Comfort Hotel Europa Genova City Centre - Cenova

Our main goal in staying in Genoa was to be able to easily go to Milan and the Cinque Terre. Since the hotel was so close to the train station, it was so convenient. Morning breakfast was adequate and the rooms were large and clean. Free wi fi was great! Front desk staff were very friendly and provided great service.

Great central location but not that comfortable. AC doesn't blow cold, even though it lists AC. Also, they turn it off completely in the mornings. Don't think it was worth the money I spent. It is more like a motel than a hotel; more comfortable than a hostel probably.

This hotel was conveniently located near the train station. We passed it at first, as it was down one of the smaller side streets. The staff was very pleasant. The hotel is at one end of the city, so it was a walk to anywhere. It's a decent place for travellers but I wouldn't recommend to hotel snobs.

Sorry to have to post this but I would not stay at this hotel again. The room was basic, cleanliness was poor and the place looked shabby. More importantly to me, as this was an overnight stop on a long drive, I booked this hotel as it offered parking. The entrance to the carpark is down a narrow road and there is a very tight turn to get into the carpark. […] I scraped the front wing of my car which will cost me £££ to repair. Overall, I chose this hotel over other options as it was slightly cheaper. This has proven to be a poor decision. Devamı

Very close to main station on edge of old town with restaurants and shops. Standard rooms small and bathroom tiny but price reasonable if parking is included.

Great place to stay!! Friendly and helpful staff. Being so central and close to the railway station was bonus. Staying at this hotel added to the wonderful experience of traveling in Italy. Thanks so much! The walk down the cobble stones to the entry was an indication of what we were to expect in beautiful Genova.

Nothing fancy about this place, though clean and welcoming.Friendly helpful staff and a great location in a brilliant city.

The hotel is in very poor shape - rooms stink of smoke - a/c is not functioning - shower head was broken and leaking not spraying - shower doors were busted and I had to fix to save flooding the shower - usual twin beds pushed together but blankets had 'stains' on them - overall - disgusting - spent first night of two then had to leave to actuaaly get […] some sleep - very thin walls and night staff extremely rude - locked out with no directions at to where buzzer was - hidden behind overgrown bush - I understand 3 star hotels but this takes it way down...probably worst hotel of the 100's I have stayed in .... this hotel is close to principle train station (2 minutes walk) from where you can take a train along the coast to numerous small towns.clean friendly staff good size rooms dont know about breakfast did not have any.genoa is a beautiful city with big old town.on my visit to italy this time i stayed 3 days in genoa 3 in milan 3 in bergamo where i flew […] in and out off.in hindsight i should have given 5 days to genoa and 2days each to milan and bergamo.last but most important the hotel was priced very reasonably Devamı

The room was very basic, but it was just a two minute walk from the Genoa Piazza Principe train station and that's what sold it for us. There was a decent restaurant right next door and a Pharmacia across the street. Breakfast was included and was typical faire for Italy hotels.

Europa is very convenient if you need a room overnight while in transit to/from the airport or train in Genova. It is less than a 5 minute walk from the train station where you also get the Volabus for the airport. The neighborhood is a bit dirty and un-welcoming, but Genova is a pretty crummy city from what I've seen in several trip transits through. […] The restaurant next door, Lupo, is quite good and very reasonable. Supposedly this hotel has air conditioning but ours never turned on. Instead we had the window open but it was so loud outside that it was hard to sleep. The bathroom was tiny, you could barely fit in it. The walk to the city center was easy and it was close to the train, but I would suggest somewhere else.

We chose this hotel due to its location to the train station. The location was excellent, within walking distance. The lobby was clean and the hotel clerk most helpful. The room was good sized, bed linens were clean but old. The bathroom was very small. The air conditioning listed was only available from 8-10PM. Buen hotel , buena relación precio servicio

Hotel in buona posizione rispetto alle principali attrazioni della città, con parecchi ristorantini, trattorie, bar per colazioni nelle vicinanze. Le camere sono pulite e abbastanza confortevoli, tenedo conto che ci si rimane solo per fare la doccia e dormire. La moquette avrebbe urgente bisogno di essere sostituita, è proprio usurata dal tempo. Di […] notte si riposa tranquillamente, i rumori del traffico non arrivano. Il bagno ha spazi decisamente ristretti, una persona sovrappeso potrebbe avere serie difficoltà ad incastrarsi tra water e doccia per usare il bidet. Il personale è cortese e disponibile. Ett hotell av medelklass med bra läge nära stationen i Genova. Vi fick ett mycket bra och vänligt bemötande av personalen. T.ex. fick vi förvara våra resväskor där, under några dagar då vi var på annan ort. Då vi sedan kom tillbaka, blev vi uppgraderade till bästa rummet, utan extra kostnad.

stanze poco riscaldate e solo ad orari prefissati . località centrale comoda per la vicinanza alla stazione ma in un quartiere che di sera si spopola . stanza poco luminosa ed angusta . bagno dotato del minimo indispensabile . personale molto cortese

Hotel simples, mas com ótimo custo-benefício. Bem localizado em relação a estação ferroviária. O único senão foi que o café da manhã não estava incluso na diária, como prometido.

Ok hotel next to the train station, the staff was friendly and spoke English. The area is not very nice, but for one night it's OK. Some nice restaurants and bars nearby. Clean and simple, AC in the room. Would recommend it if you're just staiying for a night or two.

El hotel era confortable, pero tuvimos un poblema en la habitacion el radiador de la ducha perdia agua, y el lavabo se nos llenaba de agua, y tenia que colocarlas toallas, intente ver si se podia solucionar, pero estaba la tuberias osidadas por la junta. Pero en si el hotel es bastante bueno y si lo recomendaría. Gracias por su comodidad

OK if you want to stay near the railway station

étape d'une journée a genes. décoration pas a mon gout, mais propreté au RDV dans les parties communes et la chambre. dans la Salle de bain, ce n'était pas comme neuf, mais correcte.

Hôtel de voyageurs, Bien placé dans le centre de Gènes. Pratique pour une nuit ou deux. Confort sommaire, sans agrément ni charme. Personnel agréable. Parking gardé et fermé (15 euros/jour).

Bra hotell där du tar dig till hamnen på 10 minuter och de mest centrala delarna på lika lång tid. Bra hotellpersonal och bra kvarter. Mycket studenter i kvarteren då det ligger nära Universitetet. Extra avg för parkering.

Det ligger jättenära järnvägsstationen. Området mellan stationen och hotellet känns lite sunkigt. Gångavstånd till hamnen med bra restauranger. Rummen är helt ok.

è un pò difficile da trovare perchè il navigatore trova il vicolo con difficoltà nella zona. L'area è strategica perchè si può da lì fare una bella passeggiata in tutto il centro storico. C'è un piccolo parcheggio interno di non agevole accesso, dove lasciare la macchina per la notte visto che l'area esterna non è di facile parcheggio. l'hotel è molto […] normale, va bene senza grandi lodi. Great location if you come to Genova by train or bus, just 100 meters from the station. There aren't any busy streets around, so it's still quiet, as well. Walk 1km and you're in the old town and the harbour. There are also restaurants and bars on the Via Balbi right by the hotel. hôtel sympathique ,calme,chambre correcte,accueil sympathique parle français , situé dans un quartier gare,petite salle pour les déjeuners,gros problème d'accès au parking vraiment très petit!,sinon à recommander pour une étape...

Das Hotel ist gleich beim Piazza Principe gelegen. In die Restaurantgegend ist es zwar ein Stück zu laufen, aber kein Problem. Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis hat gestimmt. Das einzige Problem, dass wir hatten, war, dass wir auf hotels.com extra ein Angebot inklusiv Parkplatz gebucht haben und dies uns dann sogar noch extra bestätigen liessen, das Hotel […] die Parkplatzgebühr jedoch trotzdem verrechnen wollte. Detta är ett perfekt hotell när man kommer med tåg. Bara ett kvarter från Stazione Principe. Hotellpersonalen är mycket trevlig och hotellet är inte större än att du blir igenkänd redan första dagen. Rummen är stora och nyrenoverade. Sånär som på den internationellt alltid förekommande fläckiga heltäckningsmattan. En del rum har kakelgolv. Toaletten/badrummet […] är litet men välförsett med handdukar av skilda slag. Den centrala luftkonditioneringen klarar inte utomhustemperaturer över 30 grader. Å andra sidan är fönstren över två meter höga. Frukostbuffén är helt ok. Genuas gamla hamn ligger 10 minuter bort och det stora världskulturarvsområdet en kvarts promenad bort. Devamı

Nous avions pris avec les p.dejeuner ! Le café était imbuvable et il n'y avait pas beaucoup de choix . Je ne conseil pas du tout cette formule.

Mini-bar hors-service, climatisation non fonctionnelle ou insuffisante et personnel indifférent à nos requêtes pour remédier à nos problèmes. Propreté très moyenne.
