"with the exception of ....."
the stay at the hotel was fine with the exception of the sauna not functioning/operating. i was told at check in that it was, but found out that evening it wasn't. i called but never got a return call in the morning as i was led to believe. when i inquired at the front desk in the morning, the gentleman indicated yes it wasn't in operational mode and […] they would be addressing it. other than that, everything was fine. "Room 106"
Never take room 106. The voices on the other side of the wall were finally identified as the staff arriving for breakfast preparation, and watching a TV. We were really not interested, and found it rather difficult to sleep. AVOID ROOM 106 BY ALL MEANS.

"Nice for larger family"
We have three kids, not old enough to have their own room, making the standard room difficult. The room we had with 2 queen and a pull out sofa-bed still left plenty of room to maneuver. This is our third stay at various Country Inn and Suites and will not be our last. It was clean and quiet and a great stop-over on a long trip to Florida.
"Did not get what I paid for."
Could not use wifi in my room. Was told to go to the first floor for this. Breakfast selection was poor. Exercise room was closed. The TV's were the old Analog type and the remote only worked for changing the channels. Had to push the power on button on the set before using the remote. Based on my experience, I will stay with the Hampton Inn or Holiday […] Inn express. Devamı

This hotel is easy to get to and right off the highway. I was disappointed the workout room was closed as I like to run. They offered a pass to a local gym, but when I asked the front desk about it she said someone else was already using the pass. They only have one?We stayed in a one bedroom which was not as spacious as other Country Inn and Suites […] we have stayed in, but it was adequate. The pool is a bit small but the kids loved it. It wasn't to bad but the hot tub jets didnt work very good and the exercise room was out of order. They did let you use a local gym that was 24 hrs but they couldn't find the key when I wanted to use it. The breakfast was awesome and the room was very clean. Excellent hotel, breakfast was very good, pleasant surroundings. Definitely would stay there again! Convenient to St. Simon and Jekkyl Island. Convenient to the Mall. Plenty of local activities such as movie theatre and bowling. Great sourthern cooking nearby.

Very nice hotel. Convienient to interstate. Rooms were clean and confortable. TV was older model (not flat screen). Very, very nice complimentary breakfast with several different choices.
"Clean rooms and friendly staff"
Clean rooms and friendly staff. There is an indoor pool that was nice but the business center's printer didn't seem to want to work. The breakfast was very limited but the eating area was clean. I would stay there again plus it had the best price I could find in the area.

The staff was very helpful to us-we were just glad to have found a room considering that it was spring break! The staff helped us to find fine dining, details to sites of interest. We decided at the last minute to go out of town to celebrate our 25th anniversary & decided to try Brunswick-we have already booked another room not in Brunswick but near […] there in St. Simons' if we couldn't get a room in St. Simon's then we would have definitely checked with The Country Inn Suites! This was a very nice Hotel. We were on the way to FL. I need a quick place to stay. It worked out really well. Place was clean , it was very nice .

"Not What We Expected"
When we first arrived, the person at the front desk was very courteous and told us about the free coffee and hot chocolate that would be available in the lobby at all times. Throughout our stay, we were able to have good cups of coffee, however we only had hot chocolate once since it was not always there. He then told us that towels were not ready in […] our room. We were surprised but decided to overlook that at the time. When we got into the room, the room itself was nice. However, when I went to use the restroom, there were pubic hairs all over the floor, toilet, sink, and tub. We could tell that someone had already been to "clean" because of the fresh toiletries and that the shower curtain was tied up. Another thing we found out later is that in order to turn the coffee pot on, you had to unplug the microwave. Also, if you wanted to use the hair dryer you had to unplug it and then plug it back in again. Needless to say, for the price we paid we were expecting something with a little more high class. Devamı

"Odd experience"
We stayed on Christmas Eve, so the front desk person told us that he wasn't the normal employee. We had to ask for extra pillows (I HATE those marshmallow pillows they are using at these chains now!) three times before he ever got them for us, and that was after walking with him to another room to get it. He seemed confused on what to do, and was constantly […] saying he had to call the manager with questions. He also mentioned some shady goings on twice in our five times talking to him. The room looked like it had been cleaned, but it was not exactly spotless. The whole room felt like it could have a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser taken to it: scuffs on the doors, walls, etc. that just make the place feel unclean and grimy. It was quiet, despite being right off the interstate. Breakfast was good, but the service there was also rude. Devamı

I have stayed in this particular hotel on many occasions and have always been very satisfied but this time I am not happy with my stay due to the lousy pillows they have started using. I need firm support poly-fill pillows which this hotel used to have but now all they have are the feather type pillows that give no support. It may seem like a small […] thing but a hotel is all about a good night's sleep to me, and with those pillows that was an impossibility this trip. I will not be going back! Devamı

Stayed only one night while traveling. Very impressed by the hotel's appearance, neatness, and helpful staff. Room was very nice. Only dissatisfaction was that the air handler did not work. In the morning we had a complimentary breakfast and a free USA Today newspaper. Hotel located very close to Interstate. Overall we were extremely satisfied.

I haven't stayed on a hotel so confi, clean, with a homi eviroment, yet bussiness like. The sorrounding were clean, and nature sorrounded, yet we were in the city. Highly recommended.

We had a couple of quirks with the room but nothing that would deter us from staying there again. The A/C wouldn't come on but the front desk clerk talked us through how to reset it. There's a banner that comes up on the TV welcoming you to the hotel but it doesn't go away unless you press the volume control on the remote which wasn't indicated anywhere, […] that was irritating trying to figure out. The pillows were firm only, no soft ones included. The hot breakfast food was powdered eggs, really cheap lousy sausage and hash browns. The fruit was also canned fruit that cheap mushy stuff, we could only eat the peaches. The waffles were good though. No problems with any of the staff, they were all courteous and helpful. We would stay there again because the rates were competitive and the location to I-95 great. Devamı

For the most part, this hotel was satisfactory or better. The exception would be that we asked for a roll-away bed and were told there was only one for the whole hotel, and then we asked for extra pillows and were told none were available.

"Clueless about service"
The room and the hotel were not bad but the personnel were clueless about service. At check-in the clerk ignored us as he was busy with his computer screen - he easily could have made eyecontact to recognize our existance and said that he would be right with us. They proudly displayed complimentary ooey-gooey cookies but the several times that we walked […] past the desk the clerk (same clerk) was in the attached office talking to someone and did not make eye contact and I did not want to have to yell 'hey you' to get his attention. Then there was the 6:30 AM wake up call that we did not request. The dead bolt did would not fully engage and we did not even want to deal with the front desk so if you book room 106, check the deadbolt when you check in. The room was pretty clean and did not have any smells so it was comfortable. The wi-fi worked OK. Devamı

First time staying at this hotel, was very clean, and staff was terrific....Breakfast room was very crowded , I usually stay at Springhill Suites when traveling this time they were booked and I am very satisfied with our stay and will stay again....Liked this hotel better....

Arrived around 8pm Staff at desk was very polite and seem eager to assist. Hotel was beyond clean. I would stay again...
