This place is a dump~ The facilities are outdated, the cleanliness of the facility, adjoining convention center and parking ramp are atrocious. I would NOT recommend this place in the future and would NOT stay at this place again !

"Wonderful Staff"
I'm writing this with a mixed message. There was so much I liked about the hotel. The room was great, clean the BED WAS SO COMFORTABLE! My husband brought some very important personal files and left them in the room. These papers should have never left our home. The housekeeping staff turned them in right away and they locked them up. They Fed Ex'd […] them to us right away. WOW! The bad was the location and the parking garage is across the street. I would go back in a minute for the Staff and Room. I'm not sure about the location. Devamı

Nice place downtown. Parking garage is great if you are driving a car, but not easy to park a truck.

Good hotel. Walking distance to a few bars and restraunts. Did not eat at the bar or restrauant at the hotel.

Good business hotel in downtown Waterloo
"Please fix bathroom"
Room was as described. No thrills, just plain room. Does have internet, which was a plus and location met our needs. Please fix the bathroom ceiling, because the plaster was cracking and looked like it was going to fall down.

This was a fantastic place to stay for the money. I would suggest it to anyone. Usually upset with hotels that don't have free breakfasts, but there are numerous restaurants close to the hotel, and the price is so good it doesn't matter.

Nice hotel and accommodations for parking. The beds need to be queen instead of double.
"Walking distance"
We were pleased to be able to walk to all of our destinations from the hotel. Had a great stay!

other than people coming and going at all hours of the night and kids running up and down the halls, not bad...... don't bother with the bar/ restaraunt, the food was not great for the dollars.

The room was really nice, especially for the price. The only thing that I didn't like about the stay was the staff. I wouldn't say that they were rude, but you could definitely tell that they did not like their job, and it came across when checking in.
Excellent price (4 adults), clean comfortable rooms. Would stay again & recommend. Cons: no continental breakfast. Hot tub, not hot & too deep

The hotel was great except the carpets were dirty- stained. The back elevators were slow and could be updated also. Overall, we had a nice time!

"camping anyone??"
its was my sisters wedding and i found the hotel online. was real close to sleeping in the car but it didnt seem any safer out there... inside was dull and people were very unfriendly and i could tell they didnt like their job. even management. i didnt sleep at all because people were yelling and there were syruns everywhere. i know its cheap and easy […] access to the town but dont waste the money.... grab a tent! "Wanted a pool"
Had Grandkids with us so we wanted to make sure that we had a pool. When we got to the Hotel, we were told that the pool heater was broke. Big disappointment for the kids
"First impression"
was a man peeing in the parking ramp as I went to park. That pretty much was the precursor to the stay. This hotel is overpriced for the vast amount of updates needed.

"Ramada Hotel Waterloo Iowa"
Its is an adequate hotel especially for the price. It is clean but somewhat spartan and outdated. The staff is very nice and accomodating. The hotel is in a very quiet downtown. There was air in the rooms but not in the hallways
"Not recommended...."
Our AC did not work on one of the hottest days of the year. We were able to switch rooms, but didn't receive any more help than, "Here's your key, bring back the old one." The hotel has seen better days.

Parking garage had too low of a ceiling for our vehicle. Very nice place. Thanks for the shampoo. Watched swamp people. Great show.

"Enjoyed"
We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The staff was very proffessional and the hotel was pet friendly.

The hotel is older and could use some updating. Our room was at the end of the hall and our doorway was so dark it was difficult to see. The gals at the front desk were less than personable. And not helpful at all. I got the impression they didn't like their jobs. We did order room service and the food was very good.
"An Ashtray With An Elevator"
Decent sized room but, despite being in a non-smoking room, I smoked about two packs just breathing. The hallways and lobby smelled of smoke and the room was just as bad. I asked for another room and was given another non-smoking room with the same odor. Dark and tired looking. Won't stay there again and I am in Waterloo quite often.

"Was the Best Stay I have had in a long time"
hotel was well worth the money, I was surprised it was so cheap a rate! The Desk clerks were extremely helpful, and the Restuarant was mildly priced. Thank you Hotels.com for your reccommendation to my staying there

Hotel was pretty nice. Lacking a little class but for the most part nice. Hotel bar was a nice place to have a drink.
