The hotel is in a very nice location and the grounds are beautiful. The town of Placentia is a cab or bike ride away. The hotel itself is a little tired but it is kept very clean as is the grounds. we were so close to the water....every room seemed to have a great view of the ocean...we had a wonderful deck with hammock that was so relaxing. the restaurant was great and we ate at the hotel for every meal except one great meal across the street at the marina (mexican restaurant overlooking the harbour). we could do everything from the hotel..complimentary […] bikes and kayaks...we signed up for excursions from the hotel front desk...could have signed up for tours from the village vendors, but the convenience outweighed any cost savings. would def stay there again..only critic was that the mattress on bed was not very comfortable. Great full service hotel. Rooms are outstanding. We stayed in a 1bed room suite. Loved the hammock in each room. Nice continental breakfast every morning. Would stay again. Downsides: a little far from town, food on site wasn't great.

Beautifully located right on the beach it provides a dream vacation. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the rooms were nice, 3 pools, and good meals.

We were picked up promptly at the Placencia airport & driven the short distance - 5 mins. - to the resort. Rafael was very pleasant - he dropped us at the entrance & took our bags to our room. Check-in was simple & efficient. The room - upon first impression - was spectacular! Big king bed in a very spacious room with sitting areas, tv, etc. Once the […] door to the (very spacious & private) balcony was opened, it felt like a movie scene - the ocean & beach "exploded" before us. There was an extra bedroom with bunkbeds. The bathroom was great. We ate the first night in the resort restaurant; had the appetizer & dinner specials. The food & staff were excellent. Prices in Belizean dollars were reasonable for a nice restaurant right on the ocean! Breakfast, which was included each morning, was a self-serve buffet of breads, fruit, juices, & coffee. We dived through Robert's Grove dive shop - my husband earned his PADI Open Water certification in 2 days/4 dives. Great dive shop & staff #Doren, Conrad, Stephen & Francisco, + captain William + cook Frank# - the only issues were that the dives were 1 1/2 hours from shore & we were not told that we would be charged for lunches that were only "fair". We stayed 3 nights; on the other nights for dinner & nightlife we headed into town & experienced "The Barefoot Bar" & "Wendys" - both are recommended. Taxi to town, according to Robert's Grove, cost $10 USD - we later found out from a cabi that it was $6. Placencia is great!! Devamı

Robert's Grove met our expectations for vacation with our 18 year old nephew to celebrate his senior year and impending graduation from HS. It was convenient to town and other activities. All staff were friendly and personable. Use of Hobi Cat sailboats, Kayaks, and Bicycles is included and a great amenity. We snorkeled just off the beach and found […] sand dollars and starfish, saw varied fish and some ray/skates. The tours we booked included snorkeling, fishing, zipline and cave tubing. We enjoyed all the activities, and the highlight of our trip included snorkeling with the sea turtles and huge rays off of Silk Key. Would recommend this trip to all. Devamı

Excellent accomodations and staff. Beautiful scenery. Use of boats and bicycles on premises was teriffic. Be sure to ask about renting their golf cart to drive and tour on your own throughout Placencia which is legal...day and night. Very reasonably priced. They did an excellent job organizing tours. Villa suite....did not have TV in bedroom -- only […] in living room area. Mattress was very hard....too hard for my taste. Devamı

The hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. The resort was extremely comfortable to relax after a 3 day sailing trip. We wished we could have stayed here longer. Would definitely recommend this resort to other travelers. Staff were friendly and helpful. The resort dive shop offered great service.

RG is a five minute taxi ride north of the air strip. The resort also has two restaurants; one sea side and the other lagoon side. The food is ok, but really you are there for the scenery. You can use the Hobie cats, canoes, snorkel gear etc. for free. There is a Spa where you can get various massages. The rooms are spacious, air-conditioned, and with […] great water pressure. The beds are comfy and the people very friendly. They’ll give you a bike or call you a cab to go into the village (about 5 minutes south of the airstrip by car). There’s not much to see or do there really. The Barefoot bar serves very strong drinks, and has a great crowd. Tutti Fruti has gelato, but is closed during the slow season. This is great spot for families and to just relax in a hammock by the beach or on a lounge chair out on their dock and read or sunbathe. They have a ten foot beaches grainy beach Placencia, but it is better than Ambergis Caye. At night they have a lot of indirect up-lighting and the trees are decked-out with green rope lighting giving it a very serene feeling. They have Cable in the rooms on older small TVs which is taken from a stream from Detroit Michigan so you can get the local news from there (ha!). The landscaping and decoration is very well done, and there is something visually interesting to see wherever you look. Lastly, they will automatically charge you a 10% gratuity on your food and drinks to which you can add. Devamı

No soap dish for shower. Window sill in shower paint flakes. Toilet paper dispenser needded to be screwed back in and or anchored with putty. toilet handle very loose(i fixed). A/C unit in rooms are very loud and old. Ceiling fan could use some lubrication. All minor and easy fixes for this fabulous resort! We had booked 8 nights at the Roberts Grove and we loved the place! What was extremely important to us was that we were allowed to bring our little Mini Pinscher who was tolerated around even on the beach. It is clear that we always cleaned up after her. The hotel is situated directly on the beach and we could see palms and sea directly from our little […] veranda. The rooms were really clean, and the condition is like the photos show at the hotels homepage. The air condition works great. The staff was great and always very helpful. We had a lot of fun with them. We loved the food at both their restaurants. It was excellent. The only downside here is that it is pretty upscale so you would not want to eat there every day. The prices were excellently high as well :) and the place almost too exquisite to eat their every single day. Meaning, you have to look for alternatives in Placencia or Seine Bight. Devamı

Hotel was nice, view was beautiful, beach was dirty because the rivers flow into them. This is true all over Placencia. If you wanto to read a book and relax this place is perfect. If you want action and entertainment then this whole city is the wrong place to come. Nothing to do for kids. Staff was nice, dive shop left a little to be desired. Beautiful. Staff is awesome. Food and drink great. Spa great for Belize. I had a nice manicure,pedicure, full body wrap and massage, and a facial. They will pick you up at airport and drop you off. ( Local airport ) Not international. We like ocean view for our rooms. Go to relax and get to know Belize.

The staff helped with connecting flights, had great recommendations for side trips and were genuinely friendly and helpful. The resort is well located, a short cab trip to downtown. The rooms were clean, comfortable and had great views. The Mexican buffet night had awesome food.

We cannot say enough good things about Robert's Grove. It is under new management and the resort is beautiful. The food is good and well priced. They offer a variety of included activities, as well as different themed buffets, as well as their two restaurant menus. Our room was perfect. We sat on our porch most evenings and enjoyed that very much. The […] location to the village was also perfect. They have free bicycles and we saw many riding into the village.
