Great clean place to stay in Ogunquit, Me. Clean and safe with plenty of ocean views. Great Breakfast also.

A group of friends picked this place and I booked as a follow-on. The room was large, though a bit dated and you accessed the room from the outside like a motel, not a hotel. My view from the upstairs of Building 3 was of the beautiful changing leaves around the outlet of the Ogunquit into the estuary - worthy of posting to Facebook. Pros: clean, convenient, nice sunrise view from room, nice staff. Cons: furnishings looked like they were from a1970's odd lots store, beds are old and need replacing. Inconvenient to get to the grass level rooms where we stayed (stairs and steep inclines to walk on) Overall: might be acceptable for a one night stay, but not for us.

Large rooms and view from balcony was nice. Very dated decor, but in ok condition

It was easy to find, clean and friendly staff. It was well worth the money. I would gladly stay again.

Not a resort, very tired rooms and furniture, carpet was filthy. Breakfaxt was low continental quality.

Staff very friendly; awesome jacuzzi and outdoor pool. beautiful setting; hotel itself a little 70ish - but location was great and the rooms were a great size with nice views from the balconies.

We would specifically like to mention the young gentleman who was on reception when we arrived in the evening - he was friendly, welcoming and charming. We would also like to comment on the Breakfast waitress who we witness cleaning up after guests with the same cloth she cleaned a table, two chairs seats, then a table, a radiator top, chair struts […] (horizontal ones) and then cleaned another table top. We found this disconcerting. ... We would recommend this hotel as everything else was lovely, but this breakfast waitress needs re-training. Devamı

Free van shuttle to near by beach. close to many restaurants, and shops. Great continental breakfast in the morning. You can also rent a kayack behind the hotel that launches right from there. Very nice staff. Nice pool and hot tub to enjoy! Been back several times and will go back again!

Overpriced for what you get, but it is August in Maine. Continental breakfast is good,it includes hot waffles and sausage. -Wifi only in lobby (24hrs) not in your room. -Mattresses are very old and uncomfortable -Everything is clean Near both Wells and Ogunquit

Very comfortable, clean, spacious place to stay with a free shuttle to town and the beach. Family friendly and very well maintained. Excellent experience!

Great outdoor pool!

I was told I would have a river view. What they did not tell me is that my room was on the third floor and there was no elevator to get me there. My wife has difficulty climbing stairs. Also, you had to walk down a fairly steep hill to get to the stairs. No parking down there. No enough info up front. Thank you

Our room was in the back of the hotel, on the 1st floor, with a "yard" of lush grass & a great view of the river. The only entrance is a sliding door, & there are chairs outside of it to sit & enjoy the view. The interior of the room was nice... decent carpeting, pretty comfy beds, a table & chairs. The bathroom was a little small, but no biggie. Right […] outside the bathroom was a large counter with a sink. The staff was pretty friendly and helpful/informative. The continental breakfast was wonderful! Someone was standing there making homemade waffles... yum! The outdoor pool/jacuzzi setup is a little small but still nice and cozy. We stayed in the jacuzzi a while, it was nice. The hotel is located on Rt. 1, right in the heart of Ogunquit: plenty of restaurants and activities, etc. in the immediate surrounding area. Perkins Cove is only a few minutes away, that's a fun time. We had a room with relative small windows, it's a pity not being able to enjoy the nice view to the waterside from the bed. The atmosphere in the breakfast corner is a bit cold. Breakfast was rich.

I booked this room last minute and it was practically the only hotel that still had vacancies. I was afraid I was going to have spent a lot of money for nothing. When all was said and done I was actually glad that all the other hotels were full. So long as your not spoiled rotten, this hotel is superb for anybody on a middle-class budget. I loved the […] location because it was outside of the main center, which is packed, loud, and bustling until midnight. A short trolley ride took us in and out of town and at the end of the night we had some quiet so we could sleep. We definitely recommend Kayaking the Ogunquit River, right from the back of the hotel. It is a very unique kayak location because the it is a tidal river which rises and falls with the ocean tides. We kayaked every day for an hour and during our kayak we jumped into the clean brisk ocean/river water. It was excellent. We had a nice view from the deck as well. The natural beauty is subtle and unique. I guarantee you will appreciate it if your a half a decent person. I will return again. Devamı

We got the last room with 48 hours notice. The view of the river and marsh is outstanding as is the opportunity to kayak from the grounds of the hotel. Others have mentioned it is not up to date. I agree 1. No bike racks for looking your bikes. 2.The food is not nutrious, rather sugar and white flour. 3. The building is odd . Built into the cliff so […] there are many stairs to climb to get anywhere. For instance, walking to swiming pool, is around all of the buildings turn the corner and go down a driveway 20 foot drop. 3. There are no comfortable places to sit and enjoy the view and the breeze in the shade, unless your room in the bottom tier. Our room was across from the swiming pool so sitting outside wasn't pleasant. In late July the sun beat down on the rooms and the sitting areas infront of the rooms. 4. The place was nice, a little far from beach and room smelt like pee. Told reception and didnt do anything about it since they already had our money!

We enjoyed our stay there so much we are going back in two weeks. The trolley took us to Perkins Cove & Ogunquit Beach during the day and evening. The hotel was very friendly and accomodating and we thoroughly enjoyed the continental breakfast. We highly recommend to others. Great location to Footbridge Beach.

Beautiful spot and nice pool. Room itself needed a little updating and better linens, tv etc. Not a great value given these factors and location out of town.

We booked this room with only a few days notice for this time of year. We had looked at several reviews etc., and were a little nervous at first. After we got there on the hottest day of the year, we couldn"t have been more satisfied. It is on Rte 1 but you would never know it. The seclusion and quiet of the site was most welcome. This hotel was in a great location, right on route 1. We stayed with a 3 year old and a 6 year old and had a great time. The pool was wonderful and clean. A nice area for the little ones to swim. There was a nice view of the pond/marsh. Like others have stated, the furniture is very outdated, but OK for the short stay. The room did have a slight, strange […] odor. The staff was friendly. The free breakfast was nothing special, a lot of donuts, but it was free and well maintained, not a lot of variety. Very quiet and relaxing motel. I'd stay here again. It's close to everything, and yet it is set apart from the mobs. It's very close to the road that leads to the beach, and it's a part of the beach that's not very crowded. I stayed at this hotel in late June. The rooms were large and clean, and the prices were very reasonable. There's ample parking and an easy access to the Ogunquit River.

My fiancee and I decided on a last minute getaway and I tried this place on a whim! We loved it! The location was nice, 5 minute drive to both Wells and Ogunquit Beach. Hotel staff at front desk was very nice! We booked a King room and it came with an amazing view of the marsh. The room was spacious and had a small dining area, which we used after […] taking advantage of the gas grill that was only steps outside of our room. Breakfast was very nice and free! They cooked us fresh waffles and there was hot sausages, along with bagels, boiled eggs, beans, pastries, plus juice and coffee for drinks! Not bad for a continental breakfast! I also like how there was no extra hidden charges for incidentals or damages! So what you pay to book is what you're going to pay, no hidden fees! This place felt way too nice for a 2 star! I would definitely stay here again! Only thing I can even imagine would be better was the beds, pillows and linens were clean, but mattress itself could be a bit more comfy. Great place! Right on the Ogunquit River. BBQ's available for guest use, kayaks can be rented. Van takes you right to the beach! Will stay again.

We wanted some space and quiet which is not obvious in the Ogonquit area. This hotel perfectly fit the bill - private lawns on the river - waterfall next to the hotel a nice surprise. Herons and geese and ducks, kayaking at high tide. Staff very friendly and helpful and informed about the area and great recommendations for food, etc.

overall the hotel was good. did not like going up and down the stairs to get to our room on the lower level would not recommend going into ogunquit because of the parking.the police love to give tickets to out of state cars.

We stayed at the Ogunquit River Inn and Suites over July 4th weekend- It was a spur of the moment decision to go so we were happy to find a reasonably price hotel. As we have stayed many times in the actual town of Ogunquit- River Inn was about 1 1/2 miles out of town- a healthy walk or a car ride to the town or beach-. However the Inn provides a nice […] shuttle service to and from the beach and there is a trolley service throughout the town. The hotel staff couldn't have been nicer and a nice continental breakfast is included with your stay. The staff was very friendly, the rooms are large enough for a family of four, and the price was very competitive. This place has a Kayak rental on site, to go out onto the Ogunquit River.

A beautiful location with comfortable accommodations--the "continental" breakfast is quite extensive, the staff was friendly and helpful, the location is good, and it was not nearly as expensive as it might have been. The double beds were just that--double beds--the view from all the rooms is impressive. On sunny days it must be spactacular.

This hotel, although designed to be a luxury property, which it may have been at one time, shows severe signs of lack of maintenance. The rooms should have been repainted some time ago. The door frames are rusted and not well cared for. The carpeting in the rooms is quite worn. The mini-fridge in our room did not work at all and had leaked water on […] to the carpet. Our room was only provided with two towels, no extras. This hotel does NOT have in-room wireless internet. Wireless internet is only available in the lobby. The advertised continental breakfast is served in the lobby, but food is not permitted to be carried back to the rooms. Only one trip is permitted to the breakfast area by means of a ticket handed out at check-in. After arrival, we found many other very nice hotels in the area priced much lower than the Ogunquit River Inn & Suites. Some of these were in a much better location and were closer to the center of Ogunquit. We were not impressed at all with this hotel. Devamı
