Travelodge Port Aransas Tx - Port Aransas

so my stay was nice I did not understand why I couldn't check in till 3 and had to check out by 11. I didn't even get the room for 24 hours. in our short time there we also saw 3 baby roaches which is not a good sign for the hotel.

The room was what I expected. A budget price for a budget room. Nothing really to complain about. It is convenient.

Only complaint I have is that I would have liked to be able to check in before 3pm. We went on a fishing trip in the morning and wanted take a shower after, but couldn't and then we had to waste time waiting to check in. Overall experience was good. Convenient location.

Booked on hotels.com a week before my stay. Got a great price. Room was clean. The beds a little on stiff side, but not too bad. The only bad thing was shower curtain holder was bad. Bathroom space needed to make it more comfortable. The room I was in has a space of 6 inches next to the toilet. Come on now. Give us some bathroom Space. Ptac unit needs to be serviced. New units would be better.

It was horrible!!! No lights on outside, dirty ciggs all over & worst of all our tv broke & we had to call the front desk at 9pm to come fix it & instead they just took a tv from another room! Now thats ghetto. & breakfast was cold at 7am! Over all horrible!!!!!

TravelLodge Port Aransas, good location just down from ferry landing, and just min. from beach area, drive out TravelLodge to main road turn left until you dead end into beach. Plenty of restaurants within walking or drive distance. Rooms are secure, theres a barrel BBQ pit that is available for your use( first come first serve). Continental breakfast […] good selection of continental breakfast items, my wife made us waffles. Corpus Christi is about 30min away. If your looking for a clean,secure location with easy access to and from Corpus this is it. The ferry ride to and from Port Aransas is free and plenty of ferries running so thew wait time for the ferry is minimal. Planning on going back for 4th of July 2012. Devamı

my husband and I were very pleased with the place our room was clean and everything worked good when we go back to port A we will be staying there again.

This is a good basic place to stay if you're into savings and no frills. Upon checking in desk clerk was away, so we had to wait a few minutes to check in, but she was friendly and helpful when she arrived. Rooms nice but you had to set the AC very low to keep it comfy. They do have a breakfast in the lobby to get you going in the morning.

Yes, it is extremely old and therefore it should be cheaper. The paint on the walls were peeling off. The showerhead was loose and water pouring out and noisy. The mattress was softer than my pillow. There was four of us adults and two towels. I had to go back to the office and they wanted to see the others for inventory. I told them you can have them […] when we leave I am not making another special trip back downstairs thru the water and thru these that are smoking. The smoke alarm kept going off from two a.m. on till we left. People were coming in and out all hours of the night. Security? No such thing. The people didn't even pick up their trash. The A/C vent guards were off almost every unit. Water was sitting in puddles and my daughter slid a few feet. I told the people in office and they didn't do anything about it. Hotel is very basic and towels were very thin, but the staff was friendly and helpful and the room was clean.

I have stayed at this hotel several times before. It's not the best on the island, but it's not the worst either. It is an old hotel, so there is some wear and tear on the inside and outside. If your just looking for a place to shower and lay your head at night after you enjoy the beach and fishing all day, this is the best place for the price. Pool has to much chlorine in it and fence gives no view.. everything else was great.

I stayed in Port Aransas at the Travel Lodge. The room was clean and staff friendly. I would stay there again. The tub had a crack in it and should be fixed. But that didnt stop me from enjoying my trip. I look forward to my next trip.

The hotel is in bad shape and in need of a maintece man. Everything seemed to be rigged and not fixed properly. Our bathroom had the lightswitch on the outside of the room and then when we went to shower the rod was hanging down so when you took a shower the water went all over the bathroom floor. We didn't plan ahead far enough and had very little if no choice in accomodations. But who goes to Port A to sit in a hotel room? The room was clean and it appeared that the carpet had recently been replaced. We didnt see any bugs as some other review writers complained of, but the rooms and fixtures are overdue for upgrade. There was lots of trash […] in the parking lot and in the 3 days we were there, no effort was made to pick it up. The pool reeked of chlorine which in my experience as a pool owner for 30 years indicates a need for super-clorination. The hotel is convenient to the ferry landing and the beach, situated on Cut Off Rd. It's also walking distance to the new Avery's Restaurant which I highly recommend. Overall, it will do in a pinch as was our case. Any port in a storm. We moved over to the Best Western across Alister and down the street and stayed there the remainder of our stay for same money. Room was clean enough for us. The bed was so hard and uncomfortable...my husband and I couldn't sleep more than 4 hours on it. Laying on the beach in the sand was more comfortable than the mattress itself. The hotel was decent to shower in and change clothes, but I DO NOT RECOMMEND to anyone.

rooms were gross, the pool area was a disaster broken chairs trash every where concrete off the pool was ever where i ask them about maintanance people to clean it up they never did we will never stay again

The pool area was exceptionally dirty. it is obvious that this hotel does not spend money in upkeep and maintenance.

I will definately stay at this hotel again when visiting Port A! It is quiet and in a convenient location to bars, beach and dining.

THE BATHROOMS WERE AWFUL, SAND WAS LEFT IN BATH TUB FROM PREVIOUS PEOPLE, TOILET MOVED FROM RIGHT TO LEFT AND LOOSE. BED WAS STIFFER THAN A BACKBOARD. ONLY ONE LITTLE PACKAGE WITH TWO SMALL SUGARS, TWO LITTLE PACKETS OF COFFEE PER MORNING. WALLS OF BATH ROOM WERE AWFUL WITH RUSTED CAULKING ON FRAMES OF DOOR. Hotel & employees very nice. Close to walk to beach and shopping and restaurants.

Nice location for what we had planned to do. Price was ok for that area. Did't have time to eat the breakfest or try the pool. Room was clean just a little old.

the beds were very hard and uneven,you would roll to the center of bed

The bathroom is very small! When we asked the front desk clerk she said that they were built before hotels were requred to have handicap rooms. The only lock on the door was on the handle. The chain and slide had been removed. There were several switches that did not work. Hairdryer plug was blown and did not work. The beds were TERRIBLE! My friend […] and I both awoke in terrible pain from the mattress. The continetal breakfast was nothing to rave or complain about. We ate and left feeling fine, coffee in hand. Horrible service, dirty, and poorly maintained!

This was a great place to stay. Very cheep rates, large nice rooms, full size refrigerator and a comfortable bed. The staff were very helpful recommending places to go and eat. The Inn was one block from all the shops in town and about seven blocks from the beach. The rooms itself were very clean but did have some miner water damage in the bathroom, […] nothing big. Although there were a few rough edges to the wall behind the bathroom sink, overall, the room exceeded the reviews we had read when considering this place. We were happy with the price, location, size of the room and the cleanliness of it. The staff was helpful and friendly. We recommend.

Hotel was comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel and I would stay here again myself.

Room was great overall kinda dirty but thats to be expected in the salt air. The sink had a leak in it so the floor stayed wet most of the time didnt appear that there was any maid service anywhere to be seen our room was never made up

The Hotel for the price I guess its alright, but am sure we could have found better. We found a roach by the restroom and the room looked like it was about to fall. The walls had many cracks and so.

This hotel was very affordable and close to everything. It is located on a main street that goes to the beach and to the ferry. Would stay again.
