CS Sao Rafael Suite Hotel - Albufeira

Stayed for 4 nights through the week at CS Sao Rafael. And was pleased with every aspect of it bar a few minor issues. At the time of year the whole of the Algarve was relatively quiet. But the hotel itself felt especially quiet. However saying this, the peace was lovely. Another issue is the prices of the in-hotel food, and bar prices. I was never […] shocked to see nobody eating or drinking at the hotel itself. Charging around 6€ + for a toasty - the most basic of foods - was in my eyes ludicrous as you could buy an entire loaf of bread and fillings to go with it in the shops for approx 2€... The room exceeded our expectations. The breakfast buffet was not what we expected for a 5 star hotel, but was good.

CS Sao Rafael was a great hotel - situated a couple of miles outside Albufeira was ideal. The breakfasts and restaurants were great and the service was second to none. Our days were spent either at the pools or the beach - enjoying a relaxing, fun holiday. In the evenings, we drove into town and parked in a public car park half a mile from Old Town […] and enjoyed a full, touristy town with all the benefits of a tourist attraction - restaurants; bars; street entertainment. The CS Sao Rafael SUITE hotel (easily confused with the CS Sao Rafael Atlantic hotel, two mins closer to the sea!) provides spacious modern accommodation and is a perfect base for exploring the Algarve or just relaxing at one of the best beaches in the area. The staff were very helpful and friendly, giving a five star service without feeling stuffy. […] The hotel has a very cool, stylish feel to it - from the large well-furnished balcony suites to the restaurant and public areas. The breakfast spread was amongst the best we've seen and the restaurant was very good if you don't want to eat in Albufeira (a short drive away). The hotel runs a seafood restaurant and (daytime only!) bar at the nearby beach and two bars (poolside in the daytime) onsite - and there's a well-stocked minimarket nearby. Only downsides: no WIFI, the spa/indoor pool closes in the evening, which meant we never got to experience them! Overall, an excellent hotel that made for a thoroughly relaxing holiday. Superb! Zoals het en 5-sterrenhotel betaamt was de service zowel in het hotel als in het restaurant prima en vooral het eten (wij hebben bufet genomen) was goed.Jammer was dat het hotel een beetje van het strand afligt, je geen Wifi op de kamer hebt (wel in de lobby) en dat je verplicht een badmuts opmoet (5 euro) in de spa/relaxruimte. Ook was daar het zwembad […] niet verwarmd, waardoor we doorverwezen werden naar een ander CS-hotel een stukje verderop. Al met al prima naar ons zin gehad in een ruime suite met strak ingericht interieur. Devamı

Zeer nette ontvangst en service die hoort bij een 5-sterren hotel. Fraaie en strakke suite en aankleding van het hotel. Jammer dat er geen Wifi is op de kamer en dat het zwembad in de spa niet verwarmd was (april 2012). We konden wel gebruik maken van een indoorzwembad van een naastgelegen CS hotel, wat we overigens niet gedaan hebben. Een badmuts is […] overigens verplicht bij het gebruik van de spa. Veldig bra hotell med utmerket hyggelig service. Frokosten var stort sett engelsk, men også mye frukt. Eneste minus var at det ikke var wifi på rommene.

Infrastructures et personnel de qualité. Hôtel fréquenté par les familles donc bruyant malheureusement. Dommage que la Direction de l'hôtel n'ait pas mis en oeuvre une politique ou une charte de bienveilance ou de courtoisie à respecter car l'hôtel est classé localement 5*. Très belles criques à proximité mais nécessité d'avoir un véhicule.

El trato del personal es excelente y exquisito, competentes y muy amables, sobre todo uno de los recepcionistas llamado (LUIS). En el tema del restaurante del hotel, no me refiero al comedor de la piscina ni al bufé, sino al restaurante con un chef. Me parece absurdo que una persona adulta no pueda consumir una tortilla de niños. En la carta viene menu […] infantil, por lo tanto ningun adulto puede pedir el menu infantil. Me parece algo exagerdao. Pero en general lo recomiendo y mucho. Devamı

Stort og fint hotell. God mat, lunch og buffet. Stort uteområde, god kapasitet på tennisbane og minnigolf-bane. God tilgang på hånkler. Veldig dårlig treningsrom. 1 mølle som alltid var i bruk, bortgjemt i et kjellerrom. Dårlig rydding ute ved bassengområdet. Hotellet ligger 10 min gange fra stranden. Très bel hotel qui mérite les 5 étoiles. Personnel très sympa, attentionné. Buffet du petit dej digne d'un 5 etoiles. 2 très grandes piscines. Diner buffet un peu cher à 30 euros hors boisson.

Para nós é uns dos locais de eleição, já somos clientes anteriores e vamos continuar, adoramos.

Fantastisk personal, hann bara stanna 2 nätter och var sedan tvungen att åka hem pga dödsfall i familjen hemma i Sverige. Personalen på hotellet ordnade då så att vi bara behövde betala för de nätter vi varit där utan att vi bad om det!!

Hotellet tilfredsstilte alle behov til komfort og personalet var svært vennlige og serviceinnstilt. Eneste utfordring var harde senger, men dette ble tatt hånd om ved henvendelse til resepsjonen. Dagsfersk Aftenposten ble bestilt og plukket opp i resepsjonen hver dag på vei til stranden. Dette er definitivt et hotell vi vil tilbake til! Anbefales på […] det varmeste. Avstanden til Albufeira Gamlebyen var 5 min i taxi og kostet litt over 5 euro. Devamı

Un trato excelente por parte del personal del hotel. Algo retirado, pero muy tranquilo. Hotel muy cómodo para personas con movilidad reducida.

I was very disapointed at this hotel, it is not at all a five star hotel. The hotel is new which was nice, but it has absolutley no feeling of luxury. We had cockroaches in our bathroom and the room was small and the bed uncomfortable. Do not eat at the à la carte restaurant, the food is bad and pricy. I can not recommend this hotel.

Allt bra ,nära till en jättefin strand mycket personal men jag saknade en person som stekte ägg o el omelett till frukosten

Kjempebra hotel som vi gjerne reiser tilbake til. Flotte rom og serviceinnstilte ansatte. Det eneste å pirke på var litt kødannelse for å komme inn i frokostsalen til tider. Designmøblene på terrassen var også litt for "fancy" for oss - ikke særlig gode å sitte i. Ellers hadde vi et meget behagelig opphold på hotellet.
