijke bezienswaardigheden,het treinstation én de familie! Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar!Gaan dit op korte termijn ook doen. Omdat alles op loop afstand gesitueerd was,hebben we ook véél kunnen bezichtigen. Wat ons opviel,was dat je niets van het verkeer hoorde in onze kamer,ondanks […] dat hij aan de straatzijde lag! Het ontbijt was van goede kwaliteit,ruim voldoende en de koffie was heerlijk,kortom prima start van de dag. Devamı

Hotel correcto al lado de la estación de tren y muy cerca del centro de Parma. Limpieza y habitación correctas así como el desayuno.

Visto la Zona, il parcheggio interno troppo caro. Per il resto tutto benissimo. Cordiali, educati, albergo e camere pulite e funzionali. Colazione OK.

Siamo una giovane ma non giovanissima coppia particolarmente esigente in tema di pulizia. Siamo stati all'hotel Astoria due volte e se dovessimo tornare a Parma ci soggiorneremo nuovamente. Oltre che per la pulizia della camera lo consigliamo per la colazione abbondante e per la vicinanza alla stazione dei treni e al centro.

Prettige ligging, kort naast station spoorwegen. Op loopafstand van centrum Parma Ontvangst prima, attent en behulpzaam personeel. Kamer ruim voldoende qua comfort, schoon, netjes. Ontbijt prima. Goede prijs-kwaliteitverhouding

スタンダードツインに3泊しました。 部屋は広くはないけれども落ち着くインテリアで快適でした。特に朝食は、クロワッサンがとてもおいしくてとても満足しました。 立地においては、駅を出て左手を見ればすぐにホテルが見えましたので、初めての町でも迷うことなく着きました。駅から街中へは徒歩5分程度かかりますが、街歩きに疲れたらホテルに戻るには苦にならない距離です。 そして、インターネットが一人30分無料で利用できるというサービスもありがたかったです。 パルマに行く機会があれば絶対にこのホテルを利用したいです。

Das Hotel liegt für Autofahrer besonders günstig, weil eine Garage verfügbar ist. Auch für Fußgänger ist das Stadtzentrum in 7 Minuten gut erreichbar. Das Frühstückbuffet ist gut sortiert - es lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir waren schon fünfmal in de Hotel und können es huten Gewissens weiterempfehlen.

Særdeles hyggelig og hjelpsom kvinne i resepsjonen. Fikk gode råd om restauranter og diverse i Parma Veldig bra beliggenhet i.f.h til togstasjonen; gåavstand med bagasje. Noe av området rett utenfor hotellet virket litt slitent, som det gjerne gjør rett ved togstasjoner, men det føltes trygt og det er en kort gåtur til bl.a. Piazza Garibaldi.

Hôtel très bien situé à 5 min à pieds du centre. Parme est petit et se visite à pied, la situation de l’hôtel permet de faire des allers retours si nécessaire. Hôtel confortable, chambre climatisée et petit déjeuner complet.

Ein paar Schritte vom Zentrum liegt das drei-Sterne-Hotel. Der Aufenthalt lohnt sich, da das Service 100% ist. Dieses Hotel ist für Alleinreisende, Familien, Gruppen etc. geeignet. Die Stadt selbst ist ein Besuch wert, da es gut erhalten ist und für Touristen viele Sehenswürdigkeiten anbietet. Für alle, die nur auf der Durchreise sind, besucht die Stadt […] und wenn ihr müde seid, nehmt euch ein Zimmer im Hotel Astoria Residence. Devamı

Toppenbra, nära stationen, stördes inte av tågen, bra läge, 3 minuter till stadskärnan. Bra service med trevlig personal. Mindre bra: internetuppkopplingen är långsam, och hade många avbrott när man inte alls kom ut på nätet. Frukosten mindre imponerande med få saker att välja på. Totalt dock mycket bra, skulle återvända!!!

Min kæreste og jeg har haft et super ophold tæt på byen - 10 min. gå gang max. Det er et stille og roligt hotel som yder det man forventer og lidt mere til. Vi er været super glade for opholdet og nyt Parma by.
