Clean, cheap and surprisingly quiet given its by-the-airport location. It ain't the Ritz, but if you need a bed, you could do an awful lot worse.

This is a very Spartan hotel, but economical. I've learned to bring my own everything-- hairdryer, alarm clock, even backup toilet paper because they can be slow to replace it. This is a very basic hotel; bring your own hairdryer, soap, shampoo-- even toilet paper isn't always replaced. But it's spacious and the bed comfy enough, and there is hot water, TV, lighting. we just needed a place to sleep and it worked just fine for that, but no hot tub or pool. I guess I didn't need to pack my swim suit. We went to the 49ers game so everything was good.

The Budget Motel has big spacious rooms with a comfortable bed, hot water for showers, and is convenient to the SFO area. It is basic, so be warned you're going to need to bring an iron, hairdryer, and alarm clock or iPhone with you. No breakfast, no frills, and the parking can be a bit peculiar across broken sidewalks. If you need to stay economically in the San Bruno Area, close to South San Francisco or the Cow Palace, this place is basic and spacious. Just remember to bring your ow everything-- clock, radio, hairdryer, or you'll be taking the bus a mile up the road (traffic too heavy for walking to be safe) to buy it.

I arrived at 9:30 am in the morning, and hung out at the mall until noon. I went over to the Hotel to check in early, they would not accommodate me until 3:00 pm. They would not even hold my luggage for me. I asked for wake up calls every morning at 6:00 am, the lady said no problem. The second morning no wake up call!. I went and asked why I did not […] receive any call, and she said I had to ask every night for a wake up call the next morning. That was not what she said when I checked in! Last day check out was at 11:00 am but my plane did not leave until 7:30 pm. They would not hold my luggage for me. THIS HOTEL WILL DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO ASSIST THE TRAVELLER. PROS The bed was comfortable and clean. The motel was about a mile from the San Bruno BART station. The San Bruno Caltrain station was also nearby. CONS The shower curtain was moldy. The phone books and bible were moldy. The bathroom had poor ventilation. The shower-head was poor; painful water spray. The refrigerator wasn't working. The bathroom door […] didn't latch. SUMMARY It was a convenient place to stay, but I don't want to stay here again. This is the worst motel I've stayed in, and I think I'll be more careful about choosing motels. The tub had some hairs in it which was a turn off. The tub looked like it could use a new white pain finish. But the rest of it functioned well and was fine. Bed was good. Water and lights were good. Be warned, this motel has no wireless internet available. Other than that, it's a fine place, very large room, with a 15 minute walk to a BART station. One other thing that may bother some, there's no chain or deadbolt on the door, the only lock is on the doorknob, which doesn't always latch when you close the door.

I bought a sleeping bag and would not even touch the floor. I have no clue what was on the walls. I would not even bath there it was so bad> they never cleaned the room plus the door would not even close.

Generaly not reccomended this hotel and even No Smoking room has unfriendly oddor.

When I first entered this hotel room the smell of mold was so strong that I couldn't hardly stand it. I had to run the fan at high speed to get enough fresh air from outside to try to clear the smell from the room. As I walked on the hard floor, there was a sound of my tennis shoes sticking to the floor. Mold was all around the tub/shower and plastic […] curtain. I did my best to not touch anything in this room. Late at night there were some interesting characters hanging around outside, which made me very nervous to go outside the room late at night. Bring your own alarm clock, hair dryer, and forget WiFi or breakfast. You'd better be organized and not forget the toothpaste or shampoo. But if you want a comfy bed in a clean, spacious (if old) room, a hot shower, in a central location, this is good value. There's a little fridge and microwave, which for the motivated can mean additional savings.

Old place, but clean. Cofortable.

When no other alternative would exist, this is just a place to lay your head. But, keep one eye and an ear open and alert, as some of the tenants and surrounding neighborhood are marginal in character. this hotel was the absolute worst hotel we have ever stayed in. Even though it was cheap, we still paid too much for the room. We stayed in the King suite and I honestly believe that my dog house in my backyard is in better shape. The pictures shown on the internet for this hotel are not what the rooms actually are. This is a good place if your on a budget. It had everything you need and its pretty spacious. The refrigerator was nice to save money on food. It is located about 15 minutes from downtown. When I drove up to the hotel it looked shady. I stayed all of 30 minutes. I checked out and found a different hotel. This hotel is not a business hotel at all. No internet or any other amenities. After a long day of traveling this was the last place I wanted to end up.

Very spacious and clean room. Great stop for a stay for one or more nights.

We were very much disappointed after seeing the room. We booked 3 rooms. All the rooms were very dirty.Surprisingly one room has a blood mark on carpet (Room#110). TV was not at operational mode. The hotel is not that good, but it's cheap. If you wanna save money and just stay for one night, and not expect that much, it can be a not bad choice.

I was waiting for hours and they always said '5 minutes please I'll give you your room' what I did was to move out to another hotel one block from there. I hate this hotel and I want my money back!

I conditionally recommend this motel. When you pull up you will freak. It is terrible. Looks like it is in complete disrepair. If I was driving by I would absolutely never even pull in. We couldn't help but wonder what the building used to be. Was it really always a motel? The ceilings are really high. Walls are painted cinderblock and the bathroom is way back and enormous. Most of the space is useless. All the furniture and fixtures, etc. are cheap and old. But it is in really good shape and it is clean. The bathroom had a stink I couldn't figure out since everything appeared to be very clean. Shower, sink, and toilet were clean and white. Clean towels felt like sandpaper. No wi-fi. No fridge. No microwave. Bought this on the hotels.com app when I realized I'd missed a day on the trip. Bought it on the app about 10am and checked in no problem about 4pm. It is probably less than 5 min to the airport. There are grocery stores, malls, and restaurants around but you can't walk. When you buy the absolute cheapest motel on the list you really can't complain if it isn't junk. The hotel looks old and dilapidated...from the outside. It is much better inside the room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is convenient if you stay close to the airport. Not terribly far from downtown SF but definitely not convenient to run back and forth. I wouldn't book the hotel if I needed/wanted to impress someone. When we checked in, we were amazed at the size of the beautiful room. for that price, the service and quality of the room were unbelievable. Good motel in case of landing to San Francisco airport in late evening and needs to stay for night: clean rooms, really close to airport. There is huge disadvantage: no Internet. ...other than that, it's very dated! Ok for a sleep and go for the price....it's really old but bed and shower seem clean....my main important factor. New Towels would be nice...bring your own to feel better.

Ok, have to say that I didn't excpect much from this hotel and it was ok to stay for a night, but that's it. Hotel room was good for a sleep, smell was funny in the room and somehow outside smellen urine, not nice.

Simple overnighter but rooms were huge

it was terrible! the room that we booked was so dirty like prison!!! Pillow was yellow color, big stain on floor, heater didn't work... everything was terrible. The propety is "old style", needing either a tear down or major renovation. The bed was ok, but the utilities are old and worn. The outside did not look like a holiday Inn, but the inside was clean. the towels could use some bleach. Room temp was adjustable. I got a comfortable nights sleep, clean. no breakfast, but they do not advertise that. We did get a handicapped room which was very spacious. I was very surprised. I've stayed here twice because it was the cheapest thing I could find in the SF Bay area at the time. I'd forgotten the motel when I checked in the second time and my boyfriend said, "Oh, man, this place!" It's just . . . weird. The staff are sort of rude, the rooms are clean but minimal and weird stuff--like, our thermostat was broken, there was graffiti […] on the room's walls, the door removed from the bathroom. It's cheap. Nothing about this place is totally unbearable; but it's definitely not by any means a nice place. The neighborhood is seedy. This Motel is awful. The Receptionist had no English and it took over an hour to get into our room. The room was a disgrace, it was falling apart. Damaged walls and patchwork everywhere. THE BED SHEETS WERE FULLY WRINKLED!!! so we knew they hadn't been changed. Bathroom fixtures falling off walls, some with nails holding them on and scotch tape!! This hotel was the ugliest and worst budget place I have EVER stayed at! ...and I usually rent cheap places all over the country. The only positive point was that there was a lock on the door or else I would probably have been killed. There was a Blockbuster across the street, so that made me feel better, although there was some guy peeing in the street […] outside. The place was a cement block like a barrack with paint chipping off the doors, with windows that had been blocked off..obviously the place was never meant to be a hotel or a residence.
