The location, althought apparently safe and secure, leaves something to be desired. However, the location is offset by the very reasonable price, the service, the interior and rooms, and the friendliness of the staff. They picked me up at Laguardia in minutes and were always ready to transport me to the subway station. I would stay there again.

Perhaps the smallest hotel room I've ever stayed in. But that seems to be par for the course in NYC. They do as much as possible with limited real estate. Hotel is across the street from a large cemetery which was kind of cool since we were there on Halloween. Shuttle service to subway was convenient. Continental breakfast was ok, enough to put something […] in your gut, but no more than that. They did not come to make up the room on our second day until almost 5pm which I thought was strange. By that time, all I wanted was fresh towels and I sent them on their way. Not much going on in the neighborhood. McDonald's around the corner and several places delivered food. Our experience with this hotel was OK. The room was comfortable, the shuttle service was great (except when the driver doesn't show), and it's close enough to the city and the airport. However, we had a couple of problems: * Arriving at about 10:30 PM to the nearby subway station after a performance, we tried to call the hotel several times, but no […] one answered. * Finally, after 15 minutes of trying, we were able to request the shuttle. We were told that it would take the shuttle driver 15 minutes to get to us and take us back to the hotel. We were still waiting 25 minutes later, and decided to take a cab. This is the third time that we have stayed at the Comfort Inn Maspeth. The hotel exceeded every expectation. For a room in NYC, close to everything, the value cannot be beat! The rooms are very clean, the bathrooms are nice. The staff is always very helpful. Love the breakfasts. The hotel is very family-friendly. Can't wait to stay again.

We have stayed at this hotel several times, but we sometimes have trouble driving to it. The access is basically limited to two directions only. The cemetery across the street is a big obstacle. Be sure you know how to find the hotel. Otherwise, it's clean and efficient for us.

Hotel, and rooms are decent, the front desk staff is lazy and rude. other than that it's a good place

Great Hotel that fullfill our needs. We were looking for a hotel to sleep, have breakfast, take a shower and next day go to the airport. We were pleased with the room and the staff, always smiling.

We were looking for a clean hotel close the airport. This one fit the bill perfectly. Not anything spectacular; just a clean room in a convenient location. Excellent service by the staff.

Clean and confortable; hotel staff were polite, responsive and professional. Location is close enough to Manhattan either by car, and/or public transporation to make it a very convenient spot--well worth the price.

If you are looking for a nice, clean hotel room for a great price then this hotel is for you. We drove to Brooklyn to visit a family member, hotel is right off the LIE. Took shuttle bus for two minute drive to subway station to go into Manhattan, very convenient. No in-room movies or extras but who needs them when you have the greatest city in the world […] ten minutes away by subway. The only inconvenience, and it was major, was that I gave my debit card upon check-in as requested, but there is no room service or movies to rent. When I checked out the staff billed my card for three nights even though I paid in full with Hotels.com previous to check-in. I was livid when I checked my account online. Luckily, hotels.com compensated me for the loss via hotel vouchers. I did recover the money when I called the hotel, it took seven business days. Thankfully my bank refunded the overdraft fees after an explanation that it was not my fault the hotel screwed up. Hotels.com made it all better, I will continue to use Hotels.com in the future! Right next to a large cemetery, so is very quiet. The only thing was that we had some kids jumping around above us so we lost some sleep.

more than I hoped for except my wife got freaked out for the cementeri in front of the hotel.

Convenient access to freeway to NYC. close enough to the city, yet not far away. Very clean. Very small parking area. Very good value.

Adequate facilities for the price. We were in a non-smoking room, but the hallway smelled of smoke and our room smelled when the air-conditioning fan was not on. The refrigerator in our room did not work and was not taken care of until we had asked three times, at which time we were about to leave. We stayed four days and would have liked to use the […] refrigerator. Continental breakfast every morning was very good. For a good price, we got to stay close to our kids in clean, quiet surroundings. Breakfast was adequate, and room was fine.

Pris i forhold til kvalitet/beliggenhed er sammenhængende. Det fungerer at have den belligenhed den har, pga den gratis shuttle service der er til/fra subway station.

Je recommande cet hotel pour n'importe qui qui ne veut pas payer trop cher. Avec le métro j'étais à 20 min max de times square sans aucun transfert de rame. Il fallait seulement prendre la voiture pour se rendre à la station qui était a 2 min d'auto et le parking était très facile à trouver. Sinon l'hotel offrait aussi une navette gratuite de l'hotel […] à la station de métro WildWood. La chambre était très propre, par contre je ne sais pas ce qu'il y'avait il fesait étrangement très chaud mais avec la climatisation on réglait très bien la température.
