We have stayed here in the past, but this time were a little disappointed in the cleanliness of our room. The carpet had several stains and the room smelled terrible upon arrival. We also found a few pieces of trash left behind that housekeeping missed. On a positive note, the hotel is in a great location for our needs and the choice of 4 different […] pools is great! There is a lot of wildlife on the grounds, and while there we watched a Momma duck being followed by her babies to take a dip in one of the on-site ponds. The walls are thin, so you can hear a lot of noise to the outside, especially from the pools. Devamı

The room I stayed in was reminiscent of a La Quinta room. There were two queen beds in a very tight space. Bathroom was small and even though it was clean it still seemed dirty. Beds were okay, but made me wonder if this was one of those bed bug places! The clock was about 15-20 minutes fast, don't know if that's on purpose or if a previous customer […] did it. Fantastic hotel, dated but clean and maintained.

I would recommend to anyone. Especially the kitchnettes, if you want to save on food, you can do everything yourself with a Full Kitchen! The pools are great and convenient location!

Overall a great value for a group or family. The pullout couch and little kitchen are a huge bonus. The rooms are far from soundproof so be sure to bring some earplugs. Stayed three different times. Three different prices. Overall my third stay was the best. Still the menu is marginal and I am not impressed with the food. The Filet Mignon is the best choice as they do know how to cook a steak. Street Tacos are a good choice. Staff is very nice. Overall a pleasant place to stay. Quiet and a great location.

Great street tacos BUT I have stayed at this hotel 3 times and have yet to have an evening meal that justified the prices.

We walked in and were blown away. Most rooms are the standard king sized bed, TV, bathroom closet, etc. This place was, not only that, but there was also a HUGE living room with a couch, another tv, desk, FULL kitchen, AND a dining room! Not to mention, it was clean and it smelled good. I can dig it.

We stayed at the Zona in Scottsdale on our way to San Diego for Spring Break. It was myself, Grandma Ria, my daughter, and her two children, 8 and 5, we spent the night going and coming from CO. The first night we spent in a King suite and would recommend it again as it had the full kitchen and more room even for a one night stay as the second night […] we went with a double queen and felt a little more enclosed. That was our only complaint. We all loved the fact that we had 4 pools to choose from. They were bathtub warm and we enjoyed them to no end. We will most definitely stay at the Zona again. Devamı

We were surprised to find this new treasure, and we will surely be back! The price was great, considering the quality and surrounding area of Scottsdale. We loved the use of the 4 pools/hot tubs! Food & beverage service by the pool was quick and tasted great--a bit pricey--to be expected though. Each room has a balcony facing the pool, so we enjoyed […] our breakfast in the sun. The rooms were clean, yet a bit small. My only complaint is that the hotel rooms only had 2 large bath towels in them, and we could hear pool noise/neighbors through the walls. We were able to check-in early, but found one of our rooms hadn't yet been cleaned. We called to the Front Desk and within 15 minutes, room service arrived to clean it. We also had a minor maintenance issue in one of our rooms, and again it was resolved within 15 minutes. The hotel is located near Scottsdale Road, which is known for it's great restaurants, shopping and night life. There's plenty to do in the surrounding area, but this hotel is just enough off the beaten path that you feel secluded. Devamı

Pools were very nice! The room wasn't the quality we expected for the price! Yes it had a full size kitchen ..but wasn't fully stocked as advertised..very few utensils..no kitchen towels..things like that..important when going on a family vacation with small kids. Had to call housekeeping every day to remind them there were 4 people in room...only left […] towels for two. Devamı

I would recommended it to anyone

I don't know .... this was the first place I booked through Hotels.com (Hotels.com was highly recommended by a very good friend). The lobby was neat, hip, modern and contemporary, but the rooms weren't (in my opinion). I'm not 100% sure that we got a good deal here. It was one of the more pricey places returned in my Hotels.com search, and I kinda wish […] I would have chosen a different place. Honestly, I think we overpaid for what we got in return. The room was clean, but sparsely decorated. It was a mixture of old (60ish set of drawers by the refrigerator, old tiled bathroom sink and vanity top) and new (nice flat screen, contemporary night stands). The bed and pillows were comfortable and clean. However, for the price, there are a couple things that one should not encounter at a "resort": (1) an out-of-date shower head; (2) tub/shower fixture that was loose with cracked tiles and gaps around the fixture and plumbing; and (3) a very loud (sounded like it was sending Morse Code to aliens) HVAC unit that made it very difficult to sleep through (so much so that we turned it off). In my opinion, that is totally unacceptable for a "resort" and for the price we paid. We were not able to take advantage of other amenities at this location. When we checked in, I felt the desk clerk was snobbish and somewhat arrogant -- I did not feel welcomed during check in. I might recommend this place to someone who would be able to take advantage of the other amenities this place has to offer, but I can't say I'll be knocking down the door to stay here again. Oh, one other thing. We were charged additional fees, which among other things, provided Wi-Fi access -- way overpriced for what we got out of it. Beware, "Do Not Disturb" hangers were not available. We were surprised when the cleaning maid opened our locked door before 8:00 AM on the morning we were scheduled to check out. our room was ver small and it contained two beds, the rugs were very dirty, housekeeping was not very good, we made reservation weeks in advance for kingsize bed which they could not supply, there was no sofa, and one day we came back from an outing and found our door and patio door open, reported same but no action was taken, would not recommend the […] place. Not a bad hotel, but I think the ratings were a bit high. Staff was great, and the restaurant/bar facilities were good. The rooms themselves could use a some refreshing. My only real complaint is that the rooms were not very soundproof, from either other rooms or the outside. I heard every noise from the room above,, and couldn't sleep past 6AM due […] to the noises outside. These were not loud noises per se, just no sound barrier. Devamı

This was definitely the best hotel I have stayed in. The pools are all heated and very large. The rooms are huge and very comfortable. It wa like staying at a fancy apartment complex.

Suite was nice. Only matter was that it needs a bit more updating inside room. Carpet was old and looked dirty, Outside patio furniture looked rusted and was dirty with bird poop. They didn't have enough towels available in room. If also staying there maybe may want to ask for upstairs room since rooms aren't to sound proof. We kept hearing noises of […] walking and bathroom usuage from upstairs all night. Also found that furniture was full of dust other than that everything else was fine. Devamı

The only disappointing factor was that Hotels.com asked if we wanted a golf course view. I said yes and was expecting one. We got there and it's not on a golf course. We had a parking lot view. That was disappointing. The hotel was great, just misinformed by Hotels.com.

I needed to be in N. Scottsdale for meetings and this property was a nice surprise to find. A solid value all around.

Stayed there March for golfing trip with 4 guys. Booked 1BR suite, large suite, clean, older style unit but newer furniture (louder a/c). If you're looking for value, central locaiton, & no frills in Scottsdale, stay at Zona. Restaurant staffs were very pushy on the breakfast buffet ($17.50), basic, taste ok and includes your coffee & juice. I tried […] to order from menu, literally took 15 minutes + to come out (french toast). Zona has 2 clean pool, 1 smallish hot tub, and decent gym to use. Parking lot gets full fast after dinner. Definitely use the golf concierge, you save a little bit but no headache. Golf fee is charged to your room so just check in at the course which is very convenient. It's 1 step up from your Motel but down from your Westins or Hyatts. Devamı

Room was okay. Could hear almost everything from the room above us especially when they all woke up at 6 am and dropped their luggage down each step -- thump, thump, thump. Staff at the restaurant were delightful and made a late night meal after a long drive very enjoyable.

I really enjoyed staying here. My only complaint was that I had to carry my heavy bag up several stairs. No ground level rooms.

Everyone was extremely friendly, very clean. Entertainment in lounge was great. Food very good. Highly recommend.

I really liked the hotel but it is not located closely to shops or restaurants. You can't just walk out of the hotel and walk to the nearest shop.

We were staying at the hotel as a staycation - me, my husband, teenage daughters and their friends. We had the 2BR suite and it was perfect. We went out for a nice dinner and enjoyed time at nearby Scottsdale Quarter. The girls loved having the extra room and kitchen so we could enjoy a leisurely breakfast before leaving. The suite was a great value […] considering we were staying at peak season. The only trouble we had was one of TVs was not working when we arrived but we called the front desk and the service person came quickly to fix it. Devamı

We had a great time at the Zona Hotel & Suites Scottsdale, its a fantastic place, great service and love the fact that there is 4 swimming pools located in the center of each group of rooms.

Just what we needed for a quick get away. Beautiful quiet place.

First night we arrived we checked into a room that smelled of puke. We requested to be transtered to a different room which was no problem. The room was ok, new furniture and all, but the bathrooms are old, I would say motel quality. For the price we paid I was expecting more. We will not go back.
