We had an off-season stay in mid-April, which worked out extremely well, because the pools, tennis courts, beaches and attractions were relatively empty! But the weather was still warm enough to enjoy everything (except ocean swimming). The amenities at this resort are plentiful; besides the pools and tennis courts, they also have basketball and shuffleboard […] courts, outdoor grills & fire pit, playground, a game room, and an activities center. The activities center rents board games & athletic equipment (free) and a good selection of new movie DVDs (for a small fee). There's a shopping center just a block away with a grocery store, pizza place, coffee shop, ice creamery and a small movie theater. Within 10-15 minutes in either direction you can reach the aquarium, an awesome miniature golf place, and Fort Macon. Devamı

Rates wayyyy overpriced for 16 hours...ck in at 4pmthe and ck out 10am..no exceptions...had to walk all the way back to office after check in because cards didn't work...room was really far from beach access....swam in pool for 15 minutes and discovered fecal matter in pool...must not have anyone checking on the pool...the room was freshly painted and […] decor was nice...just not worth the money. Made the reservation last minute for out of town family. 5 pelope 3 are in upper teens. They had a blast. Saw smiling faces and excietment about the place and what there was to do there, pool, hot tub, beach. A big thank you - I do not have the room at my home for them.

Love the hotel. I stayed an extra night and they gave me the same price as hotels.com

I enjoyed my stay a Peppertree at Atlantic beach and would go back. Nice place to stay!!

Wall are a bit thin and noice carried through the walls and we had young kids above us and could hear them running across the floor and jumping. The Condo and facilities were all very clean and the staff very friendly and accomodating.

Peppertree Atlantic Beach Villas a Festiva Resort was a very clean and comfortable place to stay. The staff that we encountered was polite and accommodating. I will stay here again and I have no problem recommending this place to others.

First off, let me just say that in the right situation, this is the perfect place to stay. That situation is family vacation to the beach, or even a stay for a couple lasting at least a few days. There is a lot of space, full-service kitchen with all the accoutrement, a bathtub with jets, and a spacious balcony, ideal for having breakfast outside. The […] courteous concierge service is also worth a mention. This hotel was not, however, ideal for the situation I was in. I was there only for the weekend to participate in a wedding in nearby Morehead City. Due to a check-in time of 4 PM not being compatible with our 11 AM arrival, we were not able to drop off our luggage or use the facilities before being off to our next destination. While the Atlantic Beach area is beautiful and very fun when in season (a bit desolate when it's not), it is kind of inconvenient when having to be in the nearby towns of Havelock, New Bern, or Morehead City, as you're looking at at least 20 minutes of driving. Then there is the checkout protocol. Guests are asked to observe a strict 10 AM checkout, with no late checkout available, and what I consider a steep per-hour price for lateness. The day after a wedding, when we are out late and are looking at a three-hour drive to the Raleigh airport the next day, 10 AM is a pretty daunting time to be out. Also, you are require to do your own trash pickup and linen removal, as well as submit to a housekeeping inspection. While the staff isn't quite so hardline about it (they were actually quite understanding when I was pressed for time), it's still quite a bit to ask from people who are tired and have somewhere to be. So that's that. Go there if you have a leisurely vacation with no particular place to be after getting there, and enjoy the convenience of the nearby grocery store or Wal Mart just across the causeway. We went down for a wedding, and I found this place on line, very clean, nice location, friendly people. It was like having our own Villa, Everything you needed was there. 3 flat screen TV's. I would go back again.

When we checked in at the hotel they did not have our reservation on their computer. Never the less they accommodated us. The room seemed clean, but as the day and night went on we realized it was not. The tub had mold on the nobs. The beds looked and felt like they had been there as long as the buildings. The staff told me that the building was 30 […] years old. As soon as I got in my allergies flared up. I was itching all over. But it was too late to go somewhere else. And our time was limited. So we stayed. The beach was beautiful and clean. On the Monday before we had to leave housekeeping knocked at the door and asks me for check out. We told her that our check out wasn’t until the next day. So she left and then we received a phone call from the staff stating that their computer said that we had to check out Monday. I told him that he was wrong that our reservation was until Tuesday. By the way he was very rude and abrupt with me. I told him that I have the confirmation. By then my husband was talking on the phone with him and he got even ruder. He asked us to come down to the office and show him the confirmation and that he had to have a visual confirmation of it. Well they had an exchanged of words as you can imagine. Immediately someone of our staff came to our door to see the confirmation. Well the story goes on and on. Overall, the Peppertree was a pretty good condo complex. It's proximity to the ocean and dining options was good. I thought their numbering system for the buildings was quite odd but once we found our unit, it wasn't hard to return. There was about a 1/4 mile walk to get to the beach. Not bad for me but my mother had a little tough time getting there. […] We rented their chairs and umbrella for a fairly low fee. However, they pack them up at 4:30. Beach time lasts for me until 5:30-6. Would have liked a little more time. Not too many options for dining that were good there. Could have cooks but who wants to on vacation. We'd come back again. For the price we payed it was well worth the stay. It was a short walk to the beach and close to everything. We had 2 bedrooms 2 baths and the kids had 2 single beds in there room. They had 3 pools one that was indoor. There was a rec facility where you could rent DVDs or check out kids games. Very nice place over all

This was a very nice place to stay. Very clean and close to all attractions in the area. Family oriented place. There are a few things I would mention, the beach access was not easy from location of our room. They only had one access across the grounds. Also the place had 1 hot tub on the entire grounds. There were times were the hot tub was overrulled […] by unsupervised children who thought it was a swimmng pool. I did mention this to office and they said to just let security know this next time and they would address it. I don't think hot tubs are for small children and there should have been an adult only time. Also they did not allow pets. Other than that it was a really nice place to stay and I would recommend. We had a 2 BR condo that was in the perfect spot near the beach. Amenities are wonderful and the area is full of restaurants and activities. I would have been less enthusiastic if we had been in a room farther from the beach because some were quite a hike away from the access. Parking is abundant and activities are varied within the complex. One other […] note, leave check-out time for stripping the beds and removing trash - wish that had been included but I guess nowhere is perfect. I would recommend this complex to everyone. Devamı

Huge condo with full kitchen a short walk over the dunes to the beach. An exceptional value.

LOVE the Peppertree Altantic Beach!! We loved our villa! The beach is just a boardwalk away and is private. Only guest of the Peppertree have access and it is quite a large beach area. We saw dolphins while swimming! This whole facility is just wonderful. Rooms are very spacious and wonderfully decorated. Top quality linens, very comfortable in each […] room. Quality furnishings. Wonderful staff. Great local. Cannot say enough good about this Resort! Plan on going back for a week next year!! Devamı

We had a large suite with comfortable kingsize bed, complete kitchen and nice living room with sleeper sofa. It was clean and nicely decorated. The large jacuzzi/shower was very nice. Lots of fresh towels. The only negative was noisy power washing of condo decks while I was trying to relax at pool. We will be back!

My friend and I came here for a weekend getaway and really enjoyed ourselves. It is walking distance from the beach and conveniently located near shopping and resaurants. It was nice to have the kitchen to make oue own breakfast. We would love to come again!

My husband and I, as well as a few of our wedding party members rented a few of these condo's for our wedding weekend. There was a total of 5 rooms rented and each one was very nice, clean, spacious and upgraded well. I believe once they upgrade all units, will make for an even better rental location. We travel back to Atlantic Beach quite often and […] would love to stay here again. Every room from the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms to living room are very spacious. Can't wait to come back to visit during a less chaotic time and really enjoy a family get away. Devamı

We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. I really liked that the suite had a feel of an apartment with the small kitchen and living space. Next time I will stay longer.

The Peppertree Resort Villas, in Atlantic Beach, NC. This is a treasure hidden. The room was outstanding, and the friendliness of the staff was superb. Very close to Dining, attractions and fun! Never have we been so welcomed as a guest as we were here. I would recommend this resort to anyone who asks. They should have a Five-Star rating.

For the most part very enjoyable and comfortable. Resort making final touches for season so there was some noise and confusion. WIFI was inoperative and made it impossible to use laptop. Decks were being pressure washed and no one bothered to have guests move cars so mine got a chemical bath. Beach great with bluebird skies.

This hotel is located very close to the beach, which I could see very well from my balcony. The place is clean and neat, with several pools and a nice hot tub. The only negative was the sales pitch they gave when I checked in. They wanted me to attend a 90-minute seminar about buying a unit. Restaurant vouchers and a free future hotel stay were offered […] as rewards for attending, but I was not interested. If they left it there, it would have been ok. But they asked why I couldn't attend the session at 9am on Saturday and what I was doing at 11am, and what I was doing on Saturday afternoon, and why I couldn't come on Sunday. Then they called my room on Saturday just to see if I had changed my mind. This was so annoying that I was tempted to rate my experience as very bad. However, the hotel and its location are good. So I recommend that when you check in, tell them that you are not interested in buying anything and that you don't want to hear any more about it. If they don't follow your wishes, let us all know by posting a review here, and we will all know to stay away from this place in the future. Devamı

We spent a weekend at the resort. We were very surprised to get a one bedroom suite with a jacuzzi, living room, kitchen, two televisions, and a balcony with a view of the beach. With the sleeper sofa, the room would accomodate at least 4 people. The room and the bed were very clean and comfortable. The area was quiet and relaxing. The parking was excellent. […] The place was well -lit. There was also security at the entrance to the resort as you entered and left to prevent unauthorized guests from entering.The staff was very friendly and helpful. We stayed at the Peppertree Atlantic Beach property for three nights. This is a time share resort property. The room was really an apartment: 2 bedrooms (queen in one room and two singles in the other), 2 bathrooms, kitchen, dining/living room area, balconey. This is the perfect size for 4 people and could even accomodate 6 with the sleeper sofa in […] the living room. The kitchen was well stocked. Our room looked like it had been recently remodeled. With this kind of property, you don't have room service and you have to exchange towels. Also there is an inspection when you leave, but those things don't bother us at all. The facility has three swimming pools, although none were operational while we were there. There is also a large hot tub. Other amenities include tennis courts, a game area, arts and crafts, laundry, a gazebo and more. Probably the best feature is how close to the beach the resort is. It's a quick walk over the dunes and we could see the ocean from our front balconey. The staff were very friendly and helpful but not intrusive. The negatives are so minor that they are hardly worth mentioning. The bedroom balcony did not have a nice view and I did not really want to sit out there. Although the resort was very quiet, I wonder if it gets crowded and noisy in the summer as it is quite a large facility. We would definitely stay at this resort again. Devamı

Nice timeshare not a hotel. Really enjoyed it until time to checkout. Had to take sheets off of the beds and place them and towels in a bag outside the door. Also take out the trash and recyclables. A note in the room said to call housekeeping to inspect the room before checkout. Nice place to stay if you do not mind doing housekeeping departments work […] for them, otherwise go somewhere else. We were very disapointed in our stay last weekend at the PepperTree Resort in Atlantic Beach. Being a time-share member myself, I found this facility lacking in amentities that most resorts have.We were spending our Honeymoon there, and did not even have clean towels or our bed made up during our stay. The day we were due to check out, a young man was […] banging on our door at 8 a.m. and asked my husband if we were checking out. Check out time wasn't until 11:00. I was pleasantily surprised at the accomodations. There was more than enough room and the place was spotless. Employees were very helpful and pleasant. I would recommend this place to anyone I know. The rooms were so big, with 2 bedrooms, which I was not aware of when booking, that since we went with four couples we could have put 2 couples in each […] of the accomodation. Very large condo. Clean and well furnished. Right off the bridge, but quite. We did not have time to take advatage of the heated pool, but we would definitely stay there again.

Far exceeded my expectations will most definitly stay here again

I loved nearly everything about my stay here. My only two complaints are so insignificant that I will go ahead and get them out of the way. No salt in the complimentary kitchen bag, and weak wireless internet. Aside from that, this place FAR exceeded my expectations. My unit was honestly nicer than what most of the photos show on the Peppertree website. […] I found our 2 bedroom to be more than roomy enough for the 3 of us. A nice comfy king size bed and huge jacuzzi tub in the master, and a separate bathroom for the guest room. The kitchen was a big plus, and the balcony was quite cozy. The staff was very friendly. Of course this isn't a 5 star resort, and no the appliances aren't stainless steel, the countertops aren't granite, and the linens aren't a million thread count egyptian cotton. You shouldn't be spending enough time in the room to be bothered by these things anyway. I definitely recommend Fort Macon, and the ferry to Shackleford Island in Beaufort!! I booked my time here in order to spend the weekend with my brother who is in the Marine Corps stationed in Jacksonville. We had the most amazing time, and I have already booked again for next month. Accommodations were very roomy, clean and comfortable. Management and staff were friendly and hospitable. The extra large jacuzzi tub is one of a kind and something to see and experience. All and all a good value. Bring you DVDs from home!

The condo was well stocked with all essentials. King size bed was very comfortable. Would have preferred feather pillows. Check out time is 10 a.m. which is a bit early; should at least be 11 a.m. Our short stay didn't allow for more use of resort.

I would stay here again. I was very impressed with the hotel.
