Renaissance Chicago O'Hare Suites Hotel - Chicago

I realy enjoyed my stay. Its 5 minutes walk from the railway station. The hotel has a Starbucks on the ground floor. The staff were very friendly. The room was extemely comfortable. Nothing much in the area, in terms of places to eat. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

We went for a one-night romantic getaway. We live in the area, so the location is great for us. Drove to Oak Park for dinner. The hotel: Calm, quiet, elegant. Very up-scale compared to other suites in the area. The bar is very cool--lounge-y and hip. The room is very comfortable, minimal decorations make it very relaxing. Very clean, spacious, well priced. Bathroom with walk in shower, private bedroom, etc. A very good value.

Very pleased with hotel. We stay there most of the times we visit Chicago. Great room price for the location, however, daily parking charge is steep for that location. Good access to train service. Very clean and spacious rooms.

we arranged a stay with our 2 kids in the same room. There was a bed and a sofa bed which did not have sheets. We called concierge as we noticed but the sheets came 40 minutes later. We got there at 10pm and he kids could not wait that long, they ended up sleeping without sheets.

Very nice rooms, super comfy bed, great lounge. The only drawback is that the hotel is in business park so if you're calling on customers nearby the location is excellent and if you want really convenient access to O'Hare the location is terrific. Access to downtown is best via the CTA and that is is just short walk away but a rather long (30 minutes […] or more) ride to the Loop. There is good dining in the area but be prepared for expensive taxi rides if you are without personal transportation. We were there for a long weekend that involved a conference at the hotel and overall the accomodations were just great. Devamı

The rooms were clean. We had an 11th floor view of the interstate, which was nice. The bathroom didn't have a fan, which was odd. The bedrooms didn't have enough lighting, but that's a mild inconvenience. Internet access is extra, but for this nice of a restaurant and the price of the rooms, you'd think they would include it. I RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO EVERYONE.

Very nice and clean hotel, but did not get the double bed we asked for!! Other hotels in the same area of lesser standard offer many ammenities, this hotel did not. No free breakfast, internet or even parking!! No good for out of town travellers for which these are a must! Overall the hotel was nice.

Comfortable, clean and accessible. Negatives, though, included no free wifi and as with any holiday weekend, the hotel had it's share of noise. Nice, though, that we could close the doors to the bedroom and keep the noise out.

very close to mass transit, made going downtown very easy.

Overall, the hotel was satisfactory. Very short walk to the subway, but not in what appeared to be a very safe neighborhood, and the subway took almost an hour to reach the loop in downtown Chicago. Hotel was somewhat outdated, but it was apparent that an effort to renovate had taken place. It was relatively clean, but not spotless. They were very knowledgeable, friendly, and provided great information. If I had to stay near Ohare again in the future, I would stay here. you can't beat the location to the train. bathroom was huge. couch bed was uncomfortable but that was our only issue.

The room had been recently updated, however the carpet smelled bad.

When I had made my reservations I thought I had reserved two suites that had two full beds. When I got to the hotel it ended up being two suites with one king. My group that I traveled with made it work. The rooms were comfortable and the room service was prompt when we requested more towels and to have our hide-a-beds made. We enjoyed using the pool […] and sauna, however, we could not get the jets to turn on in the hot tub. The one and only disappointment was the food. The breakfast buffet that I ate in the morning was not worth the money because I could have gotten the same quality and quantity of food for half of the price at a ma & pop's diner. We have had our 8th stay in the last 2 months and we always get the same high level of customer service. The rooms and amenities are consistent in their appearance and comfort and the response of the staff is consistent and customer-service oriented as well.

We stayed the weekend with 3 kids and travelled into the city to sightsee on the L. The station was convenient and easy to use. The hotel had a pool and hot tub to end the day feeling relaxed, We opted to add a minimal amount to our room charge for the full breakfast option which was so worth the money! Staff was friendly and helpful, requests were […] handled very fast. The only down sides were the sofa bed and the movies they showed in the pool area on Friday and Saturday night as that was distracting my kids from swimming. We had a great stay! Devamı

The service at the Renaissance Suites Hotel was excellent from check-in to check-out. We needed turn down service for the sleeper sofa and extra linens when one of our children became sick. Both times, the housekeeping staff responded promptly and graciously. I recommend this hotel with reservations because our double bed suite was not as shown in the […] pictures. It was not remodeled yet, so the sleeper sofa mattress was well worn and past its prime. I would use the hotel again but request a remodeled room. Otherwise, the hotel is nice, contemporary and clean. The restaurant staff were attentive and nice. The breakfast brunch was very good but only worth it if you get the "kids eat free with paid adult" deal. Starbucks in the lobby is a plus too! The fitness center is one of the best I've seen - TVs on the treadmills, ellipticals, water, apples, towels, weights (hand and machine), exercise balls, and good floor mats. The pool and hot tub looked clean but we didn't have time to use them. Be prepared for daily parking fee (similar to hotels near O'Hare/Chicago). Location made it very convenient to get to downtown Chicago or NW suburbs by car or CTA. Devamı

Nice hotel, friendly people. No "Mediterranean" restaurant as described, now a "Fresh". Prices high, although food is very good. If you fly into O'Hare and do not rent a car, they will pick you up with a free shuttle, but there is no where within walking distance to eat or do anything else. My husband and I took a late honeymoon and decided on Chicago. We wanted to be close to the Field Museum. The Renaissance Chicago O'Hare was perfect. We were 15 to 20 min from dt Chicago to do so many things. The hotel was clean and the workers were friendly and helpful. We had a problem with our remote an the maintance man came quickly to reset our […] tv. The food was really great. And the view of our suite was perfect, you could see the airplans fly over. The night view from the lights of cars to the tall buildings was great for our honeymoon. Our only issue was the cost of parking each day and the daily charge to use the wireless internet in your room. Overall I would definatly stay there again and recommend this hotel to friends and family. Devamı

Everything exceeded expectations.

Very nice place. Comfortable bed, sofabed for the kids, Very quiet, especially for a weekend, though we were on the top floor, so no stomping from above. Yes, parking is $20/night, but they gave me a break. We came with two cars, and they only charged us for one. Very nice, I thought. Modest breakfast buffet, with eggs to order, very tasty pancakes […] & waffles. $17-adult, $8.50-kids 6+, FREE 5 and under. Or order off the menu. Pool was nice - they were playing a movie (Madagascar) on the wall at the deep end, since it was Sat night. Hot tub was VERY hot, which is a nice change. Usually you get a "tepid" tub. Exceptionally friendly housekeeper, who brought us blankets and sheets on two occasions. Would definitely stay there again. Devamı

Excellent location if you need to be close to O'Hare. Room was big and comfortable. I'd stay there again.

Even though we had to eave 2 1/2 hours into our stay, the staff was very accommodating and the room seemed really nice--hip and clean! We will certainly try again!

I stay here almost every time I fly in or out of Chicago O'Hare airport. The rooms are roomy (real suites) and comfortable, and the huge shower is wonderful. I leave my car there, in a covered parking lot (very important during winter in Chicago). The shuttle runs regularly in both directions. While there is no free breakfast there is coffee and a refrigerator […] in the room, and a Starbucks for morning coffee and snacks in addition to the restaurant. I loved the room--especially the Roman blinds and the shower. The lobby was very nice and it is not right in front of the front desk. Staff was helpful and friendly, even when I told them the website had not been updated. It was the weekend so I didn't have to pay to park. Nice hotell Great gym and pool, Starbucks in loobby is convenient. A little pricey given that I could hear freeway

We arrived late and hungry with a tired toddler. Check-in was a breeze. We decided to just order room service for dinner and were surprised that the prices were very reasonable compared to other hotels' room service. The next surprise was that the food was incredibly delicious! The room was very clean and tidy. It was on the smaller side, but perfect […] for relaxing at the end of the day while attending a kid's concert in downtown Chicago. All the hotel staff were extremely pleasant. We got the package that includes breakfast and I highly recommend it. It was only a little more than the basic room rate and you could get made to order omlettes, pancakes, and there was a buffet as well. It was very yummy! There is also a Starbucks in the hotel lobby which was a huge bonus for my spouse. This is the perfect place to stay while site seeing in downtown Chicago and you will save a fortune compared to downtown hotels. If we ever travel back to Chicago, this is where we will stay! Devamı

We drove to Chicago but stayed out a ways to save from downtown room rates. Renaissance was very clean and attractive with an accomodating staff. Best of all it was just steps from the Blue Line L Train for easy access to downtown. Anyone flying into O'Hare who doesn't mind not stepping out their door and already being on Michigan Avenue should try […] this hotel! Devamı

I had a huge corner suite on the 15th floor with a great view of the city. The room was clean and modern. The customer service was good. Would definitely stay there again.

The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The in suite dining food was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. It was an overall fantastic stay.

The hotel is nice. You get a suite that is of decent size and is clean. You get a TV in both the living room and one in the bedroom. The service could be improved a bit. The lady at the reception counter could be a bit more courteous to me and my son during our checkin...... There is a $20 for parking per day, which is high.

My first experience with this hotel was excellent. But the proof of any good restaurant, hotel, etc, is: Will it be just as great the ext time. The answer to that with this hotel is: Absolutely! The front desk staff was very helpful and made you feel like they WERE serving you. They were very responsive to any issues or details. Our room was clean and […] sanitized every time we've been there. The hotel is 5 minutes from the airport and shuttle service was great and free. We ordered room service late one night and the food was fresh and delicious. A little pricey however, $14 for a Caesar Salad. The Renaissance Suites at Chicago O'Hare is convenient (right on I-90 at O'Hare), very clean, based on our two visits, with a staff very eager to help. Parking was convenient, but pricey, in their garage.

First I was pleasantly surprised on how close to the "EL" Blueline stop was to the hotel (making it very easy to visit the city).I learned you have to swipe your roomkey card when you board the elevator or it won't work in your door (I learned the hard way lol) The room was a bit smaller than i thought it would be ,but that's NOT a bad thing. I loved […] the huge walk in shower in the bathroom, the only drawback was there was no soap, but a call to the front desk fixed that. and like many hotels the prices in the restaraunt are pretty high (TIP: if you don't mind a little walk ..there is a supermarket with a deli dept. fairly close,it's on the other side of I-90 ...but there is a walkway/bridge that goes over the highway) I liked the fact that in the pool area they play family friendly movies projected on the wall.....
