The hotel is directly in front of Westbahn station which makes it very convenient to take trains from outside Vienna as wel as metros within Vienna. However, the condition of the hotel is rather old and the lift doesnt' make you feel secure. The hotel service is very good and willing to help. I have booked a day tour and required to call up to confirm, approached the reception for help and the lady was very helpful.

I was extremely satisfied with every aspect of my stay at the Westbahn Hotel! Review of hotel ameneties, rates, and location was easy through hotels.com. The rate was easy on my pocketbook, and the location was PERFECT if arriving in Vienna by train at the Westbahnhof train station: you just get off train, walk towards the train station building, then […] at the head of the train platforms instead of entering the building, just turn left, walk half a block to the stop light, and the hotel is directly across the street! Considering all the luggage I had, I couldn't have asked for a more ideal hotel location. Additionally, the hotel staff was very helpful and friendly. I arrived with no specific plan on what to do for my short visit, and they provided me with tour information, booked my tour, and offered advice on excellent and affordable restaurants both near the hotel as well as near the city center. If I ever have the opportunity to return to Vienna, I will absolutely stay at the Westbahn hotel, and I will recommend any friend or family member who visits Vienna to stay there as well. Devamı

the hotel needs a complete renewal, particularly the rooms.

This hotel is right across the street from the train station. Our room was a nice size and clean. We didn't hear any noise from the street. The clerk was exceptionally helpful. The internet was free and worked fine. there's also a computer and printer in the lobby for guests.

super-convenient location right across from train station. room a bit hot but otherwise fine. coffee in room in ad misleading as it is not free but part of minibar. friendly despite late-night arrival and early departure.

Friendly English speaking staff, nice buffet breakfasts (extra charge). The hotel is across the street from Westbahnof with frequent connections to the airport, and the subway line U3 taking you to the historical center of Vienna. A 45 minute leisurely walk takes you straight from the hotel to the Museum quartier. Clean, friendly hotel right near the Westbahnhof, and on tram lines. Older and a bit shabby, but staff are helpful. Facilities are limited. Breakfast is expensive for what you get, but there is a nice hot breakfast across the street in the Bahnhof for about 1/4 the price. Westbahn hotel in Vienna, very close to Mainline, Underground railways and the tram stations but in a side street so little noise. Friendly, helpful and thoughtful staff. I will certainly be going back there!

The neighborhood was not very nice and the location is too far from the city center, where tourists spend more time. Good for business, not so good for tourists

The Hotel claims to be a Four star, but sorry to say the hotel is not at all at four star level. However, to be honest, the hotel staffs were quite helpful and nice.

The hotel was overall good. The rooms were comfortable, nice showers. The toilet bowl showed marks of old age and extensive use, but still clean. The reception staff were very helpful, but in general there must have been some miscommunication amongst staff because we had to ask for extra towels, blankets, spoons, every night as the cleaning staff would […] take everything away every morning!!! What didn't seem very welcoming was that there was a fridge with a mini bar which is generally clear that everything in there was for sale; there was also a kettle and cups and some sachets of tea, coffee, sugar etc... Those are usually complimentary and there was no clear note of the contrary so we ended up paying 9.20euros extra for 4 sachets of tea.! That seemed a bit surreal for a 4star hotel. Why put a kettle in the room? We could have ordered the tea from a room service and pay the same and not make it ourselves. In general the room was clean apart from a specific part of the surface over the fridge under the kettle and the basket with the teas and coffees which was dusty daily! Also, the pictures in the website are a bit misleading... The picture with the big buffet with the long corner table does not exist for real! The breakfast buffet costs 14 euro per person per day and it was only cold dishes and not many choices on a row of 3 tables. Charcuterie was exposed to the sun while on the buffet. Definitely not worth the money. Apart from these little details the hotel is quite comfortable, very close to the centre, next to a central station that also has a coach line to the airport, which was very convenient. Devamı

Perfect hotel in a very good location. nice staffs, clean rooms with good air condition without refrigerator. wifi internet and breakfast is included. we had two rooms, one for three and one for two. the triple room was perfect, but the double room was noisy even when the windows were closed, because the hotel is besides train station. Well located to local metro. Service was great. The bed was kind of hard though.

Yes i would recommend this stay just a couple of issues though nothing to be to concerned about... (1) is you have coffee making facilities though you have to pay for the use of coffee or tea sachet so take your own easy to purchase ..actually i take them everywhere ... (2) Internet access in room and have to pay for this service. (3) i booked deluxe […] room for one and received a key to a single room after bringing this to the attention of the night reception i received the correct room and key. (4) Breakfast is 13 euro though did not take this option. (5) i asked if there was any messages for me and the reception replied no with laughter...not sure what to make of the reception staff as not up to date with some simple questions... (6) yes i would still recommend this hotel it was very clean and very convenient to my needs...a lovely asian restaurant around the corner shopping walking distance near by or simply catch the train to the main tourist destinations ..importantly airport shuttle bus leaves on the hour from the airport to walking distance (2) min to the hotel from Westbahnholf station bus stop... The location of the Hotel is great. Easy access to most of the places. The personnel were so helpful and friendly. But there was no WIFI which is very necessary these days, mostly if you carry an iPad. You find Free WIFI and complementary coffee in most . Hotels around the world.

This hotel had some wonderful staff to assist with our requests, even booking outside travel arrangements with a nearby tour group. The rooms are pretty simple, but they try to make you feel at home with a few of the amenities. Easy access if do not mind walking to sight seeing areas. Need to walk about 200-300 meter if want to take the bus as the place is a bit away from the main road with many buses.

Small room (tourist double) but clean and adequate for a couple nights stay. Hotel front desk clerk very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed our stay.

It was an old hotel with a very bad elevator and depressive bad smell environment. The good thing was the location. I will not come back again to this hotel.

The room was very crammed, hot and noisy. A fan was provided but it was too strong for such a small space. The hotel is badly in need of an upgrade

Jeg fik hvad jeg bad om. Et centralt beliggende no-nonsense hotel lige ved Westbahnhof hvilket var smart da jeg skulle videre med tog næste morgen

En rigtig fin oplevelse. De tog godt i mod os da vi ankom meget sent om aftenen. Værelset var fint og hotellet ligger godt i forhold til toget som bringer en videre. Vi var der i sagens natur ikke så meget, men det var bestemt anbefalelses værdigt.

Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zimmer war sauber; die Heizung hat leider nicht so richtig funktioniert - zuerst war es sehr kalt, dann total heiß. super Lage gleich neben dem Westbahnhof, trotzdem ist die Belastung durch die Lautstärke vom Verkehr eher gering.

Apesar de ser um hotel nao dos mais modernos mas é bem arrumado e fica ao lado da estaçao, bom custo benficio.

Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer sauber aber sanierungsbedürftig

Är ett bra hotell med ypperligt läge, nära Westbahnhof med tågförbindelser och flyplatsbuss etc. Samtidigt ett stenkast från främsta shoppinggatan Mariaheilferstr. Dock något slitet och i behov av uprustning och uppdatering, t.ex. av internetanslutning samt rumsnycklar etc.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht bei diesem Hotel. Die Einzelzimmer sollten renoviert werden.

Westban hotel est avantageeux pour les voyageur en train car à 2 pas de westbanhof. Très pratique en métro de rejoindre le centre de vienne. Il est bien tenue et les chambres agréable.

Prim hotel za prima cent umístěný u nádraží a v blízkosti tramvají a přímé chesty po Mariahilfe strasse přímo do centra. Výborný poměr cena/místo/výkon. Parking naproti v parkovacím domě za rozumné pěníze. Doporučujeme.

Das Zimmer braucht eine Klimaanlage!

Syntes jeg havde lidt svært ved at, se hvorfor de har fået nr. 4 stjerne. De havde lidt svært ved at forklare eller tale på engelsk. Men det ligger dejligt nemt til alt, gågade, museumsområdet og resturanter. God hotel til byoplevelser.

Ett underbart hotell om man inte ställer jätte höga krav. Absolut prisvärt och trevlig personal. 3 min gångväg till Westbahn station där du finner Tåg, spårvagn, buss och tunnelbana.

Hotellet ligger lite utanför de stora sevärdheterna, men mycket nära shoppinggatan Mariahilferstrasse, flygbussen (som tar 45 min till flygplatsen), tunnelbana och spårvagn. Personalen är urtrevlig, rummet jag hade var dock utan ordentlig luftkonditionering (men det fanns en golvfläkt inställd i rummet som hjälpte en del). När jag besökte hotellet […] i juli 2011 fanns inte trådlöst internet, men dock trådat och en internatuppkopplad lånedator. Jag har inte prövat hotellets frukost. Devamı

Die Lage des Hotels ist sehr gut da von hier aus sehr viele Ziele leicht und schnell erreicht werden können - auch zu fuß. Das Personal ist immer freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Rezeption rund um die Uhr besetzt. An heißen Tagen wäre natürlich eine Klimaanlage im Zimmer von Vorteil. Die Ausstattung der Minibar ist voll in Ordnung. Von Vorteil wäre […] es wenn man in den Zimmern eine Preisliste für die Getränke finden würde und so einen Überblick über die Preise hätte. Alles in Allem war ich mit dem Aufenthalt im Hotel sehr zu Frieden und würde mit dort wieder ein Zimmer buchen und das Hotel gerne an andere Personen weiterempfehlen. Devamı

Wir waren mit dem Hotel zufrieden. Die Lage ist gut, da man zu Fuß gleich in der Mariahilferstraße ist und auch die U-Bahn und Straßenbahn beim Westbahnhof sehr nah ist. Das Zimmer war klein aber gemütlich. Leider gab es keine Klimaanlage und es war immer sehr warm im Zimmer. Das Hotel ist schön etwas älter aber sauber.

Vi var på ett stort event på Wiener Stadt Halle i april. Perfekt hotell för det var gångavstånd både till Wiener Stadt Halle och Flygbussar, tåg och Ubahn. Mycket trevlig och hjälpsam personal. Vi trivdes aldeles utmärkt. Kan verkligen rekomenderas.
