We arrived late our first night, and the room had an overwhelming smell of burnt popcorn. It was awful but we didn't do anything as we were tired. The next day told housekeeping manager who brought in a new microwave and openned window to get rid of smell. By the time we got back to room that afternoon couldn't smell anything but freshness. Pool too small, no local newspaper available, no phone books in room, complimentary breakfast bar should be available at this price. Highway noise, located too close to interstate. Staff was very courteous.

This hotel is very easy to get to and the location is great. Lots of places to eat near by, but we chose to eat at the hotel resturant and it was very good and the prices were very reasonable.

I travel to Springfield often and I can honestly say that my most recent stay at the Hilton Garden Inn was the cleanest I have ever experienced in Springfield. I am a bit of a germaphobe and this time it was noticeably cleaner than any other stay I have had in Springfield. Very nice hotel at a reasonable price. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a full buffet, and while not free, it was well worth it to get a full breakfast rather than the usual danish and juice. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Springfield.

Everything was really nice. Most of all the hotel stal was very friendly.

My boyfriend and I needed a weekend away for our anniversary, so we decided to head to Springfield. The room was very nice, and the whirlpool bathtub was so relaxing. The room had a tv, fridge, microwave, anything we could have needed. I would definitely stay here again.

The service was great. front desk was friendly and the manager went out of his way on Christmas day to accomodate us.

The hotel stay was great we were there for a wrestling tournament would recommend next time for the whole team to stay there had a little party room maybe for a team pizza party there. The only negative was that the hallways leading to your rooms were a little dirty, room service food was sitting outside the door the whole night kind of sick.

Great place not many issues

This hotel was nice for the price. I would say the only problem we had was that when we checked into the hotel the front desk employee was very impersonable and somewhat rude. My 5 yr old wanted a cookie (they usually have some at the front desk) but the container that was there was empty. I asked if they had any more and he tried to sell us a 4 pk […] of cookies from the sundries of which we declined. Then just chatting upon check-in he did not respond to some questions we had....Then in the am the staff were very friendly and helpful. We ate at the buffet the next morning (it was xmas eve) because it was easy, we were there. Our waitress was very nice and friendly and even made my son's waffle for us as we had our hands full and we were in a hurry to eat and get on the road. The room was comfortable, but like others have said no bathroom fan. The room was clean for the most part although the shower could use more attention, and the floor had hairs that were not ours lol! I am a germaphobe so I made sure to clean a little before we used the bathroom!! The pool was small but my husband and son had fun there while I used the fitness room. The only problem there is the table next to the window had ants which then climbed all over our clothing. Overall our stay was pleasant for the money and I would reccommend. If we had to stay in the area again we would probably pick this one to stay at again. Devamı

Staff never missed an opportunity to say hello and were very helpful whether it was 4am or 9am - Providing me with a spiral when I needed one. The Mobley Burger was fantastic and bartender was very friendly. The breakfast staff even help us pack a bag of bakery just before my mom's funeral. They made a difficult time much easier. I would like to commend the actions of the staff the second night of our stay. A group of irresponsible parents checked in with children & left the children upstairs without supervision. When I called to let the front desk know there were children running around on the 4th floor & I worried someone would get hurt. I checked twice & never saw an adult. […] The desk clerk said she feared the parents were in the lobby drinking. A member of the staff came up & took the children to the lobby to their parents. The inconsiderate parents also moved into the restaurant when it closed and the Assistant Manager had to be called in to get the adults under control. I would recommend that in the future groups be informed children should not be left alone and not allowed to drink in the lobby. The staff should be commended on how they handled the situation when made aware the children were in danger of injury. Devamı

While I felt the beds were a bit soft, the washable duvets seemed a nice touch. The room was clean and attractive, the lobby gracious, and the staff friendly. We had carefully searched for the right combination of rates and amenities and overall were very pleased. Stayed here with my wife and baby. Staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast Buffet on Sunday morning was good (but a little pricey at $9 a person). Only downside is that the hotel is right off the highway so road noise was a little annoying. Also the hotel is facing the giant smoke stacks of the Power and Water company. I was very satisfied with this hotel. The only problem I had was the bed. It was VERY hard. We got back to the room very late and none of the surrounding restaurants were open except Steak and Shake. Not my first choice. Otherwise it was quiet and comfortable.

The Hilton Garden Inn in Springfield IL is a very clean, well-maintained hotel convenient to I-55. The room was spacious, clean, well-furnished with good quality bed and bath linens. When we arrived, however, the third floor hallway was freezing cold from excessive air-conditioning. By morning, the temperature had abated, thankfully. There was one […] detraction, at least for the room we stayed in: it was at the back of the hotel, on the side nearest an exit and on ramp for I-55, and the traffic noise was terrible all night. Everything was great- except the bed. There was a dial on the mattress to adjust to individual comfort levels. The mattress was either hard as a rock or like quicksand in the middle. (neither of which are my comfort level)

This is the sixth time in a row I have stayed with your chain and will never stay anywhere else as long as you have a location wherre i am going. Great experience evcertime. I would like to inquire about a frequent customer program if there is one. Please let me know. Thanks

It would have been a very good stay if the watch that I left on the beside table in Room 217 had been turned in.

Nice location just off the interstate. Decent selection of nearby restaurants. Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel and room were clean. Our only complaint was that the indoor pool was too small.

The staff were very friendly to us. The pool is attractive and clean. Though the pool is small, it seemed to have brought the kids in the area together for group play/games. The room was comfortable, fresh smelling, and very clean. Even Monk would be happy here! The surrounding area is nice with plenty of nice chain restaurants for dinner (Outback, […] Cheddars, Panera, etc.) The breakfast at the hotel is fantastic. Each night, I found myself looking forward to the next morning's made-to-order omelet, waffle bar, nice cereal selection, ripe fresh fruit and of course fresh coffee. We have more Lincoln places to visit and will will certainly stay at this hotel again. Devamı

The hotel was easily accessible from the highway but a trifle distance from the Lincoln Museum and Library, We had to pay for parking downtown. This may seem silly but the microwave provided in the hotel room was too small for the microwave popcorn being sold. The price for the popcorn was high considering that only a half bag was able to be popped. The […] breakfast buffet was well appointed but another server would have made service faster. Decent hotel for the price, although the room was missing one essential element: a bathroom fan. Who builds a hotel without fans in the bathroom. Other than that, the ammenties such as pool, workout room and breakfast were average to very good. Room temperature and bed comfort were very good.

Excellent hotel, very clean and close to many resteraunts for the family. Really enjoyed the cookies in the afternoon. Only small complaint is the pool is very small and too shallow. But overall a great experience would stay there again.

Our room had a microwave and refrigerator. The hotel offered room service from 5pm to 9pm while we were there. The pool was small but nice, perfect for kids. The staff was very friendly. The pillows were too puffy for my taste and the bed a little too soft. So I can't say that sleeping was comfortable. I attended a convention that was right next door so this was extremely convenient for me. The rooms and hotel were clean and in very good shape. This was right off the expressway and conveneint to a host or restaurants of all budgets. The pool looked clean and well kept howver I did not use it. The business center and free wifi were nice. The buffet […] breakfast was reasonably priced on Staurday and Sunday. My room had microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Bath had iron and hair drier. Beds were very comfortable and I am a large guy. The rooms were quiet, no outside noise. This was not downtown but a very short drive to get there and in my opinion if you are not planning on ditching the car and walking everywhere the area and hotel woujld be a great choiice if visiting Springfield to see the sites. The hotel employees were very knowledgeable of all the tourist/lincoln sites. The hotel and room was very clean and great size sleeping room. Great place to stay and close to all the sites with good resturaunts near.

We came to Springfield to watch our son's Group Interpretation state competition at the Univ. of Illinois at Springfield. This hotel was excellent, with a nice swimming pool area and convenient location close to UIS and to I-55. No free breakfast but Panera Bread across the street served our needs. This hotel is one of the only 3 star options in Springfield but it doesn't deserve that 3rd star! The room smelled of baby wipes, the noise in the halls woke us up in the morning, and the room's finishes were equal to a 2 1/2 star hotel. I hope the other hotels listed as 3 star offer better accommodations than this Hilton.

my stay was wonderful the only thing i regret i didnt do was book aq room with a jacuzzi. the room was clean. the hotel was quiet.everybody was polite.if i book a room again it will be the same hotel.thank you all for everything

This hotel was a wonderful stay for my husband, our 7 year old grandson and me. The facility was clean, the rooms were large and well appointed. The pool was clean and large for an indoor pool (January). The restaurant had a breakfast buffet with freshly cooked omlets, freshly prepared waffles and a huge variety of meats, cheese, breads and fruits. […] All of the staff at the hotel was friendly and helpful. The location is easy to find and close to many good restaurants. We chose this restaurant for our family as we toured Springfield and it's historical sites and museums over a long weekend. The Lincoln Museum and Library was the highlight, however, Lincoln's Home, The Old Capitol Building and the New Capitol Building were also excellent. Highly recommended. Devamı

Our stay was overall ok. The pool was out of order for our trip, which was one on the main reasons I chose this hotel. The breakfast in the morning was not complimentary. It was less expensive to go to Bob Evans up the street. The reason we went to Springfield was to celebrate my sons birthday. I bought him a cake and the candles I bought triggered […] the smoke alarm. No one called or came up to check if we were ok . No dresser space at all, just a tv console.
