Black Hotel - Roma

When researching for hotels in Rome, the hotel mentioned close to city. That was not true. They also mentioned free shuttle service to subway. However, they did not mention that they run between specific hours. Not too convenient. Had to take cab. Description mentions free wi-fi which did not work in room and advertise pool which was green and dirty. […] Room was small and bed was on floor. The tv was really small and the remote did not work. Neighborhood was not so nice as well. About the only thing that was worthy was the design of the hotels and materials. Very urban and edgy in style. Rate included WiFi, breakfast and parking. No internet service due to system malfunction, without a date for repair. Limited food for breakfast, we arrived the lounge 45 minutes before ending, and had to ask for fruit, eggs, bread, and other stuff, they told us that , that was it. The room had the door lock broken, you could'n locked from outside. They […] changed us later. In general the inside painting is all black with poor illumination, it was difficult to walk without tripping. Lack of personnel for support, only 1 clerk for The front desk, 1 bellboy, The restaurant offert a very short and expensive menu, and most of the dinner plates wheren't available. Alll receptionists does not have pacience with the guests. I had booked a triple room but the receptionist argued that I have made for regular room. I had to insist and aked for the paper to he proof what he is saying and finally I have to point to him that the reservation was really for triple room, he recognize the mistake but no room available, So […] I have to stay in the regular room with 2 childrens. I have asked information in the next day how to get to Rome, again the other receptionist gave me the information but she was rude also. I think being rude is a standard for this hotel. The breakfest is good, the room is good to fit 2 people and clean. The neighborhoood has just a supermarket and no restaurant around. The bus station is in front of the supermarket in walking distance but when return at night the street is dark and make unconfortable to walk. The WIFI internet has no sufficient channel to attend everyone and the signal drops all the times. At the check out the another receptionist also rude said that I need to pay, but I have to say that was paid in advance, she had to go to check her paper and after 5 minutes she said that I can go... It is a business hotel and I do recomend for who need to work in the town and use taxi to go and return from work or for people who has pacience with rude staff and not mind to walk in dark street. OK location if you have a car (we had). Poor internet connection, even in the lobby. Staff was friendly and helpful.Breakfast was fine. Good hotel overall for this amount of money. If have to go to Rome again - will stay there most probably.

Despite some negative reports seen after booking My Wife and I had a very pleasant stay at the Black Hotel, It is in a quite location and was harder to find when arriving late at night. This is a small hotel which was nice, Staff were friendly, rooms very clean and tidy, sheets/towels were changed daily. Breakfast was buffet style and absolutly fine. We got to the hotel at 10:00 a.m. after our overnight flight from the U.S.---we're tired and hungry. They told us that we wouldn't be able to check in until 12 noon--the hotel was not full! The breakfast buffet was still going on, so I asked if we could sit down and eat. The receptionist told us, "sure." We sat down, got two bowls of cereal--it was […] myself, my mother, and my 2 year old son--we ordered two coffees and the waiter gave us a bill for 20 euro--which I refused to pay for some cereal and two coffees--one which I still didn't touch and gave back to them, but they wouldn't take back. Another thing--this hotel is great if you have a car to get around in--otherwise, it's a pain to walk to the bus depot--up and down a hill in 110 degree weather and with a two year old. Then the bus to the metro---too much work for people who are on vacation! I was happy that the nighttime reception manager accomodated us every night by filling my son's bottle with milk! Taxis were expensive---and don't have them call the taxi until you're downstairs and ready to go--otherwise they start the meter--with or without you! Another thing--the supermarket down the hill sells pizza in the store--don't make the same mistake as I did and buy the pizza in the store and then go outside and sit down at the pizzeria that is on the side of the Panorama store--the owner had a fit---was extremely rude, kicked us out and even took my wallet and threw it 50 yards away----I really should have called the police-----but I was in shock for the next 4 hours, as was my mother and my 2 year old son-----disgusting! An advantage for drivers is that there is free, uncovered parking in the driveway; we were given contradictory information as to whether the garage parking (which is not signposted and would involve driving down a very steep ramp) was included in the price or not and gave up on it (apparently neither option is secured). Albergo molto particolare. Si chiama Black ed effettivamente reception e corridoi sono neri, ma non tetri, hanno il loro fascino, la loro eleganza e un tocco di stile. Le camere sono estremamente spaziose e dotate di tutto ciò che serve. Internet via cavo e wireless (gratis), frigobar, climatizzatore, armadio. Non riuscendo a trovare l'hotel abbiamo chiamato per chiedere informazioni. La persona che ha risposto è stata molto scortese!! All'arrivo camera fredda e riscaldamento spento. Dopo aver chiamato la reception e' stato acceso ma nel bagno non funzionava.....solo dopo un ulteriore sollecito e l'invio di un dipendente il termo ha iniziato a funzionare. […] Nei giorni successivi camera troppo calda con impossibilita' di regolare la temperatura dalla stanza. La sala colazione e' troppo piccola, fila per sedersi, Colazione non soddisfacente, brioches riscaldate e in quantita' inadeguata. In generale (per i meno pignoli) molto buono, molto confortevole e caratteristico (nel moderno). Hotel e camera sufficientemente puliti. Si notano alcuni segni del tempo, che per un hotel del genere dovrebbero non comparire: l'interno è scuro/nero e sono presenti scrostature negli angoli che lasciano intravedere il bianco sottostante; le camere sono […] bianche, ma ci sono strisce scure per i bagagli appoggiati; qualche mattonella da sostituire. Le superfici essendo nere o chiare, necessiterebbero una pulizia costante dalla polvere, che emerge visibilmente anche se poca. - Reception e bar: familiare e accogliente. - Rispetto al centro congressi Aurelia (TV2000) è l'hotel più vicino insieme all'Holiday Inn, la posizione è quindi ottimale per chi viene come me dall'Aurelia.- Tariffa ottima (era però un'offerta). - Colazione ottima e abbondante. - Personale e ospiti molto educati e rispettosi. - Nel complesso un ottimo hotel. Il check in avviene esclusivamente dopo le ore 14 . Per il testo tutto nella norma. Se si dispone di un automobile la posizione è buona e si può usufruire del parcheggio gratuito. Se non si ha l'auto le cose cambiano....

Das Hotel liegt etwas ausserhalb, dafür sind allerdings die Parkplätze im Preis inbegriffen. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 10-15 Minuten bei den Hauptattraktionen und es ist kein Problem einen Parkplatz in der Nähe von diesen Orten zu finden. Die Einrichtung ist schön, das Frühstück okay, könnte aber sicher etwas "frischer" sein. Die Klimaanlage kann […] leider nicht im Zimmer verstellt werden, was etwas mühsam ist. Het ontbijt is karig voor vegetariërs. Vers fruit bestaat alleen uit appels en peren (beide onsmakelijk). Het bedienend personeel is afstandelijk tijdens het ontbijt. Jammer genoeg moet je ze vragen om koffie en thee (geen selfservice). Bij een verblijf van 8 nachten, bleek dat rond 09.45 uur op meerdere dagen kaas en chocopasta op waren. Hotelli oli kokonaisuudessaan hyvä, ainut mihin olisin kaivannut parannusta oli hotellin tarjoama aamupala. Hotelli oli mukavan pieni ja viihtyisä ja suhteellisen helppo löytää mutta toki aika kaukana Rooman ns.sykkeestä.

Wij waren heel tevreden van het hotel. Enige nadeel is dat je wel even doorzicht moet hebben in het openbaar vervoer van Rome. Als je dit éénmaal onder de knie hebt, was het geen enkel probleem! Af en toe was de metro zelfs welkom om wat verkoeling te hebben!!!

Das Black Hotel ist ein schönes Designhotel. Es ist ruhig, eher für Paare ausgerichtet, weniger für Familien. Die Zimmer sind wie auf den Fotos, auch sauber und komfortabel. Das Frühstück ist nichts besonderes, aber ok. Abendsessen sehr teuer, aber gut. Die Lage ist nicht so gut. Es liegt im Viertel Aurelia/ Boccea. Mit dem Auto und leeren Straßen ist […] man zwar in 30 min vom Flughafen am Hotel, mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel ist die Anfahrt jedoch strapaziös. Von der U-Bahn Haltestelle Cornelia muss man einen Bus zum Hotel nehmen und dann noch ca. 5 min laufen. Busse überfüllt und nicht pünktlich, daher stressig. Ins Zentrum muss man dann auch erst den Bus nehmen, dann noch 7 oder 8 Stationen zum Hbf. Dauert alles etwa 1 Stunde. Wenn man Pech hat und abends zu spät zurück will, fährt keine Ubahn mehr. (Linie A fährt im Moment nur bis 21 Uhr!!). Ist alles etwas umständlich. Service schlecht: Fragen hat man ungern beantwortet, Internet gibt es nur mit eigenem PC, kein PC in der Lobby vorhanden. Man bemüht sich nicht wirklich um die Gäste. Auch auf in der Zimmerbroschüre aufgeführte Angebote wurde nicht adäquat reagiert. Den Shuttle vom Hotel zum Flughafen (für immerhin 50 Euro) kann man nur auf mehrmaliges Nachfragen buchen und muss sich direkt auf das Angebot beziehen, sonst weiß das Personal von nichts. Ein großer Supermarkt ist direkt in der Nähe, bis 21 Uhr geöffnet ist das sehr praktisch. Auch störend nachts:Die Zimmertüren der anderen Gäste fallen sehr laut ins Schloss. Devamı

Aria condizionata non funzionante, televisore non funzionante e lampate a lato del leetto con lampade bruciate. La cosa grave è che ho dovuto sollecitare ben 5 volte prima che qualcuno si degnasse di intervenire. Sconsiglio l'hotel, assolutamente mediocre per quanto concerne camere e sistemazione, pessimo per il servizio.

De hotelmedewerkers waren allen erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De lakens en handdoeken worden elke dag vervangen. Het ontbijtbuffet is simpel maar prima. Erg lekker waren de stukjes vlaai. Et virkelig lækker hotel med komfort helt i top. Rigtig lækker swimmingpool område - god service og lækker morgenmadsbuffet mv. Eneste problem var beliggenheden - der trods alt var et stort problem, da offentlig transport til og fra hotellet ikke var helt så lige til.

Das Black Hotel liegt etwas außerhalb, was Vor- und Nachteile hat. Der Vorteil ist, dass das Hotel sehr ruhig liegt, eine sehr schöne, kleine Poolanlage hat, wo man nach der Anstrengung der Stadtbesichtigung in Rom sehr gut relaxen kann. Der Nachteil ist, die lange Anfahrt bis zur Innenstadt von Rom. Man muss zuerst mit dem öffentlichen Bus fahren, […] der zwar kommt, aber man nie weiß wann. Und dann mit der U-Bahn 9 Stationen bis HBF Termini. Außerdem steht einem noch ein Fußmarsch von ca. 10 Minuten bevor von der Bushaltestelle bis zum Hotel. Man muß abwägen, was man haben will. Ein ruhiges Hotel, sehr schöne Außenterasse, sehr schöne Poolanlage, oder ein stickiges Hotel in der Innenstadt. Wir haben uns für die erste Variante entschieden und es nicht bereut. Die Zimmer sind sehr hellhörig, der Fernseher schaltete sich nach ca. 15 Minuten ab. Das war etwas lästig, aber für ein paar Tage gut zu ertragen. Das Frühstück war sehr umfangreich und man bekam, wenn man wollte, einen sehr guten Capuccino. Wir konnten jeden Morgen auf der Terrasse frühstücken. Der Service im Restaurant war gut. Das Essen im Restaurant in Ordnung. Am Abend auf der Terrasse bei einem Glas Wein war es sehr angnehm. Also insgesamt würden wir dieses Hotel empfehlen. Devamı
