L'Impérial Palace - Annecy

The setting of the hotel on the lake is the biggest attraction. Otherwise, there is nothing terribly special about this hotel. The room is is comfortable, but not luxurious. I think the decor of the room and the hotel overall is dated, and a bit odd. The staff was responsive, but not over overly welcoming. We spend just 1 night at this hotel, and It was awesome ! the view is wonderful, very good service, multilingual staf... Want to come back.

WOW - the view of Lac d'Annecy is spectacular from a lakeside room. One really goes to Annecy for it's majestic qualities anyway! L'Imperial Palace was beautiful on the outside but really needs some updating on the inside. It's 80's rendition of art deco has lost it's appeal. However, the beds are quite comfortable! Breakfast on the terrace and dinner […] was nice - but go out and enjoy the views someplace along the little "Venice" canals in the centre ville. We spent 2 nights at L'Imperial Palace and had had a very lovely stay. The hotel is perched on Lake Annecy, a short stroll from the beach. In warm summer weather, it couldn't be better. It's a bit of a walk to the old town, but mostly along the lake. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very big for French standards and very clean.

This is the best hotel we stayed in Frace during of 21 day trip. It is a true Palace, with spacious rooms, beatifull views of the mou ntains and lake, excelleny restaurant and helpfull staff. Excellent rates and romantic gateaway!!

We had three fabulous days at this hotel. The food was great, the rooms supremely comfortable and well kept and the staff helpful and warm in their manner. It's location on Lake Annecy meant easy and quick access to wonderful swimming in some of the cleanest and sweetest waters I've ever had the pleasure to experience. The food at the hotel was also […] of a very high standard - from the eveing meal, breakfast in your room, breakfast in the dining room/terrace, through afternoon tea or a glass of wine with olives and peanuts - and warranted the hotel/restauarant's Gault Millaut entry. All this made the fact that the food was not cheap worth it, though it may put some people off that breakfast is not included in the room price. If you can afford it though - go for it. You might also want to go for a wonderful meal at the Michelin starred La Ciboulette restarant in the town - a fantastic experience. you then walk back along the lake shore to the comfort of the hotel fully sated in every sense. The one thing that I really didnt not like was the constant presence of a number of sparrows around the restaurant terrace, they were a nuisance and this was not at all helped by the few fellow guests who treated them as pests. But hey, one really cannot have everything at this hotel, with this location - you nearly get it. A great place for a few days away - and probably longer. I'll definitely be back Devamı

"Aah excellency with these ferrero rocher you are really spoling us" is what we thought when we rolled up the driveway - what a palace! Dinner was good (not to high French standard but good for an English crowd) but the view from the terrace was spectacular, beautiful! Perfect location, perfect view from room, great staff, beautiful surroundings. We didn't have breakfast as it was so expensive and we preferred to stroll into the old city for brunch and dinner. All very relaxing.

We very much enjoyed our stay at L'Imperial Palace hotel. We had visited Annecy 3 times before but had never stayed in this high quality hotel.

Very good, friendly etc although getting a touch dated and plumbing was a bit slow!!!

The hotel is beautifully situated on Lac Annecy. It is a bit of a walk to the old town (10-15 minutes) but all in a lovely park setting along the lake. Meals on the veranda were very pleasant, although the breakfast at 25 euros each was quite expensive. The casino is small and only has slot machines. It was a disappointment. la qualità dell'Hotel e dei suoi servizi compreso, a chi interessa l'annesso Casinò ( frequentato da gente un pò squallida - ma non è di mio interesse ), il panoramo del lago e la deliziosa cittadina di Annecy : ottima occasione per un rilassante week end. 2- 3 buoni ristoranti.

Der Service war stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Hotel selbst ist okay, der Ausblick zum See ist traumhaft.

Bel hotel mais le personnel et les prestations ne sont pas a la hauteur d' un hotel 4 étoiles

Nous avons été assez déçu de notre séjour à l'hotel Impérial Palace surtout quand on pense au prix de la chambre et du supplément pour le petit déjeuner (25 euros par personne). Le buffet du petit dej est tout simplement décevant.

Hôtel agréable et bien situé, très bon petit déjeuner buffet. Cela dit la déco est de mauvais goût, et le service assez moyen.

Bel établissement, mais la déco et l'équipement des chambres ne sont plus vraiment d'actualité.

Bien sur, assez cher, mais cela vaut la peine. Le cadre est magnifique surtout si la chambre donne sur le lac. Petit déjeuner buffet correct

Si vous avez une vue sur le lac, vous aurez envie de rester toute votre vie dans cet hotel. C'est incroyable. On n'a meme pas envie de sortir, tellement la vue de la chambre est belle.
