Staff was rude! Spa was not working and pool was ice cold
"Very nice hotel"
I stayed there overnight when UNI was hosting a concert. Close to Uni-dome, right off of highway 20. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast buffet wasn't quite what i was expecting, but overall I was very satisfied with my experience and will definitely stay there again if the opportunity comes around.

"Great choice"
We have a freshman football player at UNI and stayed at the hotel for orientation.We will definitely be back. We had a king suite . The room was very clean, and quiet at night, staff was very helpful . We will be back for home games!

decent hotel with a good breakfast close to UNI for the next two years
"Unique problem"
I have to say overall I love Wingate by Wyndam hotels. However, it's ironic that the last hotel I stayed in made a point of illustrating all they do to insulate they're walls so that 'you don't hear Dave's jokes while trying to listen to Jay's jokes.' (I thought this was clever.) They did this by showing concrete block, filled with foam, separating […] rooms. When I got to this hotel, that illustration became very clear! Shortly after checking in, I heard the person next door come into his room as well. I could clearly hear him urinating into the toilet, his conversation with his wife, and unzipping his luggage, etc. I also heard him get up and urinate during the night and get back into bed. When I say urinate, I don't mean hearing the toilet flush...I mean I can assure you he has a good stream! I LOVE the layout of these rooms, I love the decor of the hotel, i love everything about the place except it was unnerving to hear just how detailed I could hear my neighbor. If this kind of stuff doesn't bother you, then I would highly recommend this hotel. I would note that I stayed in a Wingate in Fargo, ND and didn't notice the problem. Either the hotel wasn't very full, or my neighbors were very quiet. Devamı

"Great Place-Great Price"
Weather conditions forced me to quickly book a room. Everything was handled well. My king room was of good size and I appreciated that smoking rooms were available There was some remodeling underway, but it did not interfere. "Wingate, Cedar Falls"
I thought the hotel was average and almost would have rather got one of the cheaper hotels nearby because this one was nothing special.
"Good enough"
It was a decent hotel. Good room inside the room. Unfortunately there were some maintenance problems which was dealt with by saying "sorry", but no access to the workout facility or pool. The beds were hard. Some like that, I don't. Overall a decent experience. Is slightly overpriced for CF, but pleasant place.

Nice, quiet hotel. Close to everything. Enjoyed the pool.
"top flight with very high value"
I travel 20 weeks a year. This Wyndam is a well run extra value in its class
"Wingate staff leaves a little to be desired"
Upon check in two girls were standing at the desk visiting with each other. Did not acknowledge me, it appeared that I was an inconvenience which they had to deal with. Upon checking out, the girl at the desk was talking to a man who appeared to be a hotel employee. After several long minutes of listening to them chit chat I decided to sit until she […] was done. "convient to our destination"
We were very impressed with the hoted. Good beds, large room with great tv (all our home channels) and super breakfast. All employees were very friendly. Good stay!

"great for the money"
We thought this hotel was very nice for the price, especially compared to other similar hotels in Cedar Falls, some of which are overpriced in our opinion. It is a convenient location if you are looking for something close to UNI. There isn't much food/shopping right nearby, but there is plenty within 5 minutes & easy to get to. We forgot our suits, […] so did not go to the pool, so can't comment on that. Breakfast was good--the typical waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon & cereals & breads. We will likely stay here again. Devamı
