BEST WESTERN PLUS Sandusky Hotel and Suites - Sandusky

I was very happy with my stay at this location. Staff were very friendly, the quality of breakfast items excellent, and the room very very clean. Will definitely book another stay when I am in the area.

The staff were friendly and the room was in perfect condition.

Great stay the only downer was the spa hot tub wasn't working and the pool is in the hotel next door but location was great and the room was fantastic.

Wow, this was a nice newly remodeled hotel. The staff was very friendly and eager to help, the room was in great shape and CLEAN. I would stay there again!

We have stayed there before. The motel was as we expected.. The staff at the desk were so very nice and as helpful to us as they could have been. both shifts went our of their way to assist us in our needs. I do have one complaint about the room. I am 5 ft. 3 in. tall. The beds are too tall for me to safely get into without assistance and withour my […] COPD kicking in because of having to struggle to get into the bed in a position that I am used to sleeping. I am a side sleeper with back problems also who sleeps with feet elevated as well as having my back scotched with a pillow. You may want to keep lower beds for persons like me or have a stool available. This trip was due to an uncle's death so we were not in a festive mood. The man--Kevin -- I think from Louisiana was very friendly The lady who worked the evening shift was friendly and helpful to us. The rates were reasonable and our room was very clean! It was located really close to everything that we wanted! I would stay here again and recommend it to all of my friends! Thank you!!

Clean facility, pool is next door at the comfort but that worked out just fine. Staff is friendly, parking is good, love the covered entry for loading in foul weather. Great location to get to everywhere in the area. Stay here often.

This hotel is in a good location, but they're is a tattoo parlor next door. The hotel itself is nice, however the safe did not work, the hair dryer plug was broken, and it was very noisy there. I called the front desk and he did go up and tell the people to stop slamming the doors, but it still kept happening. It was cold out and she offered to move us when we got back, but honestly the other people were leaving and I had a young child, it would be too much. Free breakfast was worth about what you paid for it. Other than that this Best Western met my expectations. Good value for the money.

Highly recommend this hotel. Great location, friendly service, good rates. Have nothing negative to say and would stay there again with no hesitation and would recommend to others!

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It smelled clean when I walked in the door. There was a smooth check in and check out. Everyone was friendly and I would definitely stay here again when I visit Sandusky.

Nice hotel and great service. Bed was too hard, but everything else was great! I think hotels should have adjustable softness/hardness for beds.

I arrived very late from Cincinnati and the staff was very accommodating. I was able to get a great night sleep and had a wonderful breakfast. I was able to work for nearly the entire morning in my room without disturbance. I would recommend this hotel and will use it again.

We checked into the Best Western Plus Sandusky on a Friday afternoon, earlier than check-in time. We were greeted pleasantly, taken care of immediately, and in our room in no time at all. The room was spacious, had a fridge/microwave and a good tv, and the beds were made up with pretty throw pillows and good linens. There were a couple of minor flaws...the […] clock was broken, and the bathtub drain had a wad of hair in it. Other than that, the room was clean and very nice. The hotel was clean and spacious. The room was big enough to set up two pack 'n plays. We booked one room through hotels.com then the two days before our arrival date, I called to see if I could add another room and make it adjoining. They were very pleasant and accommodating. I only stayed there the one night but I found the remodel that they very recently did to be very impressive, the staff to be very friendly and the room was amazing. The bed didn't seem too firm to me at all, it's a great pillowtop mattress. I'll be staying there any time I'm in the area again without a doubt.

i recently booked a king room in best western and on the night i arrived it was around 9:30 and the parking lot was full i went to check in and got into my room and it was a double room so i went down to front desk and she told me they gave my room to some one else and they cant upgrade me because they were booked so i told her to send me to the hotel […] they owned next door with a upgraded room and when they did it was a broken hot tub in the room and it used to be a smokers room and it smelt terrible so i went down to switch rooms and after a long wait i finally got a room that was still far from good. worst experience in a long time but at least its something i will remember Devamı

I have stayed in several hotels in the Sandusky area and this is, bar far the best. Most are are poor quality so I was very pleasantly surprised! I would rate this highly no matter where it was located. We booked 2 rooms, both very spacious with 2 double beds, a couch, table, flat screen, fridge and micro. Bath area is all tiled. Everything was in great […] condition and the room very clean. Beds were very comfortable and had fluffy comforters and pillows. Not only that but the cost was quite a bit less then surrounding hotels. Staff was extremely friendly. We go to Cedar Point annually and this is going to be the only hotel we stay at in the future. From the moment we entered the hotel the staff was unpleasant and not helpful. We were given a key to someone else's room at midnight and had a horrible time tracking someone down to get the right key. I'm sure those we woke we more unhappy than we were. Only stayed 1 night, but was overall a nice stay. Beds were a little firm. Breakfast was ok. Waffles were ok, but gravy (for biscuits & gravy) was awful though! Other stuff was already gone (cereal, fruit, etc) and we were eating an hour before breakfast closed. Was really close to Cedar point, which was the purpose for our stay. Rooms are "suites" […] but wasn't any larger than a regular room. Guess a refridgerator & microwave make it a sweet?? Needed ice & ALL machines were empty. If you are going to Cedar Point, the B.W.P.. isfor you. It was clean and in a very good location with lots to do. The hotel clerks were polite and helpful. I had 1 complaint, however it is more about humanity than the hotel. People and their abuse of continental breakfast is pathetic. When the food is adequate to begin with, why do people have to bring […] piles of it out of the breakfast room when they are asked not to. When will they figure out that the wafflemaker has to be rotated so it stops beeping. In the end, when hotel rates become exorbitant you can thak yourself. Come on america! Devamı

The hotel staff was very helpful and the location was perfect: close to the freeway and stores like Walmart and Target, along with a number of restaurants. Also, it was only a 15 minute drive to Cedar Point. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the therapy pool in the basement was also in good condition.

Hotel was very clean, rooms were roomy. Staff very nice. By pass the breakfast though....it's crazy in the morning....overall...very nice hotel...would stay again!

Hotel was very nice. The desk clerks were very nice. I was not happy that they bathroom floor was filthy and had hair on the floor. I asked to have the floor cleaned while we were gone but it was not done..other then that the room was very nice.

Convenient location to Cedar Point-15 min, many restaurants nearby, also WalMart and freeway. Comfy beds, clean rooms, decent breakfast, staff helpful. Sofa area not separated, but adds nice extra space.
