Celuisma Imperial Laguna - Cancun

I think this hotel could be SPECTACULAR for the price with a new coat of paint, a little cleaning, and textiles. I Loved the homey feeling. The saving grace was the GREAT dining experience/food at the restaurant on the property!

The problem is that my wife and I didn't liked the room we were assign, and these are the reasons why we didn't like it. 1. The hall way to the room looked like a maze as it was not too wide, just enough for us to drag/roll the bags, we had to make 3 right turn after exiting the elevator to get to the room which was at the end of hall. 2. As soon […] as we opened the door we perceived a very strong humid odor, just like some old basements, as if no one had opened the door for a long period. 3. It was a 2 bed room when it was just my wife and I, it would off been ok if we were mad but it was totally the opposite, we were on our honey moon. We didn't even walked in, I instead went back to the front desk and told the guy I was not staying there and asked him if he had a one bed room available but he said all rooms are two beds. Devamı

This low cost hotel near the hotel zone offers Rooms that are not too small, good beds and functioining bathrooms. and this in a very nice garden with a 1st class restaurant overlooking the lagoon. Its not on the beach, of course, but you know this befoer, right? but the price value relationshio is okay. forget the breakfast they offer, but in 5 minutes […] walk you are getting to a small plaza with delicous and scheep baguets. The positives include an excellent price, close to beaches, restaurants and night life and the manager was friendly and helpful. Negatives include decline in general upkeep, lack of hot water and difficult to get more clean towels.

I was pretty dissapointed with my stay. Pros - Good location, nice, big pool, classy if overly expensive restaurant on site, staff polite, though possible deceptive. Cons - kitchenette, fridge, internet and hot water not functioning at all, balcony in poor condition. Worst of all IMO, staff initially said the internet was working, only to then (after […] 4 attempts up and down stairs) say 'temp. unavailable, try tomorrow' exactly the same process as my friend encountered a week and 1/2 earlier. Although his hot water worked. Do not reccomend, try others in neigborhood, much better, and cheaper. Devamı

This hotel used to be a plush, top end hotel before the hotel zone in Cancun got built. Now, it is getting a bit run down. For example, our room's hallway door didn't close right because the door jam was breaking loose from the wall. We were on the 3rd floor so it didn't matter that our balcony door didn't lock. I'm not sure we ever got a hot shower. But […] given it's great location and its very low price, it really is a bargain. If and when it is time to head back to Cancun, I will probably try to book a room at this place again. It is getting a little bit ratty, but it is a super deal. Devamı

We were pleased with our accomodations. It is a good, basic hotel that is reasonably priced. Beds were firm and comfortable. The cable TV offered many, many channels. Our room was clean and hotel staff was honest, friendly and helpful. It is located on a quiet residential street, a block from the main hotel zone street, Kukulhan. Bus service was easily […] available there for 8.5 pesos, or 70 cents. The grounds are quite lovely. The pool is a little difficult to get into and out of due to the design of the ladders. The adjacent La Palapa Restaurant offers fine dining where we enjoyed one of the best meal we have ever eaten! Internet is available in the lobby at an overpriced rate of 80 pesos or $ 6.50 USD per hour. Our reservation included free breakfast: a glass of delicious, fresh orange juice, coffee or hot tea, and your choice of toast with butter and jam, or cereal. Our room had basic dishes, silverware, a two burner hot plate, a microwave oven, and a small but adequate refrigerator. We had a small balcony overlooking the pool and lagoon but would have liked to have two outdoor chairs on it. I would definitely recommend Imperial Laguna for budget conscious travelers. Devamı

This hotel is on the lagoon in Cancun which is not as nice as the ocean. Rooms are a little tired, but not much was expected for a 2 star at the rate we got. You had to pay for WIFI and it cut out on us once and was not very fast. The computer in the lobby could be used for a rate per hour that was as high as I have encountered anywhere in the world […] - so that was a no go for a backup plan. Continental breakfast was: small OJ, coffee, 2 slices of toast - that's it. We had just been a month and a half in South America and were taking a little break before returning to Canada so overall the hotel was a good deal for us. Devamı

We stayed in the hotel for one night just passing through Cancun before flying back to the states after spending an extended period of time in Central America. We were […] able to see all the beaches and big hotels and shopping areas from our balcony, but it's a little walk to actually get to them, (about 15 or so minutes). En especial el de recepción de en la noche, todo un patan para contestar, ya no le dije nada de su pesimo servicio por temor y al día siguiente pues obvio ya era otro. Aparte que el hotel no me gusto, no se ve lo viejo del hotel en las fotos.

Es un buen hotel, pero necesita mantenimiento. Precio muy accesible, El personal muy amable pero no estan muy organizados en cuanto a reservaciones actualizadas y en la asignacion de cuartos, nos dieron un cuarto horrible en cuanto llegamos, hasta que mi esposo acompaño a la persona de recepcion de cuarto en cuarto para escoger uno en mejores condiciones. […] El desayuno no se los recomiendo. Ganske kjipt sted med et lite innbydende basseng. Nå skal det sies at jeg er negativt innstilt til cancun i utgangspunktet og kun sov der en natt for å fly videre til cuba, men skal man først bo i turistdumpen cancun så ikke bo her. Unn deg litt luksus og en strand.

Beliggenheden er fin, men standarden af hotellet er ikke tilfredsstillendeefter vores mening. Vi var her kun en enkelt nat, og der var det ok, men vil ikke anbefale længere ferier her. Værelserne er meget slidte og morgenmaden dårlig.

Vi ankom til hotellet og blev bedt om at vente et kvarter på at vores værelse blev tjekket for om det var blevet gjort rent. Det var det ikke, så vi fik et andet, der bestemt heller ikke virkede til at være blevet gjort ordentligt rent. Der stod shampoo fra forrige gæster og var hår i sengen - heldigvis havde vi sovepose med. AC'en var placeret i et […] hul i væggen, som ikke sluttede tæt, så der kom alle myggene ind. Der var intet køleskab og heller ikke muligt at låne plads i et, og man kunne heller ikke købe noget koldt at drikke der.. Poolen var beskidt, så den var vi ikke i. Morgenmaden var toast og marmelade. Der var bare ikke nogen borde at sætte sig ved, så man skulle tage det med op på værelset eller spise det stående. Det ligger tæt på en stor vej, hvor du kan fange busser i alle retninger og ikke langt derfra ligger en række lokale restauranter, som laver rigtig billig og lækker mad - et plus. This hotel is one of the cheapest I have ever rented. The people working there were very nice. The building is a bit old, but ok. I didn't expect much because of the low price. But have nothing no complain about.. Free A/C, big beds. I slept well, but that was almost the only thing I did there.

No es posible que tenga mal servicio , conozco al dueño de CELUISMA y un empleado no puede hacer que la imagen de la cadena caiga tan bajo.

Voor de prijs (50% zomerkorting) was het gebodene OK. Douche, bed en AC OK. Ruime kamer. Ligging goed, met balkon met uitzicht op lagune, buiten de drukte van de andere hotels en de Kukulkanboulevard. Prettige receptionisten. Heerlijk was het zwembad en de schaduwrijke tuin met aangenaam (Belgisch) restaurant aan het water. Specifiek probleem: er was […] geen sleutel, zodat elke keer de 'receptionist' mee moest. Das war das schlimmste Hotel auf unserer gesamten Mexiko-Reise: total unfreundliches Personal; hat uns das schlechteste aller Zimmer geben in der letzten Ecke des Hotels, obwohl auf den Fotos nur die Zimmer mit Blick zum Wasser abgebildet sind. Hotel war nicht ausgebucht, daher sehr unverständlich. Das Zimmer war schmutzig und hat nach Essen vom Vorbewohner […] gerochen. Die Stühle waren derart verschmutzt, dass sie unbenutzbar waren. Das Frühstück war ein Desaster: in einem Nebenraum lieblos zusammengewürfelte Muffins und Croissants, dazu Kaffee und O-Saft. Das war's. Das Hotel liegt an der Lagune, ist also für einen Strandaufenthalt überhaupt nicht geeignet. Devamı
