Arcadia Hotel Muenchen Airport - Schwaig-Oberding

Very nice staff. welcoming, the bus from airport came and went on time. The Internet was not included, breakfast was not included. Satellite TV was snowy and no Engish news TV at all, only German. Room was not very warm, but it was cold outside.

There are no English speaking TV news channel (such as CNN, BBC) but they did have triple rated XXX porno English movies for pay. The breakfast is also very expensive (16 Euros). The room rate should have included a coffee machine in the room. For these reasons we cannot recommend this hotel.

I chosen this hotel, since it listed a tea/coffee maker in the room at hotel.com, It is just important for me to have a cup of coffee in the morning as close as possible. There was NO tea/coffee maker! When I asked a staff member at the reception desk about the coffee machine, she was not really polite handling the situation. First, she try to convince […] me that I am " wrong". We checked the website together and found that tea/coffee maker was really advertised. Then, she claimed that the coffee machine was available only in the "special service" room and I had to pay additional 20 euro for this "special service". Eventually, I agreed to pay for coffee brought to my room in the morning at the price 2.60 euro per cup. Shuttle to the airport 9 euro, internet connection for 24 hours-17 euro. Devamı

The hotel charges 9.00 euros for a shuttle but you may take a bus which stops at Terminal 1 #512 and it will cost you only 2.50 euros one way. It takes only 10 minutes from the airport. There is a returned bus #512 which stops in front of the Holiday Inn Express. Overall the stay was terrible. I stayed one night. The restaurant was closed.which was a consideration in choosing hotel,had to leave hotel property to get something to eat.was unable to sleep due to people outside on first floor smoking and talking at 2-4am in the morning, flying bugs in room coming in the window.had to keep window open because room […] was warm. Hotel was pleasant though we were given only one set of towels for a two person room. Breakfast is very expensive: 16 euros. The shuttle ride to the airport is less than 10 minutes and is 9 euros, 18 euros for two. You can walk about 200 yards to the Sheraton and use their shuttle: two people is 8 euros total.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, the rooms were not very clean and had a very bad mildew odour, fortunately we were only there for the night and caught a plane early the next morning. There are a lot of other options to stay around the airport that i would choose next time.

I have always had terrific experiences with Tulip Inn Hotels. This one did not meet the quality standards of the others. While the front desk staff was terrific (very welcoming and helpful), the breakfast was ridiculously overpriced. Seriously...16 Euro for breakfast. There was not any coffee service in room or lobby, and the restaurant in the evening […] was closed for a holiday. There was never a bartender on duty, and the hallways were long and dark. The room was comfortable, but the hotel was missing many of the amenities required for a business traveler. Thank goodness for the Italian restaurant down the street. Devamı

My stay was just for a short night. Everything was as advertised except the hotel shuttle to the airport was 6 Euro each way instead of 4 Euro. When I objected, they charged the lower price. I didn't eat their breakfast since I don't see any way to justify the 16 Euro price. The nearby Italian restaurant was quite good.

A good alternative to the other quite expensive ans sterile hotels in the Munich Airport area. 12 EUR and 5-10 min away by taxi. Nice small hotel with a good restaurant. Additional cost for internet access. Expensive but good breakfast. I got a bathtub in my room which was a very positive surprise.

Nær flyplassen, men på den "gale" siden når man kommer med bil fra München. Mye støy fra flyplassen om natten. Veldig dårlige parkerings-forhold, trangt i garasjen. Ikke lys ved bagasjekrakken på rummet., måtte ha kufferten på sengen for å lete. Både dusjfeste og speilfeste var helt løst. Lite trivelig spisesal, ikke særlig god service heller.
