No TV channel info, several numbers had no channels, my TV stopped. I could not go up or down. Finally unplugged the set, hoping to reset,,, it worked. Next am asked and got a TV listing,, everything else was great. Lady in the food area was very nice. Give her a bravo!!!

It was a great stay. Excellent breakfast, one of the best I have ever seen. Cleanliness of the room would have been a 5 except that there was a urine spot on the rim of the toilet from previous customer - pretty gross. Walls are paper thin, could hear everything.

WOW, I think that this was the first hotel I’ve ever stayed in that the heater in the room was truly quiet and efficient. The switch for the bathroom exhaust fan was marked as “silent fan” and that exactly what it was…silent. Pool area was very nice, warm and clean. The indoor pool was amazing and perfect for the kids (4 & 6). The pool area had a fun slide for the kids, and a nice hot tub for the adults. The hotel was very nice but with the amenities of the cheap hotels (fridge and microwave), which was perfect. The beds were comfortable and the staff was nice. This hotel was great. The staff was very helpful and breakfast was very good. They were very helpful to help us get to were we needed to go also.

We were specifically looking for a Verona-area hotel so we tried the Country Inn. The staff was excellent, helpful, warm, and welcoming. The room was nicely furnished and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful with hot foods and plenty of healthy choices. We would definitely come back.

It was farther away from Madison than I thought it would be and not a ton of restaurants around. The hotel was clean and the employees were super friendly.

Front counter staff was very pleasant, room was clean and beds comfortable and their breakfast in the am was very good. Nice place to stay.

Great indoor poll and hot tub. Kids will love. And they can take you to Madison by bus. You just have to ask in advance.

We found the room with fridge and microwave. Six pillows on the two Beds and two more in closet. The breakfast included scrambled Eggs, biscuits and sausage gravy, waffles, fresh fruit, hot oatmeal, Assorted muffins and Pastries. Two people making sure the food was Restocked and the counters were clean.

This was my second time staying at this hotel, first time was a much better experience. I must have gotten unlucky with this room. The sink drain was backed up and the A/C rattled all night long. Love the Country Inn and Suites by Carlson chain: updated furnishings, warm colours, a good go-to chain for reliable comfort. Great for families with their free and filling breakfast, and especially the swim areas with toddler-friendly pools and slides to thrill the preschooler. Will seek these out when next I travel with my young kids.

Easy access from 4 lane. Pool area great. Breakfast in morning excellent. People at desk very nice. Room nice except toilet didn't like to flush unless you held the handle down and refrigerator door wouldn't fit shut but still cooled pop inside. Over all would definetly stay there again and would also highly recommend it to our friends.

Our room was clean and comfortable and the price was great. The breakfast was specially delicious and we complimented the girl at the front desk. We'll surely stay here again when we visit our daughter in Madison, WI.

The hotel is spotless and very welcoming. It is very comfortable. There is a lot of variety at breakfast. I enjoyed the waffle with strawberries.

The walls are very thin and we could hear everything the people did on both sides of us. The front desk woman was very helpful because our t.v. would not work. She told us they bought new flat screen t.v.'s but they don't work very well and it is hard to get them to turn on and stay on. We were pleased with all aspects of the hotel especially with an excellent breakfast, friendly service and a clean room. The swimming pool could have been much deeper for adults but made up for it with a nice large hot tub.

My husband had classes at UW Madision...so I decided to tag along with the kids. This hotel MADE our trip...or at least the kids trip. Super convenient for families...close to Target and quick eats. Microwave and fridge in the room for snacks and best of all...a not-too-deep pool, and splash pad with waterslide. We swam all day, snacked on the warm […] cookies provided in the lobby and took advantage of the next door (walking distance) bowling alley. And did I mention breakfast? Not having to worry about what to feed the gang was vacation enough...everyone got to choose what they wanted and fueled up for swimming. The staff was friendly. Bad Experience! Booked hotel for one night on a Saturday, chose it because of the pool for my two boys. Fumes from the pool were so overwhelming that my ten year old only lasted for 30 minutes after making numerous trips to the door for fresh air. There were no clean towels left on the shelves by the pool so I asked the attendant at the front desk to […] have someone bring some but no one ever did while we waited for 15 minutes longer. I took a shower at 7:15am the next morning with warm water(that was the hottest I could make it). The kids dad took one 30 minutes later with cool water. When I explained the situation about no hot water when I was checking out, I was told it was because the hotel was "full and everyone must have been taking a shower at the same time".
