The electric outlet in bathroom area in room 122 wouldn't hold a plug. Bed was OK but not great. Breakfast was superb.

The price was okay (for a holiday weekend), the location was pretty good (right on the river with a nice view), the activities were plentiful, the facilities were okay (clearly 80s style furniture and decoration), but the beds were awful (back still in pain). "Free Wifi" in the advert means there is one location in the Clubhouse (not in your room) where Wifi is available. Breakfast was hot oatmeal, waffles made to order, maple syrup, fresh fruits, cereals, milk, coffees and juices. The tables/chairs were clean, the floor was not. Full view of the river was nice while having breakfast. Kayaks and BBQ grills […] available for guests on the back lawn overlooking the river. Our room was situated directly on the water with uncommonly good balcony views. Two short flights of outside stairs down to get to our door. No apparent handicap access. We didn't require it. This is just an observation. Quiet, clean hallways. We paid slightly more than some other travelers we met in same area in Ogunquit, but our room was more spacious than theirs, with good views. Certainly less than the B&B's we have chosen before. We will stay here again if we visit for more than a night or two. Grounds are beautifully maintained. Clubhouse decor needs a facelift from the 1980's. Dried water stain on hallway ceiling just outside our room door. Bed linens and pillows were fresh, clean and mattress was comfy. Furniture was standard motel furniture, not Duncan Phyfe. Ogunquit is pretty this time of year, and ours was the peak weekend for leaf-watchers. We spent little time in the room during daylight hours, so we are satisfied with the value. Ate scrumptious lobster at Nunan's in Kennebunkport every night...again. We felt lucky find a place for one night on a weekend during October and were surprised by the quality of the room. It was spacious, as mentioned in other reviews, and the beds were very comfortable. Some of the features: 2 double beds (which seemed like queens), a kitchenette, a large bathroom, and a private area in which to dress. We could hear a […] waterfall nearby and were completely unaware of the traffic on route 1. The location was convenient to both Wells and Ogunquit, which was ideal for us. All rooms in this hotel has a view of the water. It is great for bird watching and just relaxation on the patio. The rooms are clean and pleasant. The morning breakfast are much better than the normal motel type continental breakfast. For the price, this is a good find.

Good for the price. Delightful view of river and ocean from terrace. However, tiny plastic juice glasses at breakfast were unnecessarily annoying.

My only complaint: sound level between rooms. More plumbing noise than I like. Staff is very friendly and helpful. If your room faces east you can get spectacular sunrise on a clear morning. Would return.

I read the reviews from others before going here and the reviews were right on. This is a nice place to stay as long as you don't mind an outdated, undecorated room. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff was very friendly. The breakfast was wonderful considering it was part of the price. Most only have skimpy continentals. Everything […] in the room was in good working order and I was happy to have a small refrigerator. The bathroom was spacious and the only complaint we had was the loud noise after the toilet flushes. We just closed the door after using. We enjoyed the lobby with the cookies in the afternoon and a small bar to purchase a drink to sit and relax with our ipad. It would have been nice to have wifi in the room but the lobby was very inviting. We like to walk so we walked into town, along Marginal Way to Perkins Cove and back. It is about 1.5 miles to town and we walked approx. 6 miles during our round trip. We enjoyed the restaurant across the street but did not like the "Steakhouse". We stayed for a recent wedding, and could not have been happier! Our room was bigger than expected, service was friendly, and breakfast in the morning was awesome! And you cant beat the view! We will definitely choose Ogunquit River Inn and Suites the next time we stay in Ogunquit!

We enjoyed our stay the the Ogunquit River Inn. The room was comfortable and clean. The only unfortunate detail was that we were beneath the kitchen prep area. The prep for the continental breakfast began at around 5 am and was constant foot traffic above our heads til after 10 am. Our next stay we would just request a different area. Staff was excellent, the older fellow running the food service was a very nice guy and makes a good waffle. The breakfast was pretty good for being included with the room. The room itself was large, the views out the window of the river/bay were nice. Their is a rental for Kayaks on-site, tho we didnt partake. The bathroom is large, but needs updating […] and we only were given two towels. Vinyl floors and round toliets? Please guys. Shower was a pre-fab stall, but was nice and clean and there was plenty of hot water from a newer shower head. We had a double bed room, the beds were a bit stiff, but sleepable, tho a bit small. A/C ran well and not that loud. TV was not flat screen, tho there are plenty of cable tv choices. The location is pretty good to points north and south. Your above the town center of Ogunquit which is good if your heading north because the traffic is very slow down there. Pool was heated and it was nice, tho it needed to be shocked, but the kids swimming never noticed. The hot tub was big and seemed well maintained. My only ding is the quirky layout of the property due to the hillside land it is built into, so it left my building looking shoe horned into the property. I would try to be in Building one or two if I returned to catch a better view and a river/bay facing deck. Devamı

Okay so this hotel is really mixed, good value, nice location, not on the beach, but on a nice tributary river and the staff was incredibly nice, but DO NOT STAY IN THE LOWER LEVEL ROOMS WITH SLIDING DOORS, THEY SMELL. Second, the linens are terrible, 1965 Holiday Inn Polyester with cheap blankets. if you were staying for a couple of nights, fridge […] and microwave in room, nice gas grills outside, could cook a few meals. We've been to Maine before but first time in Oqunquit. Definitely will return again. The Oqunquit River Inn and Suites is a good value for your money. The rooms are good size, they have free shuttle service to the beach which is important because parking is a premium and is expensive. Free Continental breakfast is good but adding fruit (besides bananas) […] to the offerings would make it very good. Ryan the hotel manager working the front desk was very friendly and helpful considering he was working 12 hour shifts because end of season makes for staffing issues. The room walls are solid and the place is quiet. We liked the idea of being able to kayak right from the hotel property- very convenient. Hot tub/whirlpool was nice too. Was everything I would have hoped for for this brief family stay, but the location on beautiful Ogunquit (tidal) river, away from the ridiculously commercialized and overcrowded town of Ogunquit, made it a welcomed respite. The grandkids played on the spacious lawn, enjoyed the pool and spa after dark, a good hearty breakfast included, and my daughter […] and I enjoyed kayaking (rentals from the Inn) on the River on the morning tide. The rooms themselves are somewhat spartan, free internet available in the lobby only (24/7), but I personally found this a great value; I'd rather my money go to the great location, the amenities and full breakfast than to a fancy room that I'll only see for a night. In general, this was a good stay. The front desk and breakfast room staff were very nice and accommodating. The pool was nice (although the pool area could use more lighting for night swimming; only the pool itself was lighted). The hotel was clean, although badly in need of updating. Powerwash is needed. We stayed in a room facing the pool on the 3rd floor. The outdoor patio and furniture was in desperate need of a powerwash. Everything looked dirty. The location is very convenient to Footbridge beach and the trolley.

The desk staff neglected to tell us about the hourly shuttle to/from the beach (until the last day of our stay), so we spent $25 each day on parking. The view stinks, just a wet swamp.This was not the view of the water I expected. The lawn chairs outside were old and dirty. The room was very old fashioned, and not in a quaint way. The location was great, the view was beautiful,the breakfast was fine, and the staff was friendly but the beds really needed to be replaced. Two new queen sized beds and some new (not musty smelling)carpeting would have made the room worth the price.

This is actually more of a motel than a hotel, but its only a 5-minute shuttle bus ride from the beach, and one can kayak on the river immediately behind the inn-very fun. The complimentary breakfast is also better than most.

The personal is very nice and friendly and tried to accomodate us as much as they could, allowing us to leave our car in the hotel parking lot while taking advantage of the shuttle to the beach after checkout time (It is very difficult to park in the summer and parking prices are crazy -$25 flat rate). The breakfast was very nice. The view was beautiful, […] the room was clean and spacious, but the mattress quality was not great though. I just stayed at this hotel one night and thought it was good. Excellent location with the trolley so u don't need your car. That have a good bar across the street named Stutesy's Pub and Grille. Excellent view also over looking the marshes. The staff were great, and even offered to give us an upgrade! The continental breakfast was very good!!. We have stayed there before, and would stay there again. The rates were cheaper than a lot of the nearby hotels.
